I am a Certified Postpartum Doula, trained through Childbirth International, and my personal and professional experience supporting families began over 10 years ago as a respiratory therapist focusing on neonatal and pediatric care. I currently work part-time in a Neonatal ICU, where I attend deliveries and care for premature and term infants. My educational background is in Psychology (BA) and Public Health (MPH).

Working with children and their families has been my life’s work, whether being a center-based teacher or in-home care. My biggest and greatest accomplishment has been becoming a mother to my two boys. Hi, I’m Jess—a postpartum Ayurvedic doula and mom of two based in the Greater Boston area. I first trained as a doula in 2009, after the birth of my (much) younger brother. In college, I studied nursing (my mom is a nurse), as well as reproductive health. As a doula, I love being able to care for babies and help families adjust to this new stage of life.
