I am the founder and creator of Appointed Time Doula Services. I am a graduate of Dona International where I attained my Birth Doula Certification. It is paramount to me that my clients feel as welcome and as cared for as though they were members of my own family, in comparison to being a part of an uncaring system. The most rewarding aspect of my ministry is the opportunity to witness a new life come forth into this world. This priceless moment allows me to develop a unique relationship with each family.

Ms. Robin is an intelligent, inspiring, and God-fearing woman. These traits were important to my wife and I when we were looking for a doula. The greek meaning of doula is a "woman who serves". The orgin of this word exemplifies the heart posture a doula must have. And for me that would be a woman who is God-fearing. Ms. Robin's, spirtual assertiveness is unmatched, but I would be remissed if I did not mention the knowledge and widsom Ms. Robin shared professionally as a doula. During our pregenancy Ms. Robin provided in-person maternal and infant health demonstrations, (which included birthing tutorials, labor preparation, and mental health counseling sessions). Her teaching technique provides a platform to learn. Ms. Robin created a fun and comfortable atmosphere which allowed my wife and I the grace to apply the tools that were taught for our labor and delivery. In our search for a doula, my wife and I were looking for a well-rounded individual, and Ms. Robin provided expertise in serveral categories; health and wellness, financial literarcy, and psychological safety. I would offer my deepest approval and recommendation for Ms. Robin services. Her personality, professionalism, and presence overshadow any doubt, a person may have in the delivery room.

Hi! I'm Abbey. I've been an infant nanny for more than ten years, ranging from full-time to as-needed. Night nannying has been my favorite, and I'm working toward a Newborn Care Specialist credential! I love working with new moms (and dads), comforting the understandable anxiety, trying out new "tricks" and methods for baby's care, and enjoying all the little milestones together as a team. I believe parents know their child best and do my best to follow their lead(s) and needs in addition to baby's. Safety is extremely important to me. I'm vaccinated, I don't smoke/chew, I love dogs and cats, and I have reliable transportation! I am knowledgeable in sleep training and have experience with medically needy, colicky, and gassy babies. I am trained in Infant CPR, First Aid, safe sleep, swaddling techniques, and general feeding protocols (breastmilk and formula). Right now, I also work as a book editor (self-employed). I have a Bachelor's in English and Creative Writing. I'm a big believer in getting to know each other first! Let's meet for coffee, chat on the phone--whatever you'd like! I'm grateful you took the time to read this! :) Abbey

Choosing a doula is about finding someone you feel safe with, supported by, and truly listened to. I believe every family deserves to feel respected, informed, and cared for during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. My goal is to create a calm, steady presence so parents can focus on welcoming their baby with confidence. I am a DONA Certified birth and postpartum doula, a Lactation Specialist, and VBAC certified. I also have training in techniques such as Spinning Babies, the Miles Circuit, and a variety of labor positions and comfort measures that can help support progress and reduce discomfort during labor. My role during birth is to help create a calm environment, offer practical comfort techniques, and support both the birthing person and their partner so they feel informed and empowered throughout the experience. After birth, my focus shifts to helping families rest, recover, and adjust to life with their new baby. Postpartum support can include newborn care guidance, feeding support, emotional encouragement, and helping parents find their rhythm during those early weeks. Every family is different, and I meet people where they are and support them in the ways that feel most helpful to them. I proudly accept Medicaid as well as private pay so that more families can access doula support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Supporting families during this time is truly meaningful work to me, and I feel honored to be invited into such an important moment in people’s lives. When I am not working with families, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and visiting the beach where I love collecting rocks along the shore.

Jamara White

Hi, I’m Jamara — a proud mom of two and a passionate doula who believes every woman deserves to be supported, seen, and empowered during her journey into motherhood. Becoming a mother myself opened my eyes to the emotional, physical, and spiritual strength that birth requires — and the importance of having someone present solely for you. That experience grounded my purpose: to advocate, care, and stand beside women during one of the most sacred transitions of their lives. To me, this is more than a service — it’s heart-filled, purpose-driven work. I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where mothers feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way. Whether it’s offering comfort, guidance, or simply being a steady presence, I am here to advocate for your voice and your birth experience. Your birth. Your story. Your strength. I’m honored to walk this journey with you

Jamara was truly amazing! I mean she was patient, attentive, knowledgeable, kind, etc. I will say there was a never a time I didn’t feel heard as she made sure this was about me and my baby. The times in the hospital if she couldn’t get to me, she called or texted my Mom. You can tell she loves what she does and that is so important these days. I believe her passion will take her so far and I am grateful for her

I'm a career nanny and Newborn Care Specialist with a Master's in Childhood Studies. I'm also currently working towards certification as a post-natal mental health specialist. My approach to working with both parents and children is a calm environment, lots of empathy, and a focus on parental well-being and children's rights. I've primarily worked with children ages newborn to 5 years old, with focused interest in sleep, development, language acquisition, and children's rights- particularly how caregivers can apply the UNCRC to the every day care of children. I've been blessed with some amazing, lovely nanny families throughout my career, and I've had the good fortune to work with both celebrity clients and members of a royal family. I'm very easy-going, I tend to get along with everyone, and I value kindess, tolerance, and communication.

