Hello there, I’m Lucy Weidig. I’m a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, and newborn care specialist, devoted to serving women physically, emotionally, and physically throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences. I was born and raised in Michigan then relocated to Northern Kentucky in 2017. Besides being a doula, I love to learn about health, read fiction, go hiking, and do anything and everything with my amazing husband. Becoming a doula was never in my plans, but I have a passion for reproduction, babies, and all things women’s health which inspired me to take a doula training with ToLabor, an organization in Richmond, Virginia. My Christian Faith plays a huge role in who I am as a person as well as a doula, and I love incorporating this into the birth field. I can’t get enough of the amazing knowledge and potential around supporting and educating women in and around birth! I dream of experiencing birth for myself and raising my own family, hopefully within the next couple of years. Meanwhile I hope to support as many women as possible through this powerful, beautiful work!

Lucy did a fantastic job! She was able to press on some pressure points for me and helped me get through each contraction that way. It made a HUGE difference! She was also there for me in any little thing I needed and didn’t hesitate to meet me where I was at. She suggested different things for me to try and wasn’t too pushy or too laid back. I would 100% recommend her to anyone that is giving birth. Having a doula was so beneficial and Lucy was amazing at doing her work. 🥰

Hi, I’m Sarah, the heart and soul behind RAS Doula Services. My journey to becoming a doula is deeply personal. My husband and I are parents to five beautiful children, and each pregnancy and birth taught me something different about the strength, vulnerability, and power of motherhood. But our story also holds deep loss. In January 2024, we lost our daughter Riley. Her life, though far too short, changed me forever and became a big part of why I chose this path. I want her life to continue to mean something. Supporting other women as they bring life into the world is one of the ways I honor her. Through my own pregnancies and births, I experienced first hand how important it is for a mother to feel supported, heard, and empowered during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I was incredibly grateful to have my husband by my side each time, but I often think about how different those experiences could have been if I’d also had a trained support person whose sole focus was helping me through every moment of labor. That realization is what led me to become a doula. Along side my training, I bring the lived experience of carrying, birthing, and caring for five children. I understand the physical intensity of labor, the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy, and the strength it takes to bring a baby into the world. My goal as a doula is simple: to walk along side mothers with compassion, knowledge, and encouragement. I want women to feel confident, informed, and empowered in their birth experience. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, you deserve to feel supported, respected, and strong during one of the most important moments of your life. Being invited into such a sacred moment is something I never take lightly. It’s truly an honor to support mothers and families as they welcome their babies into the world.

Brittany Thomas CD(DONA)

Hello! My name is Brittany Thomas. I am a jack-of-all-trades mother of nine children (and soon to be grandma!) I have always had a passion for helping women and children in my community with a special focus on first time mothers. I had counseled at a crisis pregnancy center for 6 years and unofficially supported close friends and family members through pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding, postpartum and parenting for the last 15 years. I then finally decided to make a career out of it and I am now a Ceritfied Birth Doula through DONA. I had my first child at 19 and knew almost nothing about pregnancy, labor and birth which resulted in a very difficult and traumatic delivery and postpartum. After that experience I was determined to research and learn everything I could about human anatomy, the female body and reproductive system, pregnancy, labor, birth and breastfeeding. I went on to carry and give birth to 6 more children (and breastfeed all of them) each of them having unique challenges which provided me with invaluable experience. It is my dream to see a time in which education and caring personal support of women, from pregnancy through postpartum, is normal and accessible to all. I would love the opportunity to help you feel prepared and educated to face the various challenges labor and childbirth presents. I will be there to support you through labor and delivery and cultivate peace and confidence no matter what type of birth you have.

