From the beginning of our journey, she made everything feel so natural and comfortable which was key for my birth plan and in general. Being it was my first birth, and a home birth at that, I was nervous and scared.. I didn’t think prenatal visits were meant to be enjoyable until we found her. I always looked forward to our appointments. She never made me feel like I was just another client. She is so thorough and made things easy to understand. Always answered all my questions with ease. Very professional and warm. The perfect balance. She became my support and my friend. Also, as a fellow Latina, she has all my support and I’m proud to call her my midwife/friend. Can’t wait to have my second baby just to have her back!

Adrienne is an incredible human and midwife -- we are eternally grateful we found her! She is supportive, warm, wise, funny, relatable, patient, knowledgable, and grounded. We had a dream water birth at home! And a great start with our newborn baby boy. We used a different midwife with our daughter and the difference was so vast -- Adrienne made me feel so supported and safe, and I know that helped us have the birth we desired. I also loved all the little touches Adrienne did, like postpartum snack mixes for digestion, the "closing the bones" ceremony at 6 weeks, and the placenta art just to name a few. I wish we were having another baby and that we could work with Adrienne again!

Starr is so much more than a birth doula! She is like family. We met before I had my baby and mentioned I wanted to get my hair braided before I went into labor and she said she's a licensed cosmetologist too, so I asked her to braid my hair at our next appointment and she did not disappoint! Then at the birth she was so knowledgeable and understanding. Me and my family definitely felt safe and secure with her by our side.

Sizzly was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and with a lot of experience which made me feel she is very trustworthy and that my home birth was in great hands. Hallelujah!! That’s what I shouted when I was finally able to find Beth! She has been with me through two home births and now takes care of my entire family as our Primary. Her prenatal and Homebirth care were amazing, I always felt listened to. Each visit there was respect and connection! I had a lot of opinions on what I wanted and didn’t want and she talked with me about each of them and never tried to force me to change my mind about anything. Even Vaccines!!! Leading up to my homebirths I was intimidated and spoke to her about that, she was able to point me in the right direction for resources and made great recommendations for my specific fears. When it finally came time to have my babies she was exactly the presence I needed. Hands off but there. My husband and I felt absolutely taken care of and safe. She trusted my body and helped me to trust it to. My sons labor was textbook but my daughters labor was all over the place, 1min contractions followed by 15min breaks or 30sec contractions followed by 1min break. Just all over the place. (I know I would have been given pitocin if I was in a hospital.) I was worried but she reassured me that everything was fine and sure enough my daughter came out in the exact same amount of time it took for my son! I had a 15min rest period between contractions right before the last one that got her out. They were both 6hour labors with drastically different contraction cycles and both ended with beautiful births and healthy babies! I adore her middle of the road approach to health care. She gives amazing advice on things to do for sicknesses and different issues without running to medication. Which is very important for us. Even with ADHD issues she’s given me different things to try that I had never thought of. You kind of only think medication but there’s a whole lot we could do if that’s the route you choose. Having a primary that intimately knows my kids and myself is something I thought wasn’t possible at this day and age. We are so blessed to have found her and I feel completely confident that my kids health is the most important not some agenda! We are blessed to have a Primary we COMPLETELY trust that we can run to!

She is an incredible traditional midwife and I was so fortunate to have her as my midwife as a first time mom. Not only does Merelee (Jessica) Beck have the experience and training as a midwife, but as a mother of 8 she has a plethora of experience and knowledge to support your entire journey of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. She is calm yet confident and so so so professional through the whole process while making it feel like she's your best friend at the time same. I will truly miss all my prenatal and post-birth visits with her but am so happy to have chosen her as a midwife. Dearest Kristin, I am writing you to thank you for the gift you have given my family, myself specifically. It was a no brainer investing in a doula for this second pregnancy, and everyone was right - we had no regrets picking you! A clear comfortable contract didn’t prepare me for the support you provided. Though we hired you for post-partum care, you were a support during my very hard pregnancy. You provided me validation, connection, spiritual healing, not to mention the massages my body so desperately needed! Deciding whether to be induced was a huge mountain for us. I was high risk and my body had enough. You helped me understand my decision with love and compassion. You were so flexible with scheduling to respond to my extended hospital stay. You supported me through the phone and I felt safe leaving the hospital to come home to your care. A day with you nourished our family physically and spiritually.
