It is in this role where I feel my intuition, guidance, and personal experiences to be incredibly supportive and valuable. I'm the founder of Pocket Doula and I support emerging birthworkers in radicalizing their practice through heart-centered mentorships, facilitations, and community organizing. My practice is housed under the decolonization of birthwork and transformative queer care. My deepest joys come from witnessing our communities thrive through community care, mutual aid, and abolition work.

Adrienne is a birth & postpartum doula, yoga teacher, and proud mama. She attended her very first birth in 2012 and was immediately hooked! Since then, she has had the privilege of attending over 200 births and supporting close to 300 families postpartum. Adrienne offers caring, compassionate, non-judgmental support to expectant parents and is honored to work with families during such a life-changing time. As an experienced doula, she supports clients who are low or high-risk, who have had fertility challenges, previous traumatic births or pregnancy loss, anxiety, depression and trauma.

I’m Kait, a Toronto-based (but very mobile!), DONA International-trained doula who is ready to support you throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond! I have a strong passion for pregnancy, birth, babies, and supporting new parents, and my patience, care, and understanding nature are what set me apart. I will always listen without judgement and be here to advocate for you and your family. Think of me as your pregnancy and birth coach – whether this is your first child or your fifth, I am here to support you similarly to how a personal trainer helps you at the gym, how a wedding planner helps you achieve your dream wedding, or how a tour guide helps you plan your perfect vacation. From day one, I will support your pregnancy with resources, information, and education; your birth with positivity and hands-on comfort measures; and your early post-partum journey with confidence and love. I will be by your side as you bring your baby into the world whether at a hospital, birthing centre, or in the comfort of your own home. Once baby is born, I will continue to provide you with educational support as well as encouragement and emotional support as you become acquainted with your baby. I will support your infant feeding journey (breastfeeding or otherwise) and offer household organizational support. My first language is English, but I can also support you in conversational French, Portuguese, and basic Italian! Aside from supporting families as they grow, I have a passion for travelling, art, and food!

I'm with you from start to finish, which means from whenever you sign until the end of the fourth trimester, to help any and every way I can. Hi, I’m Patice, a full-spectrum doula serving Toronto and the GTA. Nine years of supporting individuals and families has taught me every person comes into pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with their own story, priorities, and idea of what support should look like. That’s why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to doula care. My role is to understand what matters most to you and adapt my support as your needs and preferences evolve. Whether we’re talking through options during a prenatal visit, adjusting to unexpected changes in plans, finding ways to make labour more comfortable, or simply making space for a pause in the middle of it all, my goal is always the same: to help you feel informed, respected, and confident in the decisions you’re making. Good support isn’t about taking over. Support can be active in quiet ways. Sometimes it looks like breaking down options when things feel uncertain, so you can decide what feels right for you. Sometimes it looks like stepping back so you can focus on what your body and instincts are telling you. And sometimes it is simply making the space feel steady enough that you can pause and decide what comes next. The right support doesn’t draw attention to itself. It helps you feel more capable of navigating what is in front of you. Clients often describe me as calm, practical, and easy to talk to.

I am a Doula, Usui Holy Fire® II Reiki Practitioner, and a Certifying Reflexologist with a background as a Personal Support Worker, and Business Administrative Graduate from Loyalist College. I have a true passion for supporting others in any way I can with empathy, love, and care. 6 years ago, a little boy came into my life in a way I did not expect. I had very little support, nobody took the time to be there and educate me properly despite my efforts to ask questions about labour and birth. I really felt alone in the experience… When the time came to give birth the OBGYN I had was in the hospital long enough to break my water and then was “off for the night”. I ended up with some complete stranger, who was rude, yelled at me, and impatient. He didn’t listen to me, and made me feel very uncomfortable! My son ended up coming out very quickly due to receiving an unnecessary episiotomy (I found this out at my 6 week post birth checkup). This resulted in my son not having mucus squeezed out of his lungs and having issues breathing on his own, he had low APGAR scores and was rushed to the NICU with very little communication from the nurses or the doctor while they stitched me up. The pain I had been feeling escalated as I had no baby, no support and a doctor who had no regards for me as a human… He would get frustrated with me every time I flinched involuntarily and tell me to relax while he stitched me up- he did not believe I could feel it. My epidural had failed with my son. I felt everything. The next couple of days in the hospital were a blur.. I felt a little helpless as I dealt with being sore… nobody had the time to show me how to breastfeed (which failed in epic proportions)… nothing was going right. I had all these plans while pregnant… and none of them were working out, nothing I hoped for was happening. This was the start of postpartum depression With my youngest, I knew better and had learned so much along the way from my personal experience. I was wiser, I knew what to ask and how to advocate. I have an incredible drive to be there for others, this is such a crucial time in your life. Nobody should have to feel alone. This is why I have also become an Evidence Based Birth Professional Member. All I needed was support. This is my why. I want to support YOU, no matter the way you need.
