Hello, Welcome to Mother’s Grace Doula Services!. I’m so excited to start this journey with you. My birth work start all the way back when I was in nursing school back in 2022. I was a nanny for few years while in school. I not have my Bachelors of Science in Nurisng. I since then had the privilege of working with women in prenatal, birth and postpartum care. I feel this is a true calling and I will do everything to make you feel comfortable, connected, supported and empowered through out your pregnancy.

I am a life coach for parents - with emphasis on moms - postpartum doula, CLC, RN and educator of 20 years…and mom to 7. My experience and passion makes me a great coach and educator for moms. I am the Founder and Postpartum Doula behind Healing Touch. Healing Touch was created to support women and their families as they make their journey into parenthood. As a mother myself, I know how having a child transforms who you are, and I am honored to be part of this life-changing process. My desire to become a postpartum doula began after I experienced the struggles that come along with having a newborn. Although the fourth trimester is a very exciting time, it can also be extremely challenging. There was so much I didn’t know, especially around my mental health and what to expect. With my firstborn, my labor and delivery was long and hard, which led me to having certain interventions I didn’t plan on. For the next few months, I had feelings of inadequency and really struggled emotionally. I did not have close family living nearby to help and though it was tough at times, this journey gave me a profound appetite to support others in their postpartum journey. I have a passion for celebrating the postpartum period and educating, empowering, and helping families. When I’m not working as a doula, you can find me at home spending time with my husband and two boys (5 and 7), cuddling up with a good book or boating on Lake Norman.

Hi my name is Jessica! I live in Denver on our family farm with my husband and 2 kids. I’ve been passionate about pregnancy and childbirth since I can remember. I originally trained as a birth doula in 2011, gained some experience and then we started our own family. The doula lifestyle wasn’t something that worked for us while my babies were small. I took about 10 years off from birth work (besides doing births for family) until 2023 when I felt called back to birth work, and I re-trained and certified. I deeply enjoy getting to know my clients and assisting with getting them confident and ready for their birth. I hope to provide my clients with everything they need to make informed decisions that are right for them, feeling confident to advocate for themselves and bringing a calming presence into their birth space, whether that’s at home, at the birth center or a hospital.

After a beautiful and empowering first birth, although it didn't go according to my original vision, a fire was lit to come alongside families in their own birth journeys. I studied Exercise Science in college, where I learned the amazing things our bodies are capable of when we treat them properly or move them in certain ways. I've worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehab, and as a wellness coach in a hospital setting. I was in full-time ministry, working with college students and teenagers. In that capacity, I learned to meet people where they're at, to comfort and to “hold space” for someone. These experiences brought me to a new understanding of wholeness - body, mind and spirit. My name is Sydney Mobley. I am a married, mother of two. We are a Christian family who loves Christ! We have a small farm in Lowrys, South Carolina. My family and I love all things outdoors, including our horses, chickens, our Great Pyrenees, Lucy and our garden! Having experienced two very different births myself, I felt called to help empower other women through their own birth experience and help guide them to make the best decisions for their birth, their baby and their families!

Anansa Lattimore whom we lovingly refer to as "Nzuri Asha" which means Beautiful Life in Swahili. Nzuri is a certified and continues to further her development as a doula. She has been working as a CMA for 10 years and focused in OBGYN for 6 years. During her OBGYN years, she has also received certification to co-facilitate Centering Pregnancy groups through the Centering Healthcare Institute and a certificate for completing the Strengthening Community Health Worker Programs from Harvard University. Her desire ultimately is to serve all women, but she is passionate about being able to serve the African American community and bring awareness to the care of African American women and teenagers who need and deserve during this special time in their lives, as well as empower those same women to use their voices and make more informed decisions about their healthcare.
