The cost of a night nanny in Powder Springs, GA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Powder Springs, GA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. Hey! I'm Nandi, and supporting families during their birthing journeys is not just my profession, it’s my calling. My passion for birth work stems from witnessing the strength and resilience of birthing people and my desire to create spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered. I’ve had the honor of working as a doula in various settings, from hospitals like Wellstar to community-based programs like Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies, home-births and birth centers. Each experience has deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care that honors each family’s unique story. Here’s what you can expect when we work together: - Connection: I take the time to get to know you and your family, so I can support your physical, emotional, and informational needs. - Advocacy: Whether it's navigating hospital policies or exploring comfort techniques, I ensure you feel confident and supported every step of the way. - Holistic Care: As a certified yoga instructor specializing in prenatal yoga, I incorporate movement and mindfulness to help you feel calm and prepared. One of my most meaningful experiences was supporting women in recovery through Motherhood Beyond Bars, where I saw how vital nurturing care and a nonjudgmental presence can be. That philosophy guides me every day. I am trained as a Full Spectrum and Abortion Doula, so I can support you through any reproductive health journey with respect and compassion. Birth is unpredictable, but my goal is always the same: to help you feel empowered, informed, and cared for, no matter what. If you’re looking for a doula who will listen deeply, support you fully, and celebrate your strength, I’d love to connect with you.

I met Nandi at a Prenatal Yoga class in Atlanta and was instantly comfortable with her guidance. Her approach is individualized and intentional. She is very knowledgeable about pregnancy and birth, and truly cares for those she works with. After the class, she checked in with my partner and I, and scheduled an at-home visit to further our session. This at-home visit was so hands-on, inclusive, and beyond helpful! She left us with so much information and techniques that helped me have such an easy third trimester and a beautiful natural birth. Nandi is the truth!

I am a full-spectrum doula committed to supporting the whole family — mother, baby, and partner — through every stage of this journey. Too often, families are sent home after birth and expected to figure it out alone. That can feel overwhelming and isolating. I believe you deserve more than that. You deserve education, support, and a community around you. When I say “village,” I mean real, practical support. You will know how to feed, rest, recover, and adjust as a family. You will understand what is happening in your body, what your baby needs, and what to expect during each stage. My role is not to rescue you. My role is to equip you. I provide tools, education, and steady guidance so you can make informed choices with confidence. I believe birth is powerful. A mother’s body carries wisdom. My goal is to help you trust that wisdom while fully understanding your options. I also support partners and fathers intentionally. I help them understand how to support mom physically and emotionally. I prepare them for the changes that may show up for them too — stress, exhaustion, uncertainty, or feeling unsure of their role. I help them feel confident, involved, and connected during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I am currently completing my certification through the Georgia Black Doula Network, strengthening my training in culturally competent, evidence-based support. I am passionate about advocating for healthy mothers and babies and strengthening Black families. I offer: Prenatal education and preparation Labor support Postpartum support Pregnancy and postpartum meal planning Cooking classes for growing families You do not have to walk this journey alone. Let’s prepare your family for a supported, informed, and confident birth experience.

I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am for her as my doula. From pregnancy to postpartum, she was a steady, calming presence during one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life. My pregnancy was high-risk and emotionally overwhelming at times, and she never once made me feel alone. She advocated for me, educated me, reassured me, and reminded me of my strength when I struggled to see it myself. During labor and delivery, she was everything — supportive, knowledgeable, attentive, and intuitive. She created such a safe space for me to feel heard and empowered in my birth experience. When my baby needed NICU care, she continued to show up for me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. She checked in, offered resources, and made sure I was cared for too — not just physically, but emotionally. Postpartum can be isolating, but having her in my corner made all the difference. She normalized my feelings, helped me process everything, and reminded me that I am doing an incredible job as a mother. If you are considering hiring a doula, please don’t hesitate. She is compassionate, professional, incredibly skilled, and truly called to this work. I would choose her again a thousand times over.

An Incredibly Positive and Blessed Experience with Abbie! As a first time mom, I cannot speak highly enough about the support and care I received from Abbie. From our very first meeting, it was clear that she was not only knowledgeable and experienced but also deeply compassionate. She took the time to get to know our preferences, answer all of our questions, and make sure we felt comfortable and supported throughout my entire pregnancy journey. She was great with communication and provided us with resources throughout pregnancy for birth prep. When labor came, Abbie was calm, present, and prepared. She gave us reassurance and confidence in our birth plan/decisions throughout, while respecting the space and prioritizing baby's health. She was present throughout all of labor (A LONG TIME) and was able to help me try different positions, offer hands on support and holistic pain relief strategies, prayer, Bible verses, positive affirmations and encouraged me to eat & drink. Her presence made all the difference—I felt empowered and confident knowing she was there advocating for me and my baby. What truly stands out about Abbie is her ability to create a warm, non-judgmental space, no matter what the circumstances, and her shared faith which allowed me to open up and feel comfortable having her at my birth. She was prepared during the labor process and helped my husband and I feel confident. Thanks to her support and expertise, I felt so much more prepared for the challenges of labor and postpartum. I couldn’t have asked for a better doula, and I highly recommend her to anyone. I also want to share that I originally was skeptical of having a doula, but after many prayers I am so grateful we found Abbie and had her support during my unmedicated birth. God is good! Thank you, Abbie, for being such a vital part of our birth story and for helping us bring our baby girl into this world!

