Hi, I’m Shannon! I have over 15 years of childcare experience, including the past 5 years specializing as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula. Supporting families during the newborn stage is truly my passion, and I feel honored to help parents navigate one of the biggest transitions of their lives. I believe every family is unique, so I take the time to understand your parenting style, goals, and routines in order to provide personalized, evidence-based support. Whether it’s establishing healthy sleep foundations, supporting feeding, or simply giving parents the confidence to enjoy their new baby, my goal is to make the newborn transition as smooth and stress-free as possible. Families describe me as calm, patient, dependable, and proactive. I strive to create a peaceful environment where parents feel supported and babies feel safe, loved, and understood. I look forward to becoming a trusted member of your family’s support team and helping you navigate this exciting new chapter with confidence.

I have been dedicated to women’s health since the beginning of my public health journey. When I began university, I started volunteering with the Women's Resource Center on campus. This allowed me to plan events and educate students about sexual health and wellness. I was later hired on as a sexual violence educator as well. I was on the pre-medicine track, but realized that my true passions were helping improve health outcomes for people. I decided to get my Master's of Public Health at Boston University. Through the program, I dedicated a lot of my time to researching maternal health outcomes, especially for women of color. I have been fortunate to be able to use my passions for reproductive justice in my research at Boston Medical Center. Much of my work focuses on family planning and health disparities in repro spaces. In my work, I have been fortunate to work with amazing birth workers, which inspired my own doula journey. Birth should be an empowering and liberating experience for families, and I strive for this in my doula work. My approach is completely client-centered so that clients can feel supported and advocated for during their process. When I'm not engaged in birth work, I enjoy cooking, reading, and playing with my fur baby, Fezzik. My ultimate goal is to become a midwife so that I can continue centering reproductive justice in my work.

It's said that breastfeeding a baby is the most natural thing in the world, but it doesn't always come naturally. Like many new parents, I experienced a few challenges while breastfeeding my own children. I want to help others avoid or overcome similar difficulties, if possible. The nursing dyad is such a special relationship and I want as many people as possible to get a chance to experience it. Here in America, lactation consultants are often the only health professional visiting a new family in their home, and sometimes we are the only health care worker seeing a new mom in the first six weeks postpartum. I feel really lucky to be one of the first people to meet the new baby! An IBCLC is a unique professional for your family's unique needs. We are small parts sister, friend, nurse, doula, nutritionist, therapist, parenting coach, biology teacher, and detective! We are an important part of your postpartum support system!

Hi, we are Anna and Ashley, Registered Nurses specializing in High Risk Obstetrics and founders Of Birth Savvy LLC. Meet Ashley RN, BSN My career began in pediatric primary care and community health, but my true passion led me to Labor & Delivery in 2015. For several years, I worked at one of Boston’s top institutions, caring for high-risk and critically ill birthing patients. I was driven to expand my expertise beyond the delivery room—supporting families holistically throughout their entire pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. In 2021, I transitioned into Maternal Fetal Medicine, deepening my knowledge of complex pregnancies and high-risk care. My mission is to provide a culturally competent, integrated approach that nurtures both physical and emotional well-being. Beyond my professional experience, I’ve personally navigated a high-risk pregnancy and birth—a journey that sparked my Aha! moment: knowledge, paired with unwavering support, is the true key to empowerment in the perinatal and postpartum experience. That realization led me to create Birth Savvy, because every birthing person deserves high-quality education, autonomy, and confidence. I mix humor, encouragement, and real talk to help parents connect mind and body, fuel inner strength, and embrace birth without fear. I’m a Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner, Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor, and trained in perinatal mental health. When I’m not empowering families, you’ll find me traveling, watching action movies, enjoying great food, listening to music, and, of course, being a mom! Meet Anna RN, MSN I’m Anna, a dedicated OB nurse with over 13 years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, abortion care, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. My passion for childbirth started early, inspired by my grandmother’s stories shared around the dinner table. From the moment I stepped into nursing, I knew supporting families through pregnancy and birth was my calling. Beyond hospital-based care, I earned a Master’s in Public Health and worked in community health, providing vital reproductive care and family planning services. As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner, and Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) specialist, I bring a holistic and evidence-based approach to every birth experience. My goal is to help families feel calm, confident, and in control, no matter their journey. I founded Birth Savvy because the greatest joy in my career has been guiding parents toward empowered, informed choices—no matter how complex their situation may be. When I’m not working, you’ll find me cooking, traveling, re-learning piano, or tackling endless home improvement projects!

Hello! My name is Amalia Ali and I am currently taking clients seeking Birth and Postpartum Doula Services. My care is centered around holistic practices in order to improve birth and postpartum outcomes for expecting mamas!

