I am a Full Spectrum Birth and Postpartum Doula in Austin, TX trained through Doula Trainings International. I work with families throughout the birth process to create supportive care and systems so you feel empowered and educated throughout the entire birth process, as well as supported and cared for during the postpartum period. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ families and those who are in different stages of the birth process, including miscarriage and loss. Previously, I entered a software engineering career through working to design technologies for individuals with traumatic brain injuries in hospital settings, but after hearing about several friends and family members' birth and doula experiences, I decided I wanted a more caretaking and embodied role in creating equitable change and creating peaceful, embodied, and inclusive experiences for families. Alex Is a certified birth and postpartum doula who completed her training in 2020. She is an Associate doula with Austin Doula Care and is a certified lactation counselor. She is also collaborating with Sarah Johnson who is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. Alex is a native Texan living in East Austin with her husband and spirited daughter. Her own journey navigating through pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience inspired her to purse her passion to assist others during this life-changing time. I’m Jolene, a certified birth doula in South Texas. After 4 hospital births of my own, I wanted to be the support I wish I had. I love supporting first time moms and young moms on their journey so they are set up for success in their future births. My support is about educated, informed, mother-first care. When I’m not doing doula work I am supporting my local community through reproductive justice advocacy, sharing resources and education, and giving back when and where I can.

I am Drea Kelly, the founder of River Wild Doula Services, and I am so happy you're here! I'd love to share a bit of my story in hopes of someday hearing some of yours. ​ It has been my joy and privilege to partner with families as a doula for the past 18 years, serving them as they make some of the biggest transitions in life. I have always known I was called to this work... to hold space in the sacred, in-between places where we are transformed by the rivers running wild through us. It is such an honor to be invited onto this holy ground. ​ I believe parents have innate wisdom and intuition that can and should be trusted as they navigate the myriad of decisions in the childbearing year and beyond.