We were lucky enough to have Leah as our night nurse for six months, starting from the very first night we brought our son home from the hospital. From day one, she brought such a calm, reassuring presence into our home—and we instantly trusted her. Leah is incredibly knowledgeable and was a steady guide for us as first-time parents. She helped our son develop a strong, consistent schedule (both day and night), which made a huge difference for everyone’s sleep and sanity. She was also an amazing resource for postpartum support—always ready with thoughtful advice and encouragement when we needed it most. In addition, Leah is flexible and truly does her best to accommodate any schedule changes. She always made us feel like our family’s well-being was her top priority. Our baby absolutely adored her and gravitated toward her from the beginning. Leah made a meaningful impact on our family, and we’re so grateful for the care and peace of mind she gave us. If you’re considering night support for your newborn, I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Being a doula brings me so much joy and I love what I do! Assisting in this beautiful experience, as a guide while you deliver a complex being into this realm is my passion. Within my Haitian culture, I have learn so much about the process of taking care of a woman’s body, especially during pregnancy and birth. Haiti really emphasizes in womb healing, and being surrounded by the women of the village during this intimate moment. I provide physical, emotional, mental, and informational support, to women and their partners. I make sure that you and your partner are confident enough to be your own advocates to ensure a positive birth experience. This is my true purpose.

As soon as I met Mislene, I knew she was the right fit for me and my birth. I immediately connected with her and felt comfortable. I loved that I could be myself and express my needs. She was knowledgeable from the jump and constantly empowered me and my decision making. She provided me with lots of education and techniques to help me progress. During pregnancy she was responsive and I felt supported knowing she was accessible. I had a few false alarms and she helped me navigate those until I was able to really know the real thing. The day I went into labor she came right away and made sure my labor environment was peaceful/ comfortable. She worked alongside the nurses/ doctors advocating and guiding me. The most memorable moment with her was when I started to panic when getting my epidural and she held me and helped me stay calm. Also, after my birth she visited me and helped me reflect on what all happened and checked on me and baby. I definitely recommend her and feel that her doula services made a difference. Thank you so much for being apart of this life changing experience with me.

Soulex the Doula has been incredible in mine and my child’s life. I wanted to leave a shining review but struggled even capturing the positive impact of my time with Soulex the Doula, in words. I really hope I do justice to what this time meant to me. Alexus post-partum doula support was life altering in the most vulnerable time I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had 2 children and only worked with Lex with my first born. Let me just say, her energy was deeply missed the second time around. I live in a different state now but at the time, Lex did SO MUCH. She helped with nursing, even in the middle of the night for my exclusively breast fed baby, she would stay over to make sure I had the most restful night I could. The baby would wake, and Lex would wake pick her up and latch her to my nipple while I rest, leaving me virtually undisturbed. Lex changed night diapers, and would rock my daughter back to sleep while I slept. During the day visits, Lex would take care of baby while I got time for ME. I could shower, get ready, and feel beautiful in such a strange time. Lex gave me support with getting back in connection with my body through movement with dance and stretching practices. I would have NEVER known this was meaningful work, otherwise. Lex also gave a lot of spiritual guidance and support as a medium while I was personally going through the shifts from new motherhood. She would clean my home, help me organize, or rearrange on a whim. It was nothing short of magical, and genuinely felt like I had a little fairy god mother around the house doing things without me even having to think about it - let alone lift a finger. The bond I watched her grow with my daughter at 4 months old was incredibly special. And now, as a 7 year old, they still stay in touch. We love you, Lex and you really feel like a part of the family for life. Thank you for you’re love, your care, your intention, your intuition, and your raw passion for what you do. From the bottom of my heart, Qui.

Lauren is amazing! She helped me build my birth plan and was able to bring her own experience and knowledge to help me make educated decisions. I ended up having to be medically induced early, and she talked through my birth plan with me again and helped me make adjustments. Day of, it was SO helpful to have her in the room to talk through decisions because the midwife was giving recommendations to change my birth plan, and it was so helpful to have a third party person who was educated in L&D to be able to talk this through with and come to the best conclusion for me. In the midst of giving birth, she was so helpful, attending to our every need. Because we had met ahead of time and she really took the time to get to know my goals and desires, she was able to advocate for me. I had precipitous labor, so things escalated quickly. At one point, my midwife asked me a question about pain meds that needed an immediate response. I was mid-contraction and unable to speak, but Lauren jumped in with no hesitation and communicated exactly what I wanted to say! She was also able to help keep my husband calm and engaged during our baby’s birth, and even he said he was so thankful Lauren was there with us! I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to anyone interested in hiring a doula!
