Hi, I’m Nadine, a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth and lactation educator, mentor, and passionate advocate for informed, compassionate care. Since 2016, I’ve supported hundreds of families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum weeks. Every family, every birth, and every journey is different, which is why my approach is never one-size-fits-all. I combine extensive hands-on experience with evidence-based education, practical preparation, and calm, grounded support. I am an artist and writer living near Toronto, Canada. I am passionate about being outdoors as much as possible and watching things grow. I am simultaneously certifying as a doula specifically for labour/delivery but also for end of life. I believe in the goodness of the human body and am specifically in awe of the birthing body’s magic. The rhythms and cycles we live in at a physical and emotional level have always fascinated me. It is a privilege to support individuals and families undergoing beautiful, massive, world-shifting transitions.

I grew up enchanted by midwives—their cheerful energy and seemingly magical presence as they welcomed my siblings into the world. That early fascination inspired my path into women's health. With a background in physical therapy, I have a deep passion for pelvic health and reproductive wellness. As a doula, I strive to provide evidence-based education, compassionate and holistic care, and strong advocacy so that families feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their birth journey. I hope to further specialize in lactation, exercise therapy, and water birth, and I am committed to continual growth and lifelong learning in my doula practice. I also love research and aspire to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of women's health in the years ahead. Outside of my work, I enjoy hiking with my preschooler, reading, writing about birth experiences in the East, and deepening my spiritual practice as a Muslim.

Hello! My name is Lauren, the hands on and heart led birth and postpartum doula in Durham Region. I'm also a big homebody who loves to read, craft my own tea blends, make natural skincare products and candles, and spend time in nature as much as possible. Becoming a doula felt like stepping into a path that was already laid out for me. I have always felt a fierce protection for other women, and connected easily and deeply with the women in my life. Combined with my interest in herbal healing and natural remedies, my previous work with and love for children and babies, my need to feed everyone I love home cooked, nourishing meals, and my interest in birth & the medical system, I realized that I already was a doula, I just needed to take the leap onto the path.   Early in 2025, I completed a 10 day doula training retreat in Costa Rica, which was a beautiful way to begin my new career.
