Couldn’t be more grateful for the support from Elizabeth & Amy! I hired them as my doula team and it was one of the best decisions I made for my pregnancy and birth experience. We had 2 prenatal visits and 1 postpartum visit, and they answered all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. As a first-time mom who had an OB, I felt strongly pulled to hire them for extra support - and I’m so thankful I followed that instinct. Thanks to Elizabeth, I had an unmedicated birth. She believed in me when I needed it most and guided me through every contraction with so much calm and confidence. I delivered a healthy baby girl (6 lbs 9 oz), and I will always be grateful for the role she played in one of the most important days of my life. They offer 24/7 WhatsApp support - even months after birth - which made my partner and I feel supported and never alone during early parenthood. They are incredibly knowledgeable, warm, relatable, and genuinely wonderful people. Amy is also super tech-savvy, so everything felt organized and seamless from start to finish. I truly felt cared for as a new mom. I would highly, highly recommend them. The whole experience was amazing!

I had an amazing experience with this doula service. As a first-time parent, my nerves were all over the place, but they were kind, patient, and very informative throughout the entire process. When my birth plan had to change last minute, they were incredibly accommodating and supportive. I truly appreciated their care and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a doula.

Natasha Barros is more than a doula. She has become a true family friend. This was my first pregnancy, and as a women over 35 I had many questions, concerns, and uncertainties along the way. Natasha was with me every step of the way. She provided exactly the support I needed throughout my pregnancy and was an incredible source of knowledge and guidance.   She accompanied me to my appointments and asked important questions that I would not have known to ask myself. Her expertise helped me feel informed, confident, and empowered when making decisions about my care. She always made sure everything was in order and helped ensure that no unnecessary tests or procedures were being done. Beyond her knowledge Natasha is kind, gentle, funny, caring, and has a wonderful personality. I did not have much support other than my spouse who had to work, so having Natasha by my side meant everything to me. Always there when I needed her, whether it was helping with household tasks, checking in on my wellbeing or simply having a conversation and offering encouragement. I am truly grateful to have such an amazing doula. Her support extends far beyond doctors visits. She genuinely cares about her clients and their families. And she goes above and beyond to make sure they feel supported. I honestly do not know what I would do without Natasha. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who is pregnant or looking for compassion., knowledgeable support during their pregnancy journey. Ms. Barros is simply the best. If I decide to have another baby, I would absolutely choose her again to guide and support me. Thank you Natasha for everything. Your An angel!!

Hi, I’m Genesis, a DONA Certified Birth Doula, CD(DONA), serving Miami-Dade and Broward County , and providing support in both English and Spanish. I believe there is no one “right” way to give birth. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, epidural, induction, VBAC, or cesarean birth, you deserve evidence-based information, compassionate support, and a birth team that respects your choices. Over the past year, I’ve supported 20 births across South Florida, including unmedicated and medicated births, inductions, cesarean births, and successful VBACs. Every one of those experiences has reinforced something I deeply believe: good doula support isn’t about achieving a particular type of birth. It’s about helping you feel informed, supported, respected, and confident throughout yours. As your birth doula, I provide continuous labor support, birth education, emotional and physical support, comfort measures, breathing and positioning techniques, partner support, and guidance as you explore your birth options and preferences. My role is not to make decisions for you, but to help you feel prepared to make informed decisions that are right for you and your family. As a Latina mother myself, creating a space where families feel seen, heard, and understood is especially important to me. I also love involving partners and family members, helping them feel confident and prepared to support you throughout labor rather than feeling like they have to figure it all out on their own. My goal is simple: for you to look back on your birth knowing that you were supported, respected, informed, and never alone. I’d be honored to be part of your birth story.

We had such a great experience with her as our doula. She made the hospital room feel so much warmer and more relaxing with the lighting and music, and her support throughout labor was exactly what we needed. But definitely my favorite parts is that she also captured beautiful photos of such a special day without taking away from the moment. I’m so thankful to have those memories and would absolutely recommend her.

