My name is Brooke, owner of MountainMamas Doula Services. I’m really glad you’re here! I am a certified Birth Doula, certified Postpartum Doula, and Newborn Care Specialist. I live in Littleton with my husband and two amazing children! I started in this work 5 1/2 years ago, taking after my mom and primary birth backup, Donna, who recently retired in birth work after 16 years. I am a certifying birth and postpartum doula and a mother of three. I felt called to this work after the birth of my first daughter while living abroad with my husband in South America. Through that experience—even with a great husband—I became deeply passionate about ensuring that no mother has to navigate pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period alone. The early weeks and months of motherhood can be overwhelming, and women need the support of other women during this transformative season. While raising my family and working as an administrative assistant, I have pursued my passion for supporting new moms and families as a Family Life Coach with Colorado Family Life Center (CFLC). Through the Confident Beginnings Program, I walk alongside first-time parents as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. I guide parents as they learn about breastfeeding, bonding, milestones, sleep, and so much more. Officially becoming a birth and postpartum doula was a natural extension of this work. In my free time, I love spending time with my family playing board games, going camping, and discussing the latest sasquatch sightings. I run a small at-home bakery called Bun in the Oven Bakery, where my daughters and I sell pies and muffins at the Orchards Farmers Market during the summer. I am a follower of Jesus and attend Flatirons Community Church in Denver.

Hello! I’m Liana (she/her) and I’m thrilled that you’ve found me! Beyond my ever-increasing passion for all things birth-related, I am a big fan of reading rom-coms, dragging my husband out on adventures with our three kids, extroverting (is that a word?) with friends, and generally enjoying this hectic and lovely life. Now on to why you’re here! After the birth of our first child, I realized there were some big gaps in the childbirth classes that we took. Before we became pregnant again, I was researching what we had missed and awoke a passion for childbirth and maternal care that has only deepened over the years. After our three kids were born, I became a Childbirth Educator in 2017 and a Birth Doula in 2018. I also delivered two babies as a gestational surrogate in 2019 and 2021. I love supporting families of all kinds, including (but not limited to) biological families, adoptive parents, LGBTQ+ parents, single parents, and surrogates and IPs.
