Hi, I’m Estefany — a trained doula, medical assistant, physician trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology for 3 years in Venezuela, and nursing student passionate about supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My journey into birth work comes from both professional experience and personal understanding. After moving to the United States 10 years ago, I continued serving families in healthcare while following my passion for maternal care. I also became a NICU mom after delivering my daughter prematurely at 29 weeks due to severe preeclampsia, an experience that deeply shaped the way I support and advocate for mothers today. I have a passion for community assistance ever since I have knowledge. I remember as a little girl helped the elders after school at only 9 years old. As years passed me passion for helping our community grew stronger. So I began my journey in the medical field as a RMA in the OB GYN specialty. I still felt that I can do more for my community and one day in bible study a lady I met called herself a Doula and I asked what is a doula and once she explained to me what a Doula is I immediately looked into it and it was an instant match for me. I was already working with moms and babies but being even more close to my clients and the community was an extraordinary feeling of accomplishment. I got certify as a Doula Business Owner, Lactation consultant, Birth Doula, Holistic nutrition, placenta encapsulation specialist all to be an all in one package for my clients. I strongly believe that it lessens the stress when a doula can carry multiple specialties needed to avoid referring and the client to be seeing multiple appointments in a day. My personal experiences with pregnancy, birth, and motherhood have shaped the way I support families. Motherhood has stretched me, softened me, and strengthened me in ways I never expected. I also openly share part of my story that has deeply shaped who I am today. I have a T-12 spinal cord injury. While this injury is part of my journey, it does not limit me from doing this work. If anything, it has empowered me to pursue it even more wholeheartedly. I am fully capable of offering hands-on support and care to the families I serve. While I do have a few small limitations, they are very minor, and I am always happy to have open conversations about them. More than anything, my injury has strengthened my resilience, compassion, and perspective on life. I truly believe God has used every part of my journey, both the beautiful and the difficult. It has molded me into the woman I am today. Through challenges, He has grown my faith, deepened my empathy, and given me a greater understanding of perseverance, grace, and the importance of support during vulnerable seasons of life. Those experiences are something I carry with me into every birth and postpartum space I enter. After moving to Tennessee, I felt deeply called to serve families within my community. My goal is to create a calm, supportive, and judgment-free space where parents feel confident, educated, and cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