I began my career as a birth professional in 2013 as a registered nurse, specializing in Labor & Delivery. I am also a certified doula and home birth midwife. I have worked as a travel nurse in different states, which has allowed me to learn a variety of useful methods and introduce them where beneficial to my birthing moms. It has been my pleasure to work with families of diverse backgrounds, helping them welcome their new baby into the world and fulfill their best possible pregnancy & birth experience. I enjoy working with women who labor with or without epidurals assisting them with massage, positioning, and breathing techniques to achieve a calming labor experience. I have attended over 2,000 births including water birth and cesarean deliveries. I completed my training and certification as a birth and bereavement doula through both the DONA International and Stillbirthday (bereavement) programs. I have also obtained certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to assist women in their breastfeeding goals. As a Chocolate Milk Cafe facilitator I hold monthly meetings to provide Black women and their families with breastfeeding support and resources. I have received training as an Evidence Based Birth Instructor through Evidence Based Birth. Additionally, I have completed training to become a fertility and pregnancy and infant loss (PAIL) advocate. As a registered nurse I hold certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), AWOHNN Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate & Advanced), and Safe Sleep. My goal is to help educate mothers and families to be as prepared as possible for the childbirth experience and help them to adjust thereafter. I offer hands-on support, as well as help mom understand each step of the labor/birth process so she may better voice her desires to her provider (MD/CNM). I am very open and willing to answer mom/family questions and address any expressed concerns. Sharing the birthing process and miracle of life is my passion. I know that the birthing process can be very overwhelming and my focus is to help diminish any sense of fear and replace it with knowledge and empowerment. I highly recommend! Lydia is a midwife, experienced, and completely trustworthy midwife. She and her entire team do a fantastic job; they have been like my support system throughout my pregnancy and childbirth journey. I will definitely return to them in the future. My overall pregnancy birth and experience is happy and satisfied. I share my experience with my family and it has changed how they think about natural home birth. I came to Lydia at the beginning of my pregnancy and enjoyed everything about the whole process. All of the preparations we did with Lydia were important beginning to end. Having a midwife at the birth made me feel safe and more comfortable.

I initially struggled with my milk supply and breastfeeding form, and I’m so grateful for Chelsy and the work she does/her expertise. She was extremely thorough and took the time to do a full oral exam on my baby, where she identified a tongue tie that had been affecting a sustained latch. From there, she gave me the tools and techniques I needed to overcome that challenge. With her guidance, I was able to improve my baby’s latch, establish a strong milk supply, and ultimately breastfeed successfully without needing to supplement. She was knowledgeable, patient, responsive and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. I highly recommend her to any new parent.

I'm a former licensed teacher that followed my passion to change my 17 year side job of childbirth education and birth doula work into a full time career. It started with earning my credentials as a childbirth educator from the Seattle Midwifery School and teaching in Portland area hospitals but morphed into doing birth doula work as people I met invited me to be part of their births. I like to say I fell into birth doula work unintentionally, but it ignited a passion to do it all that I could (while raising young children, teaching kindergarten part time, and teaching childbirth prep. WHEW! Those were busy years!) Fast forward to 2022, when I became an empty nester (letting both my scientist and my opera singing daughters fly!) and made the decision to leave the classroom and pursue birth doula work and childbirth education. I hold a Masters Degree in curriculum and instruction, so helping birthing people and their support team learn about birth is a natural and easy process for me. Once I decided to do birth work full time, I pursed further education as a birth doula (which was a review of a TINY part that I learned through childbirth educator training, LOL!) and became DONA certified as a birth doula. Through the years I have been lucky to experience a wide variety of births: medicated, unmedicated, planned and unplanned cesarean, VBAC, and so much more. I have years of experience helping those that birth, with or without neurodivergence and other challenges, find their way to empowerment and joy, no matter how their birth journey unfolds. I pull from a wide range of tools, tricks, and methods to provide what YOU would like your birth to look, sound, and feel like. From Hypnobirthing, breathing, crafting the ideal birthing environment to Spinning babies, position work, and comfort measures (comforting touch, using water & heat, leveraging pleasure for more oxytocin), I actively pursue discovering YOUR magic combination for reduced discomfort, labor length, and stress. I keep the birth space calm, safe, easy-going, compassionate, and positive, so that you can enter parenthood empowered and joyful. I provide individualized education, encouragement, and planning prior to labor, and support during the birth process to take the pressure and stress off of you and your labor support though an experience that can have a bazillion variables and may be alien to you. I keep it simple and as stress free as I possibly can so that you can be fully present and enjoy your prenatal, birth, and postpartum experience.

