I have always been fascinated and humbled by the birthing process since working at a Maternity Hospital in Nepal many years ago, when I was a medical student in the UK. It revealed to me how essential compassionate support is during this rite of passage. I have worked as a baby nurse for over 25 years and I enjoy helping new parents make the transition into parenthood, by teaching them how to care for the new addition to their family. I have the knowledge and training needed to educate new parents on how to care for their newborn by teaching them how to feed, bath and put babies down for naptime. I can help parents organize the nursery to make things more convenient and easier to handle. I am highly trained to take care of twins or even triplets, so parents with multiple newborns are not so overwhelmed and stressed.