Melissa came to work for us as a maternity nurse for the first few weeks after our daughter arrived, and we loved her so much she came back again a few months later! I was initially unsure of whether I wanted to hire a maternity nurse as I worried about it feeling quite intrusive or feeling like the maternity nurse was 'taking over' the baby. My husband and I agreed there was no harm in interviewing applicants and then if we didn't find anyone suitable, we had our answer. After interviewing several applicants, we'd nearly given up on the idea when the agency suggested one more - Mel. Gosh, I'm so glad they did. In our first introduction over facetime I immediately felt a connection with Mel, so she came to work for us for the first few weeks after our daughter was born, to help us settle in to parenthood. She is kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and appears to have endless patience (for both parents and babies!). She taught us the safest ways to get our daughter to sleep, bath her, change her, how to introduce a bottle, helped with breastfeeding, as well as helping me to figure out which breast pump to buy, how to work it, and sat with me for encouragement at all times. She would remind me when I needed to take my next medication and helped with any household tasks that I couldn't do due to recovery. There wasn't a single area of our lives that she didn't help out with in those first few weeks. I highly recommend Mel to anyone who is considering a maternity nurse. The warm, maternal, supportive energy that she brought into our home at such a vulnerable time was invaluable. She will always have a special place in our family - I just wish she could move in here forever!

As your doula it’s my goal to make sure you have the skills, education and support to make informed decisions on how to birth YOUR way. Certified as a DONA birth/postpartum doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, as well as a certified advanced trained doula & educator in VBaC births, my role is to educate, support and empower every individual and their support partner through their pregnancy, labor and postpartum. I incorporate SpinningBabies methods into my work and provide encouraging, judgment-free and continuous birth support that is unique to each client’s hopes and wants towards a healthy & satisfying birth experience. Some of my professional highlights including being voted a Top Provider in GRKids Best Of GR and serving as director for The Maternal Wellness Program. On the personal side, I am a mom to three amazing children – Malone, Beau & Jocelyn (twins!), and wife to a sweet “Kentucky Boy”. My introduction to motherhood was challenging. I struggled with infertility, postpartum depression/anxiety and a difficult first birth. All these moments in my life set me on my path and passion for birth & postpartum support, and maternal mental health.

I had a really wonderful experience working with Carrie and Hannah. Our intro call was very helpful to determine if we were a good fit and the process of getting signed up was easy. I decided to take the birth course offered by Ginger Blossom and was able to meet with Carrie and Hannah in my home. It was very informative and they were both approachable, warm, encouraging, supportive, felt like new friends while also being professional. They were prompt in answering any questions I had via text. During labor, Carrie was helpful talking to both me and my husband on the phone over a day and an half while I was waiting for labor to progress further until we made the decision for her to come in for in-person support. Carrie was a great support in-person as well- to both me and my husband. I was so glad to have Carrie on my team while I had my first baby. Would highly recommend exploring Ginger Blossom for your doula services.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Bri and Randi during our pregnancy and the birth of our daughter in January 2026. I hadn’t originally been set on having doula support, but it was strongly encouraged by the midwives at our birth center, so we started researching. I’m so, so thankful that The Nurturing Company was one of the business cards I picked up. From the moment I visited their website, reached out, and began communicating with them, the decision was made. The warmth and love that came across just from their website and our virtual interactions pale in comparison to the support and care we received in person. We chose the Birth Support and Photography package and couldn’t be happier with what we received. Having both Randi and Bri at our prenatal visits felt like an even greater advantage—we had two brains to pick, two perspectives to hear, and two experienced mothers to look to as we prepared for this huge change in our lives. The group chat where I could ask them any questions that came to mind during pregnancy and postpartum felt like a group chat with my very own big sisters. Randi hiked out in the snow and took the most ethereal winter maternity photos for us. Bri was on call when I went into labor, and she truly went above and beyond for us. She was with us from our home to the birth center and back again when labor stalled. She even rode in the ambulance with me after our daughter’s birth when we had to be transferred to the hospital for an emergency D&C to remove my placenta. Her constant support was incredibly reassuring. My husband and I truly don’t know how we would have done it without her. The Birth Story Photo reveal at 6 weeks with snacks and hugs was the most healing and wonderful “ending” to this specific experience. And we’re so thankful that they are now a part of our village and community moving forward. Bri and Randi at The Nurturing Company are the beautiful, gilded picture frame around our birth experience. We could not recommend them enough.

I can’t say enough about Nora’s competence, generosity, warmth, and kindness. I reached out to Nora when I was 20 weeks pregnant looking to relocate to the area. I was hoping, as a Doula, she could help me understand prenatal care and birth options available. She exceeded all expectations. Her guidance had both breadth and depth. She respected all of my personal preferences. She helped me find my full stack of care providers. Every midwife, nurse, chiropractor, physical therapist, massage therapist, etc that I met had a strong relationship with her and a deep and profound respect for her and her work. I was afraid to give birth in a hospital but that’s where I had to be because of transferring care so late in pregnancy. Nora surrounded me by a moat of providers that respected my wishes and I had a beautiful home birth in a hospital.