Having Lori with is on this journey was incredible. As first time parents it was important to us that we had someone by our side who could help us navigate pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I immediately felt at ease with Lori - she offered an non-judgmental but educated approach. When our birth plans hit a snag (breech baby) she not only helped us pivot and prepare for a whole new set of unknowns but she sat with us in the grief that came along with accepting this new journey. I was so grateful to have Lori with us for our ECV and ultimately our c-section. Having her in the OR helped calm both mine and my husbands nerves. We are so grateful for her support throughout the entire process and look forward to working with her again when we decide to try for our second!

Hi, I’m Kaila — birth mentor, labor doula, and host of A Mother Is Born. I believe birth should feel like a big deal — in the best possible way. My own experience giving birth was transformational. I felt honored, trusted, and supported throughout. It was beautiful and powerful… and also incredibly rare. Most women I know didn’t feel that way about their births — and that’s what pulled me into this work. I support women who want something more from their birth experience — whether they’re preparing for the first time or recovering from a difficult past one. I offer in-person doula support in Utah County, and virtual birth mentorship to families anywhere. I’m especially drawn to: Parents who see birth as a major life event — and want to plan it with care, not just "go with the flow" Parents who had a birth that left them feeling disappointed or traumatized — and who want a different story this time My approach is rooted in values: self-trust, autonomy, and honoring the body’s wisdom. I don’t believe in rigid checklists or cookie-cutter plans. I focus on helping you figure out what matters most to you, and then build a plan that supports that. I’ll teach you to advocate for yourself — and I’ll step in to back you up when needed. You won’t be alone. My favorite part of this work? The women. The honest conversations. The deep relationships. Watching someone grow into motherhood with intention and power is the biggest honor of my life. A few personal things: I’m a very type-B personality. The bad? My car is always a mess. The good? I am flexible, intuitive, and empathetic. In my personal time, I love learning the names of all the local plants. It's probably an even nerdier hobby than learning about birth! I have a deep weakness for dark chocolate, and never go to bed without second dinner. I truly believe that birth can be one of the most powerful and positive experiences of your life — when you have the right support. I'm excited to meet you!

I had a very traumatic birth for my first child. Catholine made this experience so much more memorable and meaningful. Catholine is unmatched in how she holds space and provides comfort. The graceful and confident way that she approaches every single moment is indescribable. She's right there with you and making sure you have every thing that you need and more. She is also amazing at counter pressure and helping you get through it. One contraction, one moment at a time. She provides the love and care that every mom, new or existing, didn't know she needed. Im so overjoyed that I get to look back on this experience and smile. My heart will be forever full. Thank you so much!

Holly Arroyo

Welcome! My name is Holly Arroyo. I am a certified birth doula (AWWS 2023), NRP (neonatal resuscitation) certified (2025), BLS (basic life support) certified (2026) serving families in the Treasure Valley of Idaho. I am a Bible-believing Jesus follower and I believe that God can use birth to glorify Himself and deepen our faith. I felt called to serving long before I had children, but specifically to the birth world after having my own babies. I have three beautiful children and all three of their births were wildly different. My first baby came into the world via c-section due to being in a frank breech position (head up, bum down). After a failed ECV (external cephalic version) where the doctor attempted to manually flip my baby, a scheduled c-section was recommended. My second baby was an induction and a successful VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). My third baby was my first out-of-hospital and unmedicated birth-and it was a FAST labor! Although I wish I had a doula for my first baby, I did have an incredible nurse with my second baby (who happened to be a doula for many years prior). She made all the difference for me during that labor and her support was invaluable to me and my husband. My desire is to not only serve other mamas in a similar way, but to be that support that I wish I had from the beginning. Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can be such unpredictable, challenging, and vulnerable seasons and it’s vital to have someone come alongside you to educate, support, and teach you how to advocate for your needs, desires, and the needs of your baby. Having a doula on your birth team is like having a built-in friend and coach all in one. Your doula works for YOU-not your provider or the hospital. Pregnancy, birth, and motherhood is a journey-and I would be honored to come alongside you during yours as your doula!

