I loved having Annie as my doula! As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions regarding my health and how to prepare for labor and delivery. Annie took her time to meet with me multiple times, and would make herself available to me for phone calls for random questions I had. She really gave me peace of mind having someone to talk to that is experienced in pregnancy and birth. I also had gestational diabetes and lots of pelvic pain during my pregnancy, and Annie's knowledge in physical training helped me so much to know what exercises to do for both conditions. She met with my husband and I to prepare us for labor, and coach him on what he could do to alleviate my pain. During labor and delivery she was readily available and now I have a beautiful healthy baby girl!

Hi, I'm Rochelle! ** I am live scan fingerprinted & background checked with clearance as the DOJ Custodian of Records for my job outside of being a birth doula. Those records are available upon request. *** I'm a mom to three amazing kids, ages 20, 13, and 8, which means I'm living in ALL the seasons of motherhood at once! From college to junior high and elementary school, life is full, fun, and always keeping me on my toes. My love for birth started when I was just 12 years old and witnessed my first baby being born. That experience stayed with me and sparked a passion I've carried ever since. After years of supporting women through birth, I became a trained birth doula three years ago, and I'm now working toward becoming a childbirth educator and lactation consultant. My doula style is laid-back, encouraging, and rooted in education, open communication, and a little humor! I've supported all types of births, and one thing I believe strongly is that your birth isn't about me, my preferences, or my convictions. It's about YOU. I'm 100% committed to respecting your values, choices, and wishes, whatever those look like. My role is to help you feel informed, prepared, and confident while creating the safe, compassionate, and supportive birth environment you envision. My husband and I have nothing but incredible things to say about Rochelle with Crowning Achievement! Having her as our doula meant we were educated on all things birth throughout pregnancy, she'd be with us to support our "birth plan," and she'd be equipped to help guide us through any unforeseen changes throughout labor & delivery. With our dream unmedicated birth now behind us, her knowledge and experience really is priceless and I can't imagine ever going through labor and delivery again without her! She supported me physically through various coping methods, mentally/emotionally by being a strong and safe figure, and she even helped guide my husband who received a lot of coaching for how to support me best. My husband says it wouldn't have been the same experience and we wouldn't have been able to go unmedicated like we did without her - I second that! She spent so much time learning about me and my preferences to know exactly what I needed in the moment and did the best job at keeping communication open throughout labor. She was also the best bridge between us and the hospital staff and they also raved about her which was really awesome to hear! If you're wanting to learn more about doula support during birth, do not hesitate to reach out to Rochelle for even just an introductory call! She's truly the WHOLE package and we get to look back on how empowered, calm, and dare I even say "light-hearted" our birth was largely because of Rochelle. Like I said, nothing but incredible things to say. 10/10!!

Hiring an overnight doula from Peaceful Passages was one of the best decisions I made for my postpartum recovery. Not only did my doula lovingly care for me and my newborn, she went above and beyond—prepping nourishing meals, providing breastfeeding support, organizing the baby’s nursery, and even helping with my twin toddlers so I could rest. Her calm, professional presence made my healing after a c-section so much easier. I was especially impressed by how seamless everything was—she was professionally dressed, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. On top of that, Peaceful Passages accepted my Carrot insurance and handled all the billing with ease, which lifted such a burden off my shoulders. This service was truly a lifesaver for me and my family. I felt cared for, supported, and able to focus on bonding with my baby. I can’t recommend their overnight doula services enough!

