Hi I’m Sierra! Back in 2020 I was an unofficial doula for my niece when she came back from the hospital. I didn’t know it at the time but it’s what started my love for Postpartum health. I had my daughter in 2021 and I fell deep into it and searched for information and knowledge around birth and postpartum. 2024 I got certified as a postpartum doula and now in 2026 I got certified as a birth doula. I love this work it is my true calling.

My name is McKenna; I am a birth and postpartum doula. I became a doula in 2023 after the birth of my second child. As too many experience, my birth with my first was not what I had envisioned it to be. This lead me down the path of how disconnected birth has become. After my second child, I started my doula education and set on a path to help families feel supported and educated no matter the circumstance. As a doula, helping mom & baby of course is the main focus, but supporting the partner and/or the whole family unit is another major aspect of my practice as well. Hi! I'm Ella. I am a mother to one beautiful daughter born in 2022. I also have a dog who is an English pointer lab mix that is full of energy and loves meeting new people. I live in Lakeville and am serving around the Twin Cities area. My interest in being a doula started when I realized I was really fascinated with birth after having my daughter. I also love supporting those around me and supporting expecting moms seemed to be the best way to support those in my community. My personal experience with pregnancy and birth were both challenging and empowering. To hear that story you would hear about personal transformation, courage, fear, and an immense amount of joy. As a doula I give expecting moms guidance and physical support through labor and birth to help them feel empowered and confident. I’m Paige and I’m a mom of 3. I spent most of my young adult life working with people with developmental disabilities. After that, I received my Sign Language Interpreting degree from Saint Paul College and worked with Deaf/Hard of Hearing folks before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have spent the last several years raising my kids. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s my favorite job yet! Now it’s time for me to do what I really love: postpartum work! Many people tend to focus only on pregnancy and preparing for birth, but they don’t spend time preparing for postpartum. I am a mom with a lifelong passion for reproductive rights and gender equity, and have enjoyed being an advocate in many different settings. As my friends started having kids, and I went through my own pregnancy and birthing journey, I realized the powerful role that doulas play and the benefit of having continuous support for birthing people and their partners. I started reading and learning more about birth, taking childbirth education classes, and eventually completed full Doula and Lactation training with Community Aware Birthworker. When I’m not doula-ing, you can find me hiking, drinking tea, knitting, and soaking up snuggles with my husband and son. My first career is in public policy and I currently work as an environmental lobbyist. I graduated from Macalester College and have a Masters in Public Affairs from Indiana University.

My background is as a licensed health professional within the field of occupational therapy, so it will surprise no one that client-centered care, coupled with the provision of evidence-based information, is my default orientation. Reproductive health is a keystone of women’s overall wellbeing, and I view birth education, combined with perinatal support, to be a key factor in setting women up for long, happy, healthy, well-lived lives. I bring a wide lens to birthwork and aim to provide support for the entire childbearing year. Above all, I have a heart for maternal mental health.