Holly was a key part of making our home birth a dream experience. Prenatal meetings with her were so helpful, and her presence during labor and delivery was invaluable to both me and my husband. We would highly recommend her to any expecting couple!

Safety, support and compassion are the keys to healthy birthing. As a somatic birth practitioner with over 16 years of experience as a Full Spectrum Doula I am honored to hold this loving space for you and this beautiful gift you are bringing into the world.

Recent review

This is honestly a difficult review to write… not because there is any shortage of reasons to praise Cherish, but because no amount of it can truly do justice to explaining just how meaningful her presence was in my journey from pregnancy through childbirth. As a headstrong person intent on going about a “natural” birth within the healthcare system, I knew I wanted to have a doula to help campaign for me, to provide me support and tools through one of the most vulnerable and raw processes a woman can go through. I interviewed many doulas, and while many seemed qualified on paper, I just knew something was missing. Then as fate would have it, I came across Cherish. We had an initial call to discuss the variety of services she offered. Already then, speaking with her felt natural, like meeting someone who you knew could be a friend. It was easy to sense that she genuinely cared, and exuded passion (and compassion). We had meetings and check-ins throughout my pregnancy, to discuss logistics such as my birth plan, generalities like how I was feeling and how certain tests went, as well as address more spiritual matters like my feelings around becoming a mom or subconscious fears that were surfacing for me. Every time I was filled with awe and gratitude for the perfect alignment of her complete holistic support that I knew I had been seeking all along. To make matters more complicated, I went over my due date and with each passing day, my doctor (and the healthcare system) started to tout medical fear mongering to push me into an induction that I knew I did not want/need to do. After every check-up, Cherish and I would connect to logically discuss from a place of knowledge and trust. It was not simply “We are not inducing”, but rather “We are trusting all positive signs of the monitoring and taking an educated stance on it not being medically necessary at this time.” To make a long story short, at 41 weeks and 6 days I finally gave birth to the most perfect, healthy and beautiful baby girl. There was no epidural, no cascade of interventions, no “emergency c section”. If it were not for Cherish’s support, I have no doubt my story could have gone very differently. Instead, when I think about my labor, even with all the variables I could not control for (and that is childbirth at the end of the day), I feel like I had as perfect of an experience as I could have wished for. Not because it was without its share of complexity, but because I truly felt I was in the best hands. Cherish’s presence carried me through every minute of labor’s pain and challenges. I wanted my labor to be intimate with just my partner and myself, and having Cherish did not distract from that in any way. (She had also met my partner in advance of my labor to provide him with tools to help support me in the process.) I ultimately felt more comfortable with her presence in my delivery room than I would have been with my own family. She truly has a place in my heart for life, and there is no question that if I were to go through this process again, I would hope (and be so lucky!) for Cherish to again be by my side.

Hello! I'm Kaytalyn Winston, Certified Birth, and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Support Educator, Childbirth Educator, and Newborn Sleep Consultant. My passion for birth began through my own motherhood journey. I am the mother of two beautiful children, my daughter was  born at a birth center and my son was born at home. Experiencing the power, beauty, and transformation of physiological birth firsthand deeply shaped my view of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. My experience of being fully held and supported by a doula myself ignited a love and drive for supporting women as they navigate their own journeys into motherhood. In addition to my personal birth experiences, I have also had the unique honor and privilege of serving as a surrogate for a close friend. Walking through pregnancy and birth from both the perspective of a mother and a gestational carrier has given me a profound appreciation for the many different paths families take to welcome a child. I believe that every mother deserves to feel seen, supported, informed, and honored throughout each stage of motherhood. Birth is not simply about bringing a baby into the world, it is a transformational rite of passage for a woman and her family. My role is to provide compassionate guidance, evidence-based education, emotional support, and practical care so that families can make informed decisions and approach birth with confidence. My birth philosophy centers on trusting the innate wisdom of the mother and the physiological design of the body while ensuring families have the knowledge and support needed to navigate birth in the way that feels right for them. I strive to create a space where women feel empowered to use their voice, trust their intuition, release all fears and tension, and make decisions aligned with their values and goals. I support families across a variety of birth settings, including home births, birth centers, and hospitals. I have a special passion for supporting physiological birth, VBACs, water births, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and helping families establish healthy newborn feeding and sleep rhythms. Liz is a Birth Becomes You Certified Birth Photographer and will soon be certified as a Hypnobirthing Educator (HBCE) in summer 2026. She supports clients from the onset of pregnancy all the way through postpartum, offering sage wisdom & sisterly kinship to every woman she serves.

