I moved to FL in OCT 2019. My oldest was a traumatic labor and delivery. It was with a provider that I didn't research and everything felt out of my control. It was rushed, medicated, and scary. After that I promised myself to have a better birth next time. All of my other children have been natural births, in the hospital, with a midwife. I decided to become a doula early into 2021 after finding out I was going to be an aunt. I researched and learned and realized that this is my passion. As a doula I offer many forms of support and aid. I am trained in natural pain relief positioning, comforting touch, and breathing techniques. I am located in Tampa, Florida serving in the Hillsborough county and surrounding areas. I am currently a Birth & Postpartum & infant care doula! When I was 18 years old I attending nursing school. Labor and delivery was my FAVORITE unit but I knew that, that was not the way I wanted to help birthing people. As my own family grew my desire to have an out of hospital birth increased. With my fourth and fifth pregnancies I was able to fulfil those desires with my sister acting as my doula. With the level of care I received I knew that being a birth worker was where I could help!
