hospital birth, natural no epidural, no budget because i don’t know the going rate

I plan to give birth in a hospital setting and would really like a doula who is supportive of an unmedicated birth. My goal is to have as natural of a labor as possible while still being in the hospital environment. I’m looking for someone who can provide encouragement, reassurance, and calming support throughout labor, and help me stay focused and comfortable using natural pain-management techniques such as breathing, movement, positioning, and relaxation. This is very important to me because I want to feel supported, confident, and empowered during the birth process. I would love someone who can help advocate for my preferences if needed and create a positive, calm atmosphere during labor. As far as budget, I’m not completely sure yet, but I’m open to discussing options and finding something that works.

I have a question due to my first pregnancy was a c-section and my second pregnancy was a horrible experience where I requested a c-section would it be carry for me to want a try for a natural birth my first pregnancy I dilated 4 1/2 centimeter before I had an emergency c-section but my second I was dilated 1 and contractions were back to back but no assistance with breaking water or stripping cervix nor would they let me walk the halls due to my doctor was not there. I just want to know where I stand with all my options before I get boxed in with my doctor I have now who says no but I have no health issues nor was I told this is a high risk pregnancy but I will say I’ll be turning 35 in august before I deliver

We plan to have a home birth, we are hoping that we can find some covered services under TRICARE. Outside of that our budget depending on the service.

Military hospital is where I plan to give birth. I would say our estimated budget 2 thousand. We want to have an epidural, push when my body feels it not when told, immediate skin to skin, delayed cord clamping. Experienced enough to help with an easy birth. This is my second pregnancy, I’m due December 11! I am being transferred to EVMS as my OB because I want to try VBAC and my previous OB in Chesapeake will only do repeat c-sections. With my first I was induced at 37 weeks because he was IUGR ( most likely because he has Turner Syndrome, a chromosomal abnormality that makes him smaller in size basically) I was induced on a Wednesday and ended up having a C-section on a Friday morning due to failure to progress. My son’s heart rate was dropping because of the Pitocin. I have an appointment with EVMS on August 20 to confirm this baby is not IUGR. The doctor said I can try VBAC as long as I don’t have any complications this pregnancy and the baby isn’t IUGR. If so I will have a repeat c-section because I don’t think I could handle being induced again. I would like a doula who can support me in VBAC and physically and mentally prepare for this! It seems that VBACs don’t get the best support

I'm look for someone who is very knowledgeable who can help with techniques for a natural birth. A doula that can help with a birth plan the do's and don'ts. A doula that will support the baby and I. A doula that can give a different perspective.
