I would like to give birth in a hospital. My Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance benefits are limited to $1,500 for a doula. I would like a little to non medicated birth using alternative methods, preferably anything that is biblically based.

Skin to skin contact for minimum an hour. My baby is never to be without my husband or I. No procedures that are not necessary.

My birth plan so far is, I want to go unmedicated if possible, I want a doula who can speak up for me when needed and know what to do, I have a hard time speaking up for myself, especially around medical people. I want an atmosphere that’s calm, no bright overhead lights.
