Hi! I’m Ashley. I’m a DONA Certified Birth Doula & Advanced VBAC Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, owner of Saltwater Doula, and an educator and agency coordinator at the Relief Doula Agency based out of Relief Parenting Respite and Resource Center in Hampton, NH. I support families in the weeks and months after baby arrives. In person, virtually, all across Hampton and the surrounding NH towns, southern Maine, and the North Shore of MA. Most nights I'm in your home while you sleep. I handle the feeds, the diaper changes, the 3am stuff, so you can actually rest instead of running on empty. Daytime shifts look different depending on what you need that day. Some families want a hand with the baby. Some want help around the house. Some just want someone there who knows what they're doing. I used to get tangled up in the idea that paid support wasn't as real as a village showing up for free, but I don't anymore. When I was in it myself, some of the people who showed up were paid and some weren't. In the moment, I didn't care which was which. I was just glad someone was there. What matters is whether the person in your house is actually present with you, not just going through the motions. That's what I try to be.

Hi, I’m Kolby, a full spectrum doula! I come from a big family and have always loved birth & babies. I have been working with children for the past 10 years. In college, I studied nursing (my mom is a nurse), as well as reproductive health. As a doula, I love being able to care for babies and help families adjust to this new stage of life. It makes me happy knowing I’m making a difference in someone’s home. Building relationships and trust with families is important to me, something I take seriously as your doula. Prior to becoming a doula, I worked as an overnight newborn care specialist, nanny and infant teacher– supporting babies and collaborating with parents. I also LOVE working with multiples– I have worked with several multiples families including twins and triplets.

I first trained as a doula in 2009, after the birth of my (much) younger brother. I was inspired by my mother’s experience and wanted to help birthing people own their births and find their confidence as a new parent through the birthing process.