Our experience with Liz was truly wonderful! With Liz, you will feel safe, heard, & held through one of the most important moments of your life. When we initially spoke, it was probably 2 minutes into the conversation when we knew she was the right doula. The call ended, my husband & I looked at each other & immediately said, "I LOVED her." Liz laid out everything that we should expect, & did it in a way where we didn't feel judged. Others had tried to convince us that we had unresolved trauma, or had made mistakes in previous births. Liz's trust in us knowing what we needed was so reassuring. During the pregnancy, Liz is there if you need her, checking in to see how appts. went, & getting a feel for your mindset approaching birth. Liz was vital in my ability to remain calm as my due date came, then passed by 9 days! We discussed ways to help encourage labor, different scenarios as 42 weeks approached, & reassurances that my baby & body knew what they were doing. Being a 3rd time mom I really thought I knew it all, but when things went so much longer than we all expected, I was so grateful to have Liz's calm & confident presence. At OBC, Liz arrived exactly when I needed her. She easily fit into the flow of labor offering assistance to me, & guiding my husband to help through contractions. Liz understands when to step to the forefront, & also when to hang back. Her experience & presence in the birthing space made me feel more supported & calm than I had previously. My labor was fast, but I never felt like I lost control. Liz took stunning photos during birth, capturing all of the phases of labor, recovery, & beautiful shots of the baby. The photos will be cherished by our family for the rest of our lives! Liz doesn't disappear after you're done having the baby. She checks in during your recovery at home, & even comes to visit. We loved working with Liz!

I believe birth is not just a medical event — it’s a deeply personal, transformative experience, and the way you are supported matters. As a birth doula, my role is to provide steady, evidence-based support while centering you: your preferences, your intuition, and your sense of safety. I support families through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period with calm presence, clear information, and compassionate advocacy. Whether your birth unfolds exactly as planned or takes unexpected turns, you deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported every step of the way. I work with all birth settings and outcomes — hospital births, unmedicated or medicated labors, planned or unplanned cesareans — and I meet each family where they are, without judgment. My approach is grounded in current evidence, emotional attunement, and the understanding that there is no “right” way to give birth — only what is right for you. Clients often tell me they feel more confident, less overwhelmed, and better prepared after working together. I aim to be a steady presence you can lean on — someone who helps you understand your options, supports your partner, and creates space for you to stay connected to your body and your baby. If you’re looking for a doula who is calm, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in your experience — I would be honored to support you.

I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Olena. As first-time parents, there were so many unknowns, and having someone so knowledgeable, calm, and compassionate by our side made such a difference. During labor and delivery, she was exactly the presence I needed. She knew when to step in with guidance, comfort, and encouragement, and when to simply be there and let my husband and me have our moment. She helped me feel grounded during some of the most intense parts of labor and was also an incredible support to my husband, helping him know how to best support me. What stood out most was how deeply she cared. I never felt like I was just another client. She was thoughtful, attentive, patient, and completely present throughout the entire experience. Having her there gave both of us an added sense of confidence and comfort during one of the biggest moments of our lives. Looking back on the birth of our baby, I’m so grateful she was part of it. I would recommend her without hesitation to any expecting family. She will always hold such a special place in our birth story. ??
