I am a mom to 2 boys. My first son was born at 33 weeks via cesarean section due to severe preeclampsia. Due to that he was in the NICU for 35 days. My second son was born via VBAC with the help of having a birth doula. My passion is to teach clients to have birth empowerment. I do this by providing them with evidence based care.

I am the owner/founder of Embracing Motherhood Doula Services, LLC. My decision to become a doula came from my own personal experience with childbirth. I have been blessed to bring three beautiful children into the world, and each birth has been a unique part of my journey. The birth of my first child was especially challenging. While I had incredible support from my husband, it was his first birth experience too, and neither of us really knew what to expect. Because of COVID, we weren't able to take a childbirth class, and looking back, I wish I had known about doulas. I would have hired one in a heartbeat.