Hi everyone! I am a double certified Newborn Care Specialist (through CACHE) and Postpartum Doula (through CAPPA) that has been working exclusively with newborns since 2018. I absolutely love what I do and treat each of my clients with love as I would my own baby. I provide overnight care, 24/7 live-in care, and daytime doula/nanny shifts. I've just moved back to Boston and am looking to fill my 2027 calendar!

Birth is not something I view as a medical event to be managed — it’s a profound, transformative rite of passage. I believe women are far stronger than our culture gives them credit for, and my role as a doula is not to “save” or direct you, but to protect your space, guard your autonomy, and remind you of your own power when things feel intense. I had a home birth myself, and that experience deeply shaped how I see birth: as something instinctive, sacred, and worthy of respect — whether it unfolds at home, in a birth center, or in a hospital. I support families who want evidence-based information without fear-based pressure. I believe informed consent matters. I believe your intuition matters. And I believe the hands attending your birth should feel steady, calm, and safe. My approach is grounding, honest, and deeply supportive — I will meet you exactly where you are, without judgment, and help you feel confident walking into your birth knowing you are prepared, supported, and never alone.

Plain and simple: I love all things pregnancy! After working in the music industry for nearly ten years, I experienced a deep and abrupt shift in my life trajectory upon becoming pregnant. Prior to my pregnancy, I had already declared my path of Maternal & Neonatal Health in my DrPH program, but experiencing the true miracle we call life confirmed that Maternal & Neonatal Health are in fact a huge part of my purpose, even so much so that I was willing to partially cut ties with the music business to fulfill this duty. That’s why and how I’m here for you today — I truly believe I was called to do this work. I’ve always had an interest in the unknowns of pregnancy. I was born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia, and have lived my life with a star-shaped G-tube patch and midline incision scar that represent the intersectionality of pregnancy, what can go wrong and how we can fix it. And upon marrying my husband, a heart transplant recipient, I became even more enthralled by the specialty of disease prevention in infants. Many wonder why I took the DrPH path as opposed to a traditional MD degree, and the truth is that nothing I’ve ever done in my life was conventional. It is my belief that addressing Maternal & Neonatal Health issues from the standpoint of public health practice is not only effective, but is also fulfilling. As a public health practitioner, I address the risks and patterns of pregnancy complications as a population-wide problem. I’m not a medical doctor because I am not interested in treating these conditions: I am a public health doctor because I am committed to preventing them altogether.

I am a dedicated Newborn Care Specialist with over 15 years of experience as a Medical Assistant at Boston Children’s Hospital, with the majority of my career spent supporting newborns and families in the NICU. I provide calm, compassionate care while helping parents feel confident and supported during the early newborn stage. My approach focuses on safe sleep practices, feeding support, newborn development, and establishing healthy routines—always tailored to each family’s unique needs. I pride myself on building trusting relationships and creating a nurturing, peaceful environment for both baby and parents.

Hi, I'm Meghan Nichols- mom, birth doula and founder of The Dorchester Doula Collective. My passion for all things birth began while preparing for conception and pregnancy with my son. What started as light reading quickly turned into a deep dive into physiology and evidence based birth, and I completely fell in love with the beauty, strength and transformative nature of pregnancy and birth. My goal as a doula is to help my clients feel empowered in their birth choices so they can experience a supported and deeply satisfying birth. To support that journey, I provide foundation education, connect clients with providers and resources that nurture both physical and mental well-being, and help women cultivate confidence in their own strength, intuition and capabilities as they prepare for motherhood. I believe birth has the ability to unlock a woman's strength in the most profound way, and I feel deeply honored to support women as they step into motherhood with confidence, knowledge, and trust in themselves.

Hello! I am an experienced newborn care specialist, postpartum doula and sleep consultant.

I’ve spent more than 15 years supporting families through birth, postpartum recovery, and overnight newborn care. I began my career as a professional nanny, working closely with more than a dozen children over several years. In 2008, I was honored to be recognized as Nanny of the Year by Family Helpers, and the following year I was selected as a finalist to appear on ABC’s America’s Supernanny. In 2009, I trained as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. Around the same time, I became a parent myself. Experiencing the postpartum period firsthand gave me a deeper understanding of how vulnerable, complex, and important those early weeks can be. That experience ultimately shaped my decision to focus my work on supporting families during birth and the transition home with a new baby. Over the years, I have attended 112 births and supported more than 200 families, including 39 sets of twins, through postpartum and overnight newborn care. As my private practice grew, I founded Nightingale Night Nurses, an overnight newborn care agency based in Massachusetts. Through that work, I built and led a team of experienced Postpartum Doulas, Newborn Care Specialists, and nurses, creating individualized care plans for families seeking overnight and extended newborn support. Building on that foundation, I later expanded the work nationally under the name Well Supported Family, with a continued focus on ethical practices, professional sustainability, and high-quality, family-centered care. We would love the opportunity to support your family's postpartum experience.

