Hello everyone, my name is Sarah and I am a doula with a background in Montessori Education, ten years of experience as a teacher and nanny, and special interests in the spiritual dimension of birth and trauma-informed care and mental health and wellness in the inter-partum period. I gave birth to my two precious children in 2022 and 2025, and it was after my first birth that I realized I have an enormous amount of energy for and desire to participate in birth work. There is no doubt in my mind after experiencing it myself that birth belongs to the realm of the sacred. I aim to build a doula practice that helps birthing people cross the profound physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual thresholds during labor that are meant to prepare and initiate them into the new role that awaits them after their child’s birth.
