Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am a Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Birth Story Listener. I felt called to work with birth as a young adult, and love helping folks prepare for and navigate their birth journeys, as well as their relationship to their birth stories. My goal is to help birthing people find an empowered way through whatever comes up for them, and for them to feel supported and seen throughout the process. I also enjoy homeschooling my kids, teaching theater classes, singing in my community choir, and working for a local organic farm at the farmers market in Claremont!

I worked with Stephanie prenatally, during labor/delivery, and postpartum too. She was wonderful to work with, a great listener, guided me and my husband well through what we could expect with having our first child, supported me through my various anxieties, and really showed up for us during labor. She was a vital advocate for me while I was at the hospital. She is knowledgable about Spinning Babies (and has received their training), did a visualization exercise with my husband and I in thinking about the unknowns of parenthood and embracing all that was to come, and she was ready and prepared to support us when she came to the hospital. She supported me emotionally and physically through early labor and all the various interventions that became necessary because I was not dilating and my labor was not progressing. Loved working with Stephanie and would recommend her to anyone for support during the birth or new mom phase of life.

I am so thankful that a close friend of mine recommended Veronica Hinojosa-Stang and Baby Nurse & Doula Services to me as my postpartum doula and newborn night nurse for my twin babies. My friend had twins 10 years ago, and Veronica provided her with the same care and attention that she gave to me and my newborn twins, who were born at 36 weeks. I am a single mother and first-time parent, and I feel so fortunate to have had Veronica and her colleague care for my twin girls from birth through their first 11 weeks. Caring for newborn twins is no small feat, especially when both babies are fussy or crying at the same time, and Veronica was a tremendous help during such an important and demanding time. Every night, she made sure all the bottles were washed, formula was mixed and ready for the next day, clean baby laundry was folded and put away, and other essential supplies were replenished. Veronica also provided me with a great list of baby-care items that she finds indispensable. I used almost all of her suggestions, and they were all incredibly helpful. She was caring, dependable, and attentive to the girls' needs, helping me, my mom, and other family members staying with me navigate those early weeks with greater confidence and peace of mind. I chose to sleep through the night while Veronica cared for my babies, and she handled them beautifully. I almost never heard them cry during the night. When I extended my contract, Veronica also provided a wonderful backup night nurse from her professional team who continued the same level of care for my babies. Her support made a real difference to my mental and physical well-being, and I am incredibly grateful for the care she gave my girls. I would happily recommend Veronica Hinojosa-Stang and Baby Nurse & Doula Services to any family looking for a loving, reliable, and experienced newborn night nurse, especially families welcoming twins or multiples.

I am a CAPPA-certified Postpartum Doula and experienced Baby Nurse with over 10 years of hands-on experience supporting newborns, children, and adults in both hospital and private home settings. My clinical background includes serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Providence Saint John’s and Cedars-Sinai in the Pediatrics, Postpartum, and Oncology units, where I developed a strong foundation in maternal-newborn care, patient advocacy, and compassionate support. My transition into full-time postpartum and newborn care was a natural calling. After years of walking alongside families in the hospital — including supporting patients through deeply vulnerable moments — I felt drawn toward the beginning of life, where I could nurture, guide, and empower mothers during one of their most transformative seasons. I bring a calm, reassuring presence into the home, along with strong clinical awareness, newborn expertise, and a deep respect for each family’s unique parenting style. I have cared for children from newborn through adolescence and am especially passionate about helping new mothers recover confidently, establish feeding routines, and feel supported both physically and emotionally. Families describe me as attentive, knowledgeable, nurturing, and trustworthy. It is an honor to support mothers as they heal, bond, and step into their new role with confidence. I would love the opportunity to connect and learn how I can best support your family during this special time.

America was everything I could have wanted in a newborn care specialist and more. She made those early weeks feel much lighter by giving us an opportunity to get rest while feeling reassured our baby was in the very best hands. She was careful, communicative, warm, and caring. I’m a first time mom and she also gave me helpful tips while being incredibly respectful. We even had her come back when my son was 6 months old and going through a sleep regression to help us get some rest. She has also stayed in touch and remembered our son’s important milestones long after we ended our time together. She is truly a professional while also having the warmth and kindness any mom would want around their newborn. I cannot recommend her enough!

I had a wonderful experience with Tremaine. Before hiring her I was very nervous and she helped me prepare for labor mentality, emotionally and physically. My hospital birth was great all thanks to her. She really helped me a lot during labor by using aromatherapy, massage, positive affirmation, and guiding me on movements to help me cope with contractions. After labor she continued checking on me and gave me great advice that helped me heal. I recommend Tremaine because she has very caring, helpful and knowledgeable.

