We had an incredible experience with our birth doula, Elizabeth, and cannot recommend her enough. She is truly down to earth, kind, caring, supportive, and knowledgeable. From the very beginning, Elizabeth made herself available by phone, and we always felt comfortable and confident reaching out with questions before labor. Once I went into labor, it was reassuring to notify her and she generously made herself available to support us. During labor, Elizabeth provided amazing emotional support and helped me through some of the rougher contractions with tools and support. She was also a strong advocate and helped guide us through decision making in the labor process. In addition to offering knowledge and guidance, having another familiar, calming face in the room made a huge difference. Elizabeth took the time to really get to know us before labor and followed up with a visit afterward, which meant so much. Having a doula like Elizabeth added an extra layer of support, advocacy, and reassurance that allowed us to feel more grounded, informed, and cared for throughout the entire experience. We truly loved having her as part of our birth and are so grateful for the role she played in it.

I am a Venezuelan born, Miami raised, queer, cis woman who has always been obsessed with babies and everything birth. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve known that I wanted to work with children and parents. I did everything from teach dance, child wrangle, summer camp counselor, and eventually a full-time nanny. I have worked as a nanny for the last 13 years. I am finally walking the road to becoming a birth and postpartum doula, and I am beyond thrilled to be working with you. My intentions are to bring light, love, safety, and knowledge to families in need of assistance during both birth and postpartum. I believe you should be able to speak freely of any concerns or questions you may have about your pregnancy and newborn. I believe that it is your right to rest and be able to enjoy the journey into parenting, whether it is your first child, or your third.

We cannot recommend Elanor enough. She is an incredible full-time nanny for our family, and has been for the last five years. She handled our first child and then transitioned to handing both when we had our second; she was especially amazing while juggling our newborn and toddler. She is calm, patient, warm, and has never once raised her voice - a quality that has been especially wonderful for our sensitive children. At the same time, she is firm and consistent, sets clear boundaries, and is excellent at discipline in a calm and respectful way. She is incredibly flexible, often staying late or coming early when needed, and even traveled with us on many family vacations, giving us daytime coverage and the opportunity for much needed date nights. She also handles doctor appointments, kids sports/activities, and all the everyday logistics of caring for two young children. She became such a trusted and important part of our family, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her in our children’s lives.

First off I want to begin to say she is the most sweetest person I’ve ever met. Very professional very calm great listener and is not afraid to stand on 10 toes behind your wishes. She makes sure of what YOU want and is not afraid to verify what you want over and over right up until you go give birth and even after. She makes sure that your comfortable and that your wishes are heard and one thing I can never get out of my head is her asking me “is this what YOU want” or “ Are you ok with this” “are we on the same birth plan?” even in the hospital in-front of any doctor or nurse she was not afraid to make sure about what IIIII WANTED. She wasn’t afraid to ask questions nor was she afraid to advocate for me. She literally makes it all about you and your birth and your baby. She is available to you at any time if you need her do not be afraid to reach out. She gives great advice she has great techniques that will prepare you for birth during birth and after. This girl deserves an award like I really loved her services she even had a backup plan (still accommodating to your wants and needs) just incase if by any reason she wasn’t available for me when I went into labor. She loves what she does and she’s just a doll. I want her to be my doula again for my next pregnancy 💜

Working with Angelica was such a meaningful part of our birth experience. From our first conversations, she made us feel comfortable, listened carefully to what mattered to us, and helped us prepare with practical tools and thoughtful conversations. She was warm, knowledgeable, reassuring, and genuinely invested in making sure we felt informed and supported. When our birth took an unexpected turn, Angelica’s presence became especially valuable. She helped us understand what was happening, gave us space to process our emotions and ask questions, and reminded us that our voices and choices still mattered. She supported both of us without ever taking over, helping my partner feel confident and involved throughout the experience. What stands out most is how cared for we felt. Angelica brought a wonderful combination of calm, compassion, practical knowledge, and genuine human connection. We felt supported, informed, and held during some of the most important and vulnerable moments of our lives. We’re so grateful she was part of our journey.

