I’m a birth professional based in Oshawa, ON, with a passion for supporting the whole person and their family through every part of the perinatal journey: emotionally, physically, and mentally. I’m currently certifying as a birth and postpartum doula with DONA International, a fertility doula through Doula School Canada, and a childbirth educator with CAPPA. This allows me to walk with clients through each chapter of their experience in a deeply personal and connected way. My name is Ekaterina Mariposa. I am a birth doula, perinatal psychologist, and lactation consultant with 10 years of doula practice and 13 years working as a psychologist. I work in Spain, Georgia, and internationally — online and in person. My clients are often navigating birth in an unfamiliar country, culture, or language — and I know that experience firsthand. I have lived across continents, and my practice grew from that intercultural reality. I speak English, Russian, and Spanish, and I bring both clinical training and deep personal understanding to every birth I attend. My role is not to lead, but to walk alongside — holding space for whatever this birth becomes.
