Hi! I’m Chels. I am a birth and postpartum doula and a photographer. This means I support your family from pregnancy through that postpartum transition into parenting a new baby. And should you choose, I will document the parts of your journey you hold most dear. As a postpartum doula, I provide overnight care where I see to baby’s every need allowing you to gain much needed rest to take on the next day. If daytime support is more what you’re needing, I can help there too. My services often include light housekeeping, meal prepping, and errands (grocery pickup, driving older siblings places, etc). I have been in this role for 5+ years which has given me abundant experience and high recommendations from many families. Let me know how I can best support you. 🤍

Hi there, I am an experienced midwife who is taking a hiatus from the on call life of being a midwife to be present with my 10 year old twins. I have extensive experience with breastfeeding, twins, newborns, etc. I love nurturing mamas and babies during the postpartum period. This time can be challenging for new parents but having someone to answer questions and provide support is crucial to making this transition smooth and enjoyable. I’d love to be able to work with your family as a postpartum doula.

Christa has an amazing heart, she was there to help answer whatever questions I had and put my mind at ease. I got a few hours of sleep while she cared for my baby and then helped with breastfeeding when my baby was ready to nurse. She helped me resolve some nursing concerns and before I knew it my baby was latching without a problem and with no more pain! I would recommend Christa to any new moms!

Greetings! My name is Willow, mother to a sweet little girl named Alierah. After my own pregnancy and freebirth with my daughter, a fire was lit in me to find my place in birth work. That calling led me to become a doula; I desire to support and uplift mamas through their own birth journeys, and to help families find their innate wisdom when it comes to birth. I'm holistic minded with a passion for sovereign birth in all settings - hospital or home- and a special spot in my heart for freebirth. I offer sincere, compassionate care, with a deep respect for the sacredness of birth. Birth is a hurricane- it's messy, it's hard. It's also beautiful and empowering. If you're transitioning from maiden to mother for the first time, or traveling through the inward journey of labor once again, I'd be deeply honored to walk with you and serve you... and to nourish your family with love and loyalty during this transformative time in your life.

CLIENT QUOTES: “Tanya met and exceeded our expectations. She was an immense source of comfort and assurance to me during labor. In addition, she helped to support my husband and gave him opportunities to take breaks as needed.” “Tanya was very helpful in positioning (with an epidural) and coaching through pushing. It made this birth a lot more enjoyable (than my first).” “Tanya came to be with us shortly after our release from the hospital and ensured a much easier transition. She was willing to help with whatever would make our lives easier with a new baby – helping with laundry, errands, and making sure we were all eating and resting, to spending precious one-on-one time with our toddler! We are so thankful for Tanya and her sweet, calming nature.” “Two years and two kids later, Tanya’s calm, caring, nurturing ways have helped us navigate this unpredictable journey of parenthood through the toughest days and longest nights. I am not only fortunate for the support she has provided my children, but so grateful for the friend she is to me as well.” “Tanya has made my husband’s and my own life so much more balanced and manageable in the weeks leading up to and following the birth of my twins! She not only makes sure we get an adequate amount of rest, but also provides so much peace of mind through her immense knowledge of newborns and their needs. She is always available, day or night, to answer our questions or to help us out in numerous ways. I cannot say enough of how much of a difference Tanya has made throughout the entire process and how grateful I am for her.”

Hello! I’m Monica, a God-fearing Army wife and mother of two beautiful children. I have a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and am a trained DONA birth doula working toward certification! Baby wearing, cloth diapering, and pregnancy nutrition are a couple of my favorite research topics. After I had my first child, I wanted to help support women in the best ways I could. There are so many questions and anxieties around pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum that I felt called to help bring comfort and peace to women through such a sanctifying time. All life is sacred, both mother and baby. Doulas have been shown to have a positive impact on mothers feeling supported and having a positive birth experience. No matter what choices a woman may make for herself and her child, I strive to listen, support, and care for all lives involved. Reach out to me if you are looking for a doula in the Hopkinsville, KY and surrounding areas! I would be honored to support you and your family in this season of your life.

Monica was a great Doula for my second birth. She was calming and helpful and reassuring. Her knowledge of counter pressure and alternative pain management methods made active labor without medication possible. I would highly recommend her for anyone who needs a calming and helpful presence during childbirth

Heidi was an amazing doula during my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum! She goes above and beyond to make sure you are supported, informed, and that your birth plan is respected by your entire healthcare team. The birth of my twins went nothing as I would have initially wanted as I was planning for a natural birth with the least intervention as possible but due to my twins being breech, my only safe option to deliver them was a c-section. Heidi even referred me to an amazing prenatal body work specialist to attempt to safely reposition my babies into head down position. She really became a trusted voice and friend along the way for me and my husband due to her extensive birth experience as a doula. On the day of my planned c-section, Heidi advocated for me in many ways when I was nervous and apprehensive during my surgical preparation. She also was able to be in the OR with my husband and I during the delivery of our twins and then assisted with my first breastfeeding session and initial post-operative recovery time. I would recommend Heidi to anyone looking for a doula to support their pregnancy, labor, and delivery! While we have our hands full now with twins, I would definitely hire Heidi again if my husband and I decide to get pregnant again! I cannot thank her enough and am so grateful we had her support along the way even if my birth was not exactly as I would have hoped. It was still a miraculous day as I delivered two very healthy babies for which I am so grateful!

By reducing stress, I enable mothers to prioritize self-care and bonding with their baby. Think of sleep as a valuable resource that needs to be replenished to help you function at your best. I am here to provide the assistance you need

I can’t say enough positive things about Jana. Both of my children adore her. She is passionate about children and it shows in the way she cares for them. She was my postpartum doula after the birth of my son and I can’t imagine having gone through that experience without her!!!! It’s incredibly important to get rest during that time but for me it was even more important to have peace of mind that whomever was taking care of my son at night was the best of the best! So grateful for Jana!

I am an experienced, trained, and certified birth doula and an advocate for changing the birth narrative in our world. Overcoming the heartbreaking loss of my mom through childbirth, I faced my own fears through my three births. During those experiences, I uncovered profound strength, resilience, and courage beyond my wildest imagination. Birth invites us on a journey of self-empowerment. It would be my honor to be your guide as you courageously step into your own birth story, the same way I did.

I am a Master Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, and certified Lactation counselor. The happiness and well-being of children and families have always been an interest of mine. I have had several careers working with infants and families including being a professional nanny and owning a small swim school primarily for infants and toddlers with special needs. I have targeted training focusing on infant and toddler development, perinatal mental health, infant nutrition, lactation and a wide variety of parenting philosophies such as RIE and gentle parenting. My knowledge base and specialized experience working in the private home sector include: coordinating and collaborating with additional staff, traveling privately with clients, providing evidenced based care and parent education, maintaining multiple nurseries in different locations, navigating varying climates, and working with multiples. In addition to postpartum support, I am an American Red Cross Instructor who is active in my local community teaching new parents and caregivers CPR/First Aid. The services I offer reflect what I value most: providing parents with opportunities to obtain sweet sleep, serenity, and peace of mind; knowing that their children are in great hands. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, skiing, swimming and spending time with family.