Hi, I’m Melanie Powell—certified doula, childbirth educator, author of From Fear to First Cry, and the founder of both Little Flower Birth Services and the non-profit Under His Wings Collective. As a mother myself, I know firsthand that bringing a child into the world is one of the most profound, transformative journeys you will ever take. But I also know it can bring up deep questions, past fears, and medical anxieties. That is why my life’s work is dedicated to walking beside women and their partners, ensuring you never have to navigate the medical landscape alone. Through Little Flower Birth Services, my practice is rooted in three core pillars: Advocacy to help your partner step into their role as your protector, Sanctuary to guard your peace with a protective "Baby Bubble," and Autonomy to honor your God-given intuition through a trauma-informed framework. Whether I'm teaching evidence-based physiological birth classes, coaching partners in our signature advocacy workshops, or offering quiet, steadfast support in the delivery room, my goal is to transform your anxieties into your greatest strengths. Beyond my private practice, my heart for community led me to establish Under His Wings Collective—a non-profit initiative dedicated to expanding access to sliding-scale and free childbirth education, alongside trauma-informed virtual doula support (such as our Virtual Bloom Package) for Medicaid-eligible, low-income, and high-anxiety mothers who deserve dedicated care regardless of circumstance. When I’m not supporting families across the DFW Metroplex, leading virtual education cohorts, or advocating through the collective, you can usually find me baking something nourishing for loved ones or cherishing quiet moments with my daughter. You deserve to enter your birth room feeling strong, informed, and deeply supported. I would be honored to walk this sacred journey with you.

What made us choose Melanie as our birth doula for our first birth experience was the fact that she was Catholic and she offered a lot in her birth package. She was extremely helpful all throughout my pregnancy, especially on the day of my delivery. She helped us map out a birth plan and she did a great job educating us. During my labor, Melanie coached me through exercises she prepped us with to deal with the contractions. After I got my epidural, I was still experiencing pain on my right side. Melanie spent hours lightly shaking the area to get my daughter to move. It really helped me deal with the pain. She also helped the nurse with getting my daughter to turn face down to prepare for birth. Melanie offered me the comfort and support I needed in the last hours of my labor. Because of her support, my husband was able to get some extra sleep so he could be present with me and available post-birth. I would strongly recommend Melanie as a doula.

As a first-time mother, I faced a challenging journey—from navigating early trimester symptoms to the uncertainty of labor and delivery. I had the privilege of connecting with a doula, and I was truly honored to have Breana by my side throughout every stage of my pregnancy. Hello, I'm Cierria Leyazhié or you may call me Apache, and I believe birth is one of God’s most beautiful and sacred calls. My passion is supporting mothers not just through the physical act of labor, but through the profound spiritual and energetic transformation it demands. My approach is built on three distinct pillars: Pillar 1: Christ-Centered Care & Hypnobirthing: I equip you with Scriptural affirmations, prayerful grounding techniques, and Christian Hypnobirthing methods—helping you replace fear and tension with profound relaxation and faith, working toward a gentler, less painful birth experience. Pillar 2: Ayurvedic Wisdom & Doula Training: My commitment to holistic health is backed by rigorous education from the Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS), where I earned certifications as an Ayurvedic Wellness Educator and Ayurvedic Health Practitioner. I then completed my full-spectrum doula training with the Sankofa Birthing Collective. I guide mothers toward balanced health, focusing heavily on Vata-pacifying principles—the ancient practice of using warmth, nourishment, and deep rest for true physical and nervous system recovery during the crucial 42-day postpartum period. Pillar 3: Advanced Lactation & Education: As a Certified Lactation Educator who is actively working to complete requirements to become an IBCLC, I provide high-level, up-to-date, evidence-based childbirth and feeding education, ensuring you have the practical tools and specialized knowledge necessary for an empowered birth and a successful breastfeeding start. Whether through Ayurvedic food guidance, gentle herbal recommendations, or prayerful presence, I am here to help you experience a birth that is peaceful, powerful, and deeply honoring of your body and your faith. A Holistic Approach to Your Fourth Trimester Whether it is through preparing Ayurvedic "warm-natured" meals, providing gentle herbal recommendations, or offering a prayerful presence, I am here to ensure your postpartum period is a time of deep rest rather than depletion. I am dedicated to helping you experience a birth and recovery that is peaceful, powerful, and deeply honoring of your body and your faith.

This was my third pregnancy/birth but my first time having a doula and I could not imagine a better person for the job! I enjoy how easy it was to work with Cierria on not only what I'd desire to have for pregnancy but also the assurance if things went differently than planned. She keeps it realistic while also respecting your choices and is a powerhouse in advocating for her clients while striving to encourage working in tandem with your doctor/care team, not against them. It was very much appreciated when I was feeling vulnerable. This time around postpartum has been way easier to adjust too as well as I've had breastfeeding support, dietary recommendations based on my unique recovery and goals, tips for physical recovery and she's always left room to adjust any of this and is a great chatter. Sometimes you just want to vent with no actual goal and she's all for it. I've had such a blast with the whole experience that a fourth child might be possible with her as my doula again haha!

