When breastfeeding both of my children I was not prepared for all of the issues that could occur! Milk supply concerns, pumping when returning to work, clogged ducts, fussy baby, the list goes on! I have years of experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as well as the Newborn Nursery. Being a nurse and working with babies is where I am meant to be! While working in the NICU I found my passion for helping breastfeeding mothers. So I decided to study to become a Lactation Consultant.
