Hi, I'm Genesis, a Latina, bilingual (English/Spanish), DONA-trained birth doula serving families throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County. I believe there is no one “right” way to give birth. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, epidural, induction, VBAC, or cesarean birth, you deserve evidence-based information, compassionate support, and a care team that respects your choices. Over the past year alone, I’ve supported 20 births across South Florida and have experience supporting many different birth journeys, including unmedicated and medicated births, inductions, cesarean births, and successful VBACs. This experience has taught me that every birth is different—and that good doula support isn’t about achieving a particular type of birth. It’s about helping you feel informed, supported, respected, and confident throughout yours. As your doula, I provide birth education, emotional and physical support, comfort measures, breathing and positioning techniques, partner support, and continuous labor support. I also help you understand your options and prepare your birth preferences so you can walk into your birth feeling informed and prepared. As a Latina mother myself, creating a space where families feel seen, heard, and understood is especially important to me.
