I'm Amber, founder of Rooted Motherhood Co., a pediatric sleep consultant and postpartum doula serving families through pregnancy and postpartum. My own experience with postpartum depression was the turning point that led me into this work, and once I found my way back to myself through better sleep, I became passionate about helping other exhausted, anxious moms do the same. As a sleep consultant, I take an individualized approach, looking at the whole child and the big picture rather than forcing one method on every family, and my gentle sleep training is grounded in evidence, not rigid rules. That same drive to support moms led me to become a postpartum doula too, closing the gap in postpartum education and care that I felt so deeply myself. Rooted in my Christian faith, I believe that if you are rooted before the baby comes, you can stay rooted through the hard parts of postpartum, and that belief is the heart behind everything Rooted Motherhood Co. offers.

Hello everyone, my name is Trisha. I live in Fort Worth, TX and I serve Fort Worth and Dallas. I recently moved here from New Jersey with my husband, 5 kids, cat and dog and I love it here! I have always wanted to be in birthwork, since I had my first child at 18, but never knew where I would fit in. A few years ago I learned what a doula was and knew that that was where I belong. I love all things pregnancy and childbirth and love to learn more about it. I have worked in restaurants my whole life so I am very good at multi tasking and thinking on my feet and solving problems. I am a newer doula, however I have been helping friends, co workers and family forever with childbirth. I had a traumatic first birth that ended in an emergency c-section. Postpartum Recovery was even more difficult without the support I truly needed. When I was ready to try for a second baby, I miscarried. It took a lot out of me, to get the answers I needed to explain why I miscarried and to find a provider who was going to be safe for me. I knew I wanted a doula and the right birth team that would support me through a VBAC. My team heard me and created space for me to achieve a dream birth!