I cannot recommend Trish enough! She was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. She was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, making sure I felt educated and empowered every step of the way. She took the time to answer all of my questions and always respected my wishes without judgment. During labor, she was an unwavering source of support, helping me stay calm, confident, and focused on my birth plan. Because of her guidance and encouragement, I felt comfortable advocating for myself, and she helped me successfully carry out the birth experience I had hoped for. What truly sets her apart is the way she continued to care for me after birth. She even went above and beyond by helping prepare postpartum meals, which meant so much during such a vulnerable time. Her kindness, compassion, and dedication made me feel genuinely cared for, not just as a client, but as a mom. I am beyond grateful for everything she did for my family. If you’re looking for a doula who is supportive, respectful, compassionate, and truly invested in your well being, I wholeheartedly recommend her. She made my birth experience more positive than I could have ever imagined.

Hi, I’m Faith! I provide compassionate postpartum and overnight newborn support to families throughout the Dayton area. With a healthcare background, NICU volunteer experience, and extensive hands-on experience caring for newborns and twins, I’m comfortable independently managing overnight care while helping parents get the rest they need during the postpartum period. My overnight support can include bottle preparation and feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing and settling, safe sleep routines, washing and sanitizing bottles and pump parts, tracking feeds/diapers/sleep, and light newborn-related tidying. I have particular experience with twins and multiples and am comfortable tandem feeding and caring for two infants throughout the night. As I expand my services into postpartum doula care, my goal is to support not only baby, but the entire family during the transition home. I provide nonjudgmental, parent-directed support and am happy to work alongside each family’s preferred feeding, sleep, and newborn-care routines. I primarily offer overnight support and recurring postpartum arrangements, with limited daytime availability. I would love to connect with families looking for reliable, experienced support during those first weeks and months at home. Inclusive & culturally sensitive care: I warmly welcome families of all backgrounds, cultures, faiths, ethnicities, and family structures. I respect each family’s individual values, postpartum traditions, and newborn-care preferences and tailor my support accordingly. Healthcare background • NICU volunteer experience • Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid Certified • Safe Sleep Trained • Postpartum Doula Training in Progress • Experienced Overnight Newborn & Twin Care Provider

I hired Faith to be a night nanny for my newborn twins. Immediately I was very impressed by Faith's responsiveness and previous experience with overnight care for twins, as synchronized feeding and sleeping is essential. She arrived right on time and was so personable and easy to get to know, which made me feel more comfortable with having her take care of everything while I got some rest. She knew how to feed the twins using our Twin Z pillow and the importance of burping them and getting them back in their cribs to continue sleeping. She took great notes that were well organized and ready to share with me at the end of her shift. She also cleaned the used bottles and made sure everything was tidied in the nursery. I highly recommend her to anyone needing night nanny services, especially those with newborn twins/multiples.

Mary Lanese

Packages from $900 · $45/hr

Adding a new baby to your home, whether it was through naturally conceiving, through fertility treatments, surrogacy or adoption, is a life-changing moment and you need support. My team and I can help! You don’t have to start your journey alone! My name is Mary and I am a CAPPA certified postpartum doula with additional training in perinatal nutrition. I was introduced to this amazing work over 20 years ago and realized my true calling is supporting and empowering families during their postpartum transition. I love the outdoors; my hobbies include hiking, kayaking and camping and I am an avid animal lover. I am also a music and trivia nerd. I am a mom and stepmom to five amazing (adult) children and I look forward to the opportunity of serving your family. As postpartum doulas, my team is here to support and guide you as your family explores this new terrain, commonly referred to as the fourth trimester. This term, coined by Dr. Harvey Karp, denotes the 3 months following your baby’s birth and is a time of great physical and emotional change as your baby(ies) adjusts to life outside the womb. It is also the transition period that families undergo as they adjust to life with a new baby. My team takes pride in providing you space to rest, recover, and bond with your new bundle(s) of joy while providing newborn care and tackling household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, dishes etc. I offer non-judgemental, evidence-based support for you and your family as we believe parenthood looks different for every family. Our goals are to instill confidence in your decisions and empower you and your family as you navigate your way through the fourth trimester. Every family deserves care that is evidence-based, emotionally safe and inclusive regardless of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or ability. I am absolutely honored to have the pleasure to serve Dayton, Cincinnati and the surrounding communities.