I am a CAPPA certified postpartum doula offering overnight support in Central Massachusetts. Please take a look at my website for more details about me and what I do :)

Hello, my name is Lauren and I am a birth and postpartum doula as well as bereavement. I am also a new parent educator and a childbirth educator. I love working with families and all aspects of preparing for your childbirth journey. I also have experience with Nicu postpartum care.

I’m Sara, a holistic fertility and birth practitioner supporting women through preconception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the profound transition into motherhood. My background blends fertility and holistic health training, nutrition, nervous system regulation, yoga, functional wellness, quantum biology, and circadian health, with a deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom. My work is also shaped by lived experience. Including pregnancy loss, IVF, medically complex pregnancies and births, and postpartum recovery, which has given me a deeply personal understanding of how much compassionate, informed support matters. I take a whole person approach to care, integrating physical, emotional, energetic, and environmental wellness, and I am currently continuing my education through holistic midwifery training.

Hi, I’m Gabby and I would love to help you on this adventure of parenthood. I am following the footsteps of my aunt who is a doula and has dedicated her life to new mothers. I have a bachelors in healthcare administration with a focus on women’s health. I have worked with the public for over 10 years. I was a lifeguard for 6 years and that transitioned to the healthcare field which I have been in for the last 5 years. I have always found ways to integrate myself in the pregnancy world, I have worked on labor and delivery units in hospitals, and in an OB/GYN clinic. I have helped friends and family postpartum with their new bundles of joy adapt to this new life. I would love to help you too. I have learned tips and tricks through my experience in the pregnancy world and would love to share them with you. I believe knowledge is strength, and I am here to equip you with the best knowledge I have so you have confidence to succeed in this new journey in your life.

My work is rooted in a genuine love for cooking and the way food can support someone during a time of recovery. I’ve always been drawn to warm, comforting meals and the traditions behind them, especially those that focus on nourishment, digestion, and rebuilding energy. After my own postpartum experience, I saw how much of that support is often missing once you come home. Even simple things like having a warm meal ready or a moment to sit and breathe can feel hard to come by and that stayed with me. Now, I prepare nourishing meals ahead of time and bring them ready for you, so you don’t have to think about what to eat while you’re recovering. While you take that time to eat or rest, I take care of the kitchen, laundry, and the small day to day things that can quickly build up, so your space feels steady and cared for. I’m especially drawn to this stage of life because it’s both beautiful and demanding, and I value being able to support families in a way that feels calm, practical, and genuinely helpful.

Founded in 2025, Blooming Bonds was created with one clear mission: to provide exceptional, nurturing postpartum and newborn care that supports families during their most vulnerable and beautiful moments. We are committed to helping babies thrive and ensuring parents feel confident, supported, and well-rested as they bond and grow together. Behind Blooming Bonds is my 14 years of experience working with children—including caring for over 400 little ones—and 3 years dedicated specifically to newborn care. I am a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula, CPR and First Aid certified, and fully vaccinated. With a degree in Psychology focused on child development and extensive experience in gentle sleep conditioning and training, I bring both expertise and compassion to every family I serve. Night care, in particular, has become a passion of mine, as it allows me to help new parents rest, recover, and confidently navigate the early days of their baby’s life.

Hi there! Congratulations, expectant parent! I am a Certified Birth Doula & work in the Greater Boston area. I am passionate about providing access to birth support & am certified to take Mass Health members' insurance. I work with midwives in home birth settings; I work in hospitals in Boston, Framingham, Worcester, etc. This year, I was inducted into my college's Hall of Fame (sporty girl over here!) so I bring a physical strength alongside a deep serenity to all birth settings. I believe there is a sweet spot between kinetic intuition (let the person birth!!) & science therefore I arrive at this practice from this lens. I'm here to listen to what type of birth you're preparing for or beliefs you have as this is paramount to inform us (we're a team) & guide your birth in the most aligned & authentic way possible. When I am not on call, supporting pregnant people during prenatal visits, or nourishing folks during postpartum, I focus on building Earth Allies, my organic plant-based company that I founded in California. I am a mother to a two year old; I am in the process of adopting her out of the MA foster care system. May your pregnancy & birth be a positive one for YOU & your baby/babies.