Let me just say—it was truly a blessing to have found Reihaneh (Rey) Hadipour to support us on our newborn journey. From day one, she was an incredible help, especially for a first-time mom. Whether it was guiding us through different feeding positions, showing us how to bathe the baby, gently clipping those delicate little nails, or offering countless other thoughtful services, Rey brought both care and confidence to every moment. She comes with a wealth of experience and is truly a compassionate, skilled professional. We’re so grateful for her support during such a special and tender time in our lives

I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. I look forward getting to know you and building a trusting relationship to where you feel 100% comfortable having me by your side for one of the biggest days of your life. 🙂 I am here for you! A calling that has been nurtured for 32 years. I began my career with children as a teenage babysitter. I have been fascinated by child development since I was little more than a child myself. Arriving in the USA in 1991 from Barranquilla, Colombia I was immediately employed by Universal Studios Child Care Center. This experience offered a wide range of infants to care for and deepened my desire to advance in my calling as a childcare specialist. It was in my interactions with various parents that I soon realized how what came naturally to me was frightening to some. In a very short time, parents were asking me to provide services outside of the care center. I was helping with establishing baby sleep schedules, nighttime care and creating baby routines for families. In 1998 I had met my birthing doula trainer and mentor Carmen of Gyntle Touch Birth. At Carmen’s recommendation I also became a certified massage therapist from Touch Therapy Institute. Immediately I offered my time as a birthing and prenatal doula to help low-income unwed mothers. This was my way of giving back in gratitude of my being able to pursue my life’s purpose and obtain a vast amount of experience with a diverse group of mothers. Over the last 32 years I have worked with hundreds of families, from birthing babies, preparing hospital care routines and directives, setting up nursery supplies, prenatal doula, lactation coach, night care, postpartum care, pregnancy and baby massage. Along the way I married and was blessed to deliver my own two children, with my mentor Carmen presiding as my birthing doula. A not so well-kept secret is that my husband and I are gourmet chefs, an additional service many families are excited to have made available to them. I consider myself truly blessed in that I am able to share in the most important part of a family. Incredibly, many of the children I have had a hand in raising continue to contact me throughout their life. I have had the wonderfully good fortune to attend many, confirmations, bar & bat mitzvahs, graduations from elementary, Jr. High, High School, College and recently my first Graduate school ceremony. I respect privacy and discretion, am able to travel, provide meal preparation and offer household management services.

We found Diana through Doulas of OC. She served as our birth doula as well as a postpartum night doula. During the interview, I immediately felt like she'd be a great fit for our family. As a first time mom I wanted someone with lots of experience and Diana came with so much! She came to the house for several prenatal visits to go over my birth preferences as well as provide education, and help prepare me - mentally and physically. She was so helpful in days leading up to delivery when I had questions I could text her or call her. Once my water broke she quickly came to the hospital and was with us until we were ready to go down to the Mother a baby unit. She was another set of ears and eyes during my birth that was amazing to have for me and my partner. Postpartum night visits were incredibly valuable. For helping ensure that my daughter was latching properly, to grabbing me snacks from the fridge in the middle of the night. She was amazing. And our baby now sleeps through the night which she started to do almost by 1 mo; I credit Diana for a lot of the legwork that helped our daughter gain the skills to do that. And she remains in touch which is wonderful. If we have a second baby, Diana will be on speed dial again. If you are able to use Diana you will not be disappointed.

Asia's hope is to empower, inspire, and support women to achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.

I have worked closely with Asia for many years and in some very high-intensity, high-performing situations. While I may not have hired her as my doula on account of not being pregnant (because I'm a male) I can definitely recommend her on a professional level. Asia is a very positive and confident person, an intuitive listener, and a selfless caregiver. She is very knowledgeable and is able to deliver quality care and anticipate your needs. She is the type of person I refer my expecting patients to, and the right one for the job of helping you welcome your newest one into the world. I recommend Asia without any reservation or hesitation to anyone in the greater Austin area looking for a competent and confidence-instilling doula!