Payton Anderson

Payton Anderson

Hello!! My name is Payton Anderson. I’m a California native currently living in Ohio due to military life, and I’ve been married to my husband for three years after being together since our freshman year of high school. I’m 22 years old and have a deep passion for women’s health, birth, and lactation—work that truly feels like my calling. I am a trained birth doula who has completed my doula education and am currently working toward certification through DONA International. This certification requires attendance and documentation of three births from both myself and the families I support. Because of this, I am offering my birth doula services at a discounted rate while completing these requirements. While I may be early in my professional doula journey, I am confident, well-educated, and fully committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and continuous support throughout your labor and birth experience. In addition to birth support, I am also on the pathway to becoming an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). This means I bring strong foundational and developing lactation knowledge into the birth space, allowing me to support early breastfeeding goals, comfort measures, and informed decision-making immediately after birth. I want to note that my services are specifically focused on birth doula support. At this time, I do not offer postpartum doula services, allowing me to dedicate my full attention to supporting you through pregnancy, labor, and birth. My goal is to create a calm, informed, and empowering birth experience where you feel supported, respected, and confident in your choices. It would be an honor to walk alongside you during such a meaningful moment in your life

I had the absolute greatest pleasure to have worked with Nicole. While searching for a Doula, I sought out someone kind and understanding. Being pregnant with your first child can be so scary, especially when you have fears about how you’re treated in the medical field. After our first meeting, I immediately knew I wanted her alongside me while I give birth. It never felt like I “hired” Nicole. It was almost impossible to feel that way because she truly cares, checks in, and goes above and beyond her title. She’s very familiar with the hospitals in the area, gave great birthing education, and is very thorough. I would definitely recommend her to any first time mom or first time family. I’ll forever be so grateful.

Abbey Bower

Dayton, Ohio 2 years of experience

Abbey Bower

HI. I’m Abbey, the other half of Kindred, a doula partnership I share with my amazing sister-in-law! I am a wife to my long-time boyfriend, a mother to two wild & free girls, a sister, a friend, a nurse, a small business owner, a musician, &, most recently & excitingly, a doula. I live in the rural greater Dayton area on a piece of land back a long lane, nestled against a wood of trees. It’s becoming my oasis, my resting place, our haven to grow and make memories. I am a lover of adventure and the term “settling down” or “forever home” has always terrified me, but the past few years of some intense grief and loss have taught me that a quiet space to grow into your own, to rest, is a gift and a privilege. I am grateful. My mothering tendency is becoming. With the birth of my first came the birth of my mama heart and a wonder beyond wonder. I surprised myself with the way this season was becoming my absolute best one yet. A cumulation of immense loss and grief, another pregnancy, and the birth of my second baby girl, was followed by a season of despair, as I can now call it looking back. A miscarriage followed and left me bare bones and not thriving. Today I find myself growing into who I am as a mama. I find great joy in watching my girls grow and become, great anxiety in the “what ifs” of their little lives, and am overstimulated way easier than I ever imagined possible. You’ll find us playing in the woods, splashing in water of some kind, taking trips to the library & coffee shop, making so many random breakfasts/lunches, meeting with friends, playing dress-up or make-believe of one kind of another, & soaking up the sunshine. When I’m not mumming, I’ll be reading, playing guitar, walking, working as a homecare nurse, having deep conversations with my guy, waxing nostalgic, drinking black coffee or red wine, & eating fruit of some kind, or recently more than ever, sitting & staring to find some mental rest (anyone else?). It’s so good to meet you here. I am so honored to be entering this sacred space of pregnancy, birth, & womanhood, & am looking forward to getting to know you. We’re here for it all, and want more than anything for this to become a “soft space to land”. I pursued my birth doula and lactation support training with a DONA certified doula, and am now pursuing certification myself. I am also a RN-BSN. Although I am not operating from this title while in the birth doula space, I do bring this background and experience.
