A hybrid doula care program blends virtual support with in-person elements (where possible) to support moms through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period — especially useful for out-of-state moms who can’t have a doula physically present for all phases of care. Virtual (Online) Support This is done through: Video calls (Zoom/FaceTime) for education and planning Phone/text support for encouragement and questions Remote labor support where the doula coaches you and your support partner in real time during early labor Education sessions on pregnancy, birth plans, comfort measures, and postpartum topics Virtual doulas help with birth planning, emotional support, and postpartum adjustment through screens, messaging, and scheduled calls. In-Person Support (When Safe/Possible) In-person visits during and after birth Hands-on postpartum help if the doula travels or partners with local doulas (This depends on the provider’s location and travel policies.)

I am a Full Spectrum Birth and Postpartum Doula in Austin, TX trained through Doula Trainings International. I work with families throughout the birth process to create supportive care and systems so you feel empowered and educated throughout the entire birth process, as well as supported and cared for during the postpartum period. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ families and those who are in different stages of the birth process, including miscarriage and loss. I am Drea Kelly, the founder of River Wild Doula Services, and I am so happy you're here! I have always known I was called to this work... to hold space in the sacred, in-between places where we are transformed by the rivers running wild through us. Hi! I'm Lacey Dowlearn! I am a Birth Boot Camp certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth Doula serving Round Rock families. My journey in birth work began in 2007 with the first pregancy in my group of friends. She had mentioned wanting a midwife and I started researching. I had caught the birth bug and was hooked! The idea of women helping women made my heart happy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to be an apprentice midwife at several freestanding birth centers; labor support for homebirth, birth center and hospital clients in Round Rock and surrounding areas and have recently certified as a CBE and Doula with Birth Boot Camp. I've been married to my partner, Danny, since April 2008. He has supported me through this journey and is a great partner. I am a mom to two beautiful little girls, Annie and Jane. Both of my births took place in my home accompanied by a midwife, my very first midwifery preceptor. I breastfed both of my babies for 2 years, tandem for 6 months. That was such a wonderful and bonding experience. I want to provide the best care to each mother who trusts me with her birth experience, whether that be in hospital or at home.