Welcome to Yes Doula! My name is Letisha McFarlane Hadley, and I am a DONA-trained Birth Doula, Bebo Mia trained Postpartum Doula, Certified Orgasmic Birth Practitioner, Mental Health First Aider and Co-Founder of Yes Doula, a New Jersey-based maternal wellness practice supporting families through both in-person and virtual care. My journey into birth work began at 21, when I supported my mother through her pregnancy and cesarean birth. Years later, I had the honor of supporting my sister through the births of my nieces. These experiences, along with my own three empowering and pleasurable births, sparked a deep calling to support other women and families through the transformative experience of birth. My perspective on birth shifted profoundly through the Orgasmic Birth Practitioner Program and Debra Pascali-Bonaro’s film, Orgasmic Birth: The Best Kept Secret. It became more clear to me, the powerful connection between birth, sensuality, love, and pleasure. This inspired me to share a different vision of birth: one that moves beyond fear and centers trust, connection, choice, and the body's innate wisdom. At Yes Doula, I believe every woman deserves to feel informed, supported, and empowered to make choices that reflect her needs and desires. Whether you are preparing for an unmedicated birth, a VBAC, an epidural-supported birth, or simply seeking a more connected and conscious birth experience, I am here to support you without judgment. I offer personalized in-person and virtual birth and postpartum support, meeting families where they are and providing care that fits their needs. From prenatal preparation and continuous labor support to newborn care guidance and the adjustment to life after birth, my goal is to help you feel supported throughout your journey. I also believe that partners deserve to be informed, included, and empowered. Through education, birth preparation, and partner support, I help families approach birth as a shared experience. How I Can Support You Birth Doula Support: ~Prenatal education, birth preparation, and personalized birth planning ~Emotional, physical, and informational support throughout labor and birth ~Comfort measures, breathing, movement, positioning, and relaxation techniques ~Support navigating your options and communicating your preferences ~Partner preparation and guidance Postpartum Doula Support: ~Emotional support and space to process your birth experience ~Newborn care guidance, including soothing, sleep, and daily rhythms ~Feeding support for breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle-feeding ~Practical, hands-on help as you settle into life with your baby ~Light household assistance related to baby care ~Support for partners and siblings as your family adjusts ~Help creating a calm, nurturing environment that encourages rest and recovery As a wife, mother of three, and lifelong caregiver, I understand that every birth and every family is unique. I truly enjoy helping families feel supported and comfortable during the transition of welcoming a new baby. I am warm, respectful, attentive, and committed to providing a calm and nurturing environment for both baby and family.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Luciana care for our son during his first year of life. From the very beginning, she was loving, attentive, and genuinely responsive to his individual needs. We always felt confident knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. She kept us updated throughout the day, which gave us wonderful peace of mind and allowed us to feel connected to his day even while we were apart. She also made a real effort to engage him in age-appropriate play and activities, supporting his social, emotional, and cognitive development in such a thoughtful and natural way. Most importantly, our son was always so happy to see her and clearly felt safe, comfortable, and loved in her care. She became such an important and trusted part of his early years, and we are incredibly grateful for the love, patience, and dedication she showed him.

Hi! I was born and raised in Peekskill, NY, and currently split my time between Westchester County and New Jersey. I’m a bi-racial birth worker, massage therapist and reiki practitioner ☺️ I’ve been a NYS licensed massage therapist for the past 7 years, and that work has helped me lay the foundation to how I like to approach my work as a birth worker. In my free time you’d likely catch me curled up with my kindle reading southern gothic horror or romance( I know they’re vastly different lol), journaling, and/or shuffling one of my tarot or oracle decks. My goal is to create a space where you can breathe deeply, trust yourself, and feel cared for every step of the way.

I don’t know how I would have navigated my pregnancy and birth without Alexa. I wish I had found her earlier in my pregnancy but she showed up at just the right time! From my very first massage with Alexa, she made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. She took the time to understand my fears and hopes, and she held space for me in a way that made a world of difference. During pregnancy, her massages were moments where I could finally exhale, feel safe, and reconnect with my body. During labor, she was my anchor, reminding me that I was capable, and this was MY birth. Alexa was a source of warmth, reassurance, and love through our most vulnerable moments. She massaged my very swollen legs and feet all night into the morning, helped me find comfortable positions, and encouraged me every step of the way. But it was during my birth that her presence became something I will never forget. I did not have an easy delivery but Alexa brought comfort when I felt scared, strength when I felt overwhelmed, and a sense of calm that grounded me through every contraction and every wave of emotion that came after. Her massages helped me feel human again when pregnancy felt heavy, and her support during labor helped me tap into a strength I didn’t know existed inside me. Alexa's presence gave me the confidence I needed to endure such an intense experience. I’ll forever be thankful for her support. I also loved having her in our home for our postpartum visit and sharing my beautiful boy with her. For any first-time mom, Alexa is an absolute gift. She gave us more than support, she gave us peace. I’ll treasure her role in our story forever.??

Kayla O'Hare

Hi! I am Kayla - a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula who believes every family deserves to be heard, respected and genuinely supported as they welcome their baby. My path to birth work began with my first pregnancy, when I realized that so much about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum isn’t openly talked about. As I searched high and low for quality information, I discovered Evidence Based Birth®, took childbirth education classes, and eventually found my own doula. Navigating that process with my partner and experiencing firsthand how valuable it was to have both education and meaningful support first sparked my passion for doula work. My experience continued into postpartum, where my own experience with a Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder and the journey that followed deepened my understanding of just how important compassionate support can be through the entire transition to parenthood. As a mom of three, former nanny, and avid birth podcast listener, I bring my personal experiences and a deep appreciation for how different every family’s journey can be to each client relationship. My work is centered on the belief that birth can unfold in many ways. I strive to help my clients look back on their births and feel that they were heard, respected, supported, and an active participant in the way their baby came earthside. I especially love supporting clients who feel strongly about their choices and bring that same enthusiasm to whatever path feels right for each family. I focus on being a grounding presence, especially in challenging moments, reminding clients that, when possible, they can slow down, ask questions, and get curious about their options. I also feel passionately about caring for partners and other support people through their own transition so they can feel confident, cared for, and present for the person they love. I completed my foundational training with Carriage House Birth and continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing mentorship and education with Manhattan Birth. My additional training includes becoming an Integrative Lactation and Feeding Specialist, along with continued education in areas such as baby wearing, Comforting Touch, perinatal mental health, and other areas that strengthen the practical care I provide throughout the perinatal period. Outside of birth work, I am a wife, mom of dogs and tiny humans, a nature enthusiast, and an avid reader who is equally happy hiking and exploring somewhere new or curled up under a blanket with my Kindle.
