I’m a passionate and experienced parent who knows firsthand how magical - and sometimes overwhelming the newborn stage can be. I had a doula for my own births, and that experience opened my eyes to just how beautiful and capable the human body is. I’ve always been drawn to the process of birth and early parenting, and I’ve loved every stage of being a mom, from breastfeeding all of my babies to babywearing, co-sleeping, and fully embracing the joys and challenges of the newborn period. My philosophy as a postpartum doula is rooted in gentle, intuitive support that honors both baby and parent. Hi everyone, my name is Nancy and I am a Postpartum Doula, New Parent Educator, and Perinatal Mental Health Specialist. We have a team of providers at Anamav Postnatal Care who offer various services across the Greater Toronto Area (including Peel, York, Durham and Simcoe) as well as virtually. Our team includes postpartum doulas, lactation consultants, and sleep consultants and we also have strong referral networks with other types of providers. I started Anamav due to my own mental health challenges after having my first child, and now it is my absolute honour to support so many families during this significant time in their lives.