Judith was the night nurse for our twins from 0-3 months, and from the day we came home from the hospital she taught us not only how to get the twins to sleep at night (and not wake up), but also how to care for them during the day. She set us up with eating and sleeping schedules that would best benefit their nighttime sleep patterns, and advised us on which swaddles, white noise machines, formulas, and bottles to buy. Her expertise helped us in so many ways. She was quick to notice a couple of dietary issues the twins had, which saved us days if not weeks of nonstop crying babies. She was calm and confident and professional, and by the end of her 12-week period with us the twins were regularly sleeping through the night. Judith made the first weeks of our twins’ lives exponentially more manageable and we highly recommend her.

Candice, my lactation fairy godmother! I reached out to Candice in desperation - my infant daughter was struggling with my supply issues, heavy letdown, and significant reflux/gas issues. She responded to me in under 10 minutes and miraculously offered to come the next day for an in-home appointment. From the moment she walked through the door, I knew we were in unbelievably competent and compassionate hands. She listened to us, validated our concerns, identified root causes, and gave us valuable tools (ex: game-changing nursing techniques, handheld pump recommendation, and tongue-tie referrals). After the appointment, she immediately sent over additional materials. Her investment in her clients is unmatched. I leave this review eternally indebted to Candice. I consider her an excellent resource and an ally who continues to stand in our parenting corner.

Hello, my name is Stella! I am eager to support you throughout your reproductive journey, from early planning to postpartum. My main role as a doula and educator is to provide you and your family unit with evidence-based information, guide you to make intuitive decisions, provide your physical body with healing touch and pain-relieving techniques, and support the co-regulation of your nervous system through listening, breathwork, continuity of care, and tenderness during any phase of your reproductive journey. I am passionate and fierce about this work, while providing much needed humor and levity. Hi there! 🤍 Thank you so much for visiting my profile! I’d love to share a little about myself, what led me to birth work, and how I hope to support you and your family through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. As a doula, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and free to make the choices that are right for you and your family. I believe birth is deeply personal, and there is no single “right” way to experience it. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, considering pain management options, preparing for a cesarean, or still figuring out what feels right for you, you deserve compassionate, judgment-free support every step of the way. I’m here to offer evidence-based information, gentle education, encouragement, and hands-on support while helping you feel confident in your own voice and decisions. My role isn’t to tell you how your birth should look, but to help you feel informed, respected, and cared for throughout the process. I am trained through DONA International and have additional training in childbirth education and breastfeeding support. I’m passionate about helping families feel prepared not only for birth, but also for the transition into parenthood and those tender early postpartum days. Whether you need help navigating your options, reassurance during an overwhelming moment, support with feeding, or simply someone in your corner, I want you to feel that you don’t have to navigate this season alone. My journey into birth work began with my own experience becoming a mother. After the birth of my first daughter, I realized just how unprepared I had felt for labor and delivery. Looking back, I often felt like things were happening to me rather than feeling empowered to make informed decisions based on evidence, my preferences, and my maternal instincts. During my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted a different experience. I immersed myself in research, explored evidence-based birth practices, and became intentional about the kind of experience I wanted for myself and my baby. That journey changed the way I viewed birth and opened my eyes to how much of a difference feeling informed, heard, and supported can make. I knew I wanted to help other families experience that same sense of confidence and empowerment. I would love to connect with you! Whether you know exactly what kind of support you’re looking for or are just beginning to explore your options, you are welcome here. I’d love to learn more about you, your hopes for this season, and how I can best support you and your family. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey! 🤍

As a first-time dad, I wasn’t totally sure what a doula did—I just knew I wanted my wife to feel supported during labor. What I didn’t expect was how much I would benefit from having her there, too. From the moment we hired Janée, she made both of us feel informed, confident, and ready. She took the time to educate us on the stages of labor, comfort techniques, and what to expect in the hospital. By the time my wife went into labor, I actually felt prepared instead of overwhelmed. During the birth, she was absolutely incredible. She supported my wife emotionally and physically, but she also guided me on how to support her better—whether it was suggesting positions, showing me how to apply counter-pressure, or reassuring me when things got intense. I never once felt useless or in the way. Instead, I felt like an active part of the process, which meant everything to me. She created a calm, encouraging atmosphere the entire time. Anytime we had questions, she explained things clearly and helped us feel comfortable with the decisions we were making. Her presence took so much stress off both of us, allowing me to focus on my wife and stay grounded. Looking back, hiring Janée was one of the best decisions we made. She didn’t just support my wife—she empowered me as a husband and new father. If you’re on the fence, especially as a dad, take it from me: a good doula is worth every bit of it. She made our birth experience something we’ll be grateful for forever.
