Outside of doula work, I’m a mom and sister who prioritizes self-care, spirituality, and holistic wellness. I enjoy working with herbs, nurturing my own healing practices, and staying grounded so I can show up fully and present for the families I serve.

My experience as a Postpartum Doula, Maternal Health Project Leader, and educator has given me the skills to nurture both mothers and newborns while creating a calm, reassuring environment where families can thrive. My name is Fable Rodgers-Kurilenko and i've been a practicing Postpartum Doula(and occasional Birth Doula) for nearly two years after a long history with Nannying and being a Daycare teacher. I became a Doula because I longed to become more connected to families and mothers but within the Daycare setting due to conflicts of interest, was un able to do so. I had been interested in doula work since my early teens. My mother even bought me birth books in high school! That's when I left the daycare setting (returning to nannying for a time while I was in school) and got my doula certification. Later that year I began practicing first in births, then I found that my true love was postpartum. Now I am a mother myself as of last year and can truly understand the importance of postpartum care. My husband and I could not have survived the newborn stage without the help of family, friends (and a doula) and it is such a joy getting to support Mothers and Fathers through the most vulnerable time is their lives.

Hi my name is Ashlynn and I am the owner of Nurtured Blossoms Doula Care. I have 9 years of experience working with children and families across the lifespan. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Colorado State University Pueblo. I completed postpartum doula training with DONA. I then started working as a postpartum doula with San Antonio Birth Doulas where the emphasis was on serving teen and lower-income families. Nurtured Blossoms Doula Care was then born and I have continued to serve families as a postpartum doula. I have always had a passion for all things birth, postpartum, child development, and helping others especially parents. When I had my first I struggled with postpartum depression, navigating working after having a baby, breastfeeding pain, and just normal new parent transitions. About Linda I am a Postpartum Doula, a lactation counselor and a Newborn Care Specialist. I care for and support new parents and their families after the birth of their baby/babies. I offer infant care, education and guidance, breastfeeding and bottle feeding support, emotional and educational support, cooking, errands and more. This is a very exciting, yet very overwhelming transition in your life and I will be there to guide you through the first 6-12 weeks. The need for support after birth is great. Many families live very far away from the members of their family that could offer help and guidance. If they do live close, chances are they work or have very busy lives themselves. Many partners have to go back to work after just a couple of days or a week off. Having a postpartum doula reduces the chance of depression and increases your positive nursing experience.

I believe every little one just needs some time to get used to entering the world. Both child and parent need patience and care. I have experience with not only single new borns but also twins and triplets that I can provide references for.
