About Natalie

Hi I'm Natalie! I’m a birth doula and childbirth educator, and my role is to support families through pregnancy and birth, with personal, informed, and practical care. Birth is unpredictable, and many parents enter it unsure of what to expect or how they will handle the intensity of labor. As a doula, I’m there to help you navigate that experience in real time - offering continuous emotional support, practical tools, and a calm presence throughout your birth. I support you with comfort measures, guidance with movement and positioning, and helping you stay grounded as labor progress. My support is flexible - I can be hands-on or more in the background, based on what feels right for you. I also support your partner, giving them clear ways to be involved and confident in how they help you. My approach is to respect and support your choices. I don’t have an agenda for how your birth should look. Whether you’re planning a medicated or unmedicated birth, or your plans change along the way, I’m there to help you feel informed, supported, and able to make decisions that feel right for you. I also help you understand what’s happening during labor and what your options are, so you can feel less overwhelmed and more capable of making an informed decisions. A big part of my support is emotional. Having someone by your side who knows you, understands your preferences, and can help you stay connected to yourself in the moment can make a meaningful difference in how you experience your birth. Ultimately, my role is to walk alongside you, offering reassurance and practical support, so you can move through birth feeling confident and empowered.

I cannot begin to express how amazing Natalie was throughout our journey. Before our first home visit, my husband and I didn't know what to expect when welcoming someone into our home to talk about something so intimate and foreign. Upon meeting Natalie, we felt as though we had been friends for a while and we instantly felt comfortable. Not only did she answer our questions, some far fetched, she also asked us questions that would help prepare us for labor and shared so much knowledge at every visit. I went into labor 8 days early so we missed our last meeting, which would have been preparing for the actual labor. Natalie arrived at the hospital when I was 3cm dilated and ready to go. She followed my birth plan, made sure the nurses and midwife knew what it was and reminded me of my pregnancy affirmations throughout every contraction. Even when I was in pain, she was encouraging and provided different techniques. She never overshadowed my husband and offered suggestions on how he could be helpful as well. We both felt so comfortable having her in the room during such a vulnerable time. Her energy throughout the whole process was amazing and I'm beyond thankful she was a part of my pregnancy journey and couldn't have done this without her.

I wholeheartedly recommend Natalie as a doula. She provides support with sensitivity, professionalism, and a calm, reassuring presence. Natalie knows exactly when to step in, without overwhelming, bringing both confidence and deep knowledge. She combines extensive expertise with attentive listening and genuine emotional and physical support, creating a sense of trust and safety throughout the entire journey—from pregnancy preparation to postpartum. Her guidance allows for a connected, calm, and empowered birthing experience, and she is a true anchor for both the birthing parent and their partner. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula with a big heart, skilled hands, and a presence that brings peace.

We are so happy with our choice to have Natalie assist us with the birth of our baby and sincerely feel we couldn’t have chosen a better Doula to guide us! We interviewed a handful of wonderful Doulas, but what made Natalie outstanding was her calm demeanor, responsible nature and deep sense of knowledge! In choosing a Doula, it was so important that I felt comfortable with her as I would be sharing a very private experience and Natalie’s ability to stay calm made me feel confident that she was who we needed on our team. Natalie is more than just an amazing Doula, she is incredibly compassionate and an expert in guiding you to find the information you need to make the best choices using evidence-based knowledge. She is an incredible ally and an amazing person to talk to. She’s not just passionate about her role as a Doula but is genuinely there for you. I’m so incredibly grateful for Natalie being an instrumental part of our birthing journey and credit her to having the birthing experience we wanted- without a c-section! We wouldn’t hesitate to ask her again if she was available.
