Hi there! My name is Emmabele and I am a childcare provider/doula/newborn care specialist! I know that’s quite a lot of specialities, but I’ve worked with children and families since I was 18 years old. I have a passion for loving on little ones and helping families in anyway I can. In 2023, I decided to pursue a doula career, along with becoming a newborn care specialist! I’ve worked in hospitals as a pediatric/emergency department CNA, so I believe combining my skills in childcare and the medical field will make me the best doula possible. It is my goal to make labor, birth, and postpartum a smooth transition for the families I work with.

Hi! My name is Maggie and I am a DONA Trained and Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. I have several years in the childcare industry, spanning various different roles, both inside and outside of the home. I have taken my love for kids and my amazement at the power of birthing people and pivoted my passion to doula care. I believe in empowered and educated choices, feeling empowered in the labor room, and supporting families during the biggest transitional period of their lives. I definitely bring a "birth bestie" vibe to the birth room. I value including partners in comfort measures and techniques during labor. We are a team!

I'm Stephanie, the owner of Gentle Birthing SC. My passion for birth work began after the home birth of my first child in 2010, when I experienced the incredible support of a midwife and birth team. That experience inspired me to help other women learn about their birth options and approach birth with confidence. Since then, I've welcomed six children through home births, including five water births, and have continued to deepen my knowledge of pregnancy, birth physiology, and natural comfort measures. The encouragement I received from my own birth team shaped the way I viewed birth, and I strive to provide that same compassionate, evidence-based support to the families I serve. In addition to birth work, I have experience supporting families during the postpartum period, providing overnight newborn care as they adjust to life with a new baby. My goal is to help parents feel supported, rested, and confident during this special season..

I became a doula because I genuinely love caring for others during some of the most vulnerable and transformative moments of their lives. There’s something so special about being able to support families, not just physically, but emotionally too—helping them feel seen, safe, and confident. What I love most about being a doula is creating a calm, reassuring presence for both parents and baby. Whether it’s helping a new mom get much-needed rest, offering guidance, or simply being there through the ups and downs, I take pride in making that experience smoother and more supported. For me, this isn’t just work—it’s something I’m truly passionate about. Being trusted to care for a family during such an important time means everything to me, and I’m committed to showing up with compassion, patience, and genuine love in every space I enter.
