The cost of a midwife in Northglenn, CO can be influenced by several factors:

  • Type of Midwife

Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) who work in hospital settings may have different pricing than Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) who attend home births or birth center deliveries.

  • Birth Setting

Hospital births with a midwife typically cost less out-of-pocket when covered by insurance, while home births and birth center deliveries may have different fee structures.

  • Scope of Services

Many midwives offer comprehensive packages that include prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care, which can affect the overall cost.

  • Insurance Coverage

Colorado Medicaid covers certified nurse-midwife care before, during, and after birth, as federal rules require this benefit nationwide. Coverage for licensed or certified professional midwives at home births and birth centers varies by Medicaid plan and is not assured for every member. Northglenn has a modest local selection, with seven midwives listed within 60 miles. For private insurance, confirm midwife benefits and birth-setting requirements with the insurer.

  • Experience and Specialization

Midwives with extensive experience, additional certifications, or specializations such as VBAC support or water birth may charge higher rates.

  • Geographic Location

Midwifery costs can vary based on the cost of living and demand for midwifery services in your specific area.

I'm Sareya Faulkner, a Birth and Postpartum Doula deeply committed to empowering expectant mothers as they transition into parenthood. Since childhood, I've been captivated by the miracle of bringing new life into the world. I've always been passionate about supporting women, while also caring for their little ones. Through my years as a nanny, I gained profound insight into the challenges many families face during birth and postpartum. Those experiences ignited my calling to become a birth worker, and I've never looked back. With a background in psychology and integrative counseling, I bring a holistic perspective that honors the profound connection between mind, body, and spirit during childbirth. My ultimate goal is to ensure families feel deeply supported and heard throughout their sacred journey. As your doula, I wholeheartedly believe in your strength, resilience, and innate ability to birth your baby. I'll be there for you, no matter the hour, guiding you through each moment with compassion and encouragement. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed or simply need a reassuring voice, I'll be right by your side, cheering you on every step of the way. Beyond my doula work, I spend my time exploring outdoors with my family, creating new recipes in the kitchen, and making art. I'm truly honored and excited to walk alongside you on your path into parenthood, offering my heart and hands to support you every step of the way.

From day one when I interviewed Sareya, I knew that she was going to be a perfect fit for our family. She started caring for my son when he was three months old. We only have good things to say about Sareya. She is timely, professional, and most of all my son lights up when he sees her walk through the door. Sareya is a caregiver that provides compassionate care. She also will take the time to listen and adjust care depending on the day to day. You would be incredibly lucky to have Sareya working alongside you and your family. We are going to miss having Sareya with us each week, but we know that she’s going to do great things working as a doula and postpartum caregiver.

Hi, I’m Kat! A doula, parent, and the heart behind Meadow’s Blossoming Bellies. For the past few years, I’ve been home with my daughter Meadow, watching her grow into this bright, fierce little human who’s taught me more about life and strength than I ever expected. She’s the reason I stepped into this work. I want her to see that it’s never too late to follow your passion—and that women can lead, heal, and build something powerful, even in the messiest seasons of life. My path to becoming a doula didn’t start with a dream. I found this work through my own experiences of birth, trauma, and healing. Meadow was born six weeks early and spent time in the NICU. Our journey included feeding challenges, a g-tube, postpartum depression, and a long road to bonding. It wasn’t easy, but it cracked me open. It made me realize how much support matters. Not just medically, but emotionally, spiritually, and human to human. That’s why I show up the way I do—as a birth, postpartum, and sibling doula who’s committed to creating a space where people feel safe, respected, and never alone. I’ve taken a range of trainings, mentorships, and classes, but most of what I bring to this work comes from lived experience and deep listening. I’m here to walk with you through the unknowns—offering grounding support, honest conversations, and care that fits you. My work is rooted in connection. I meet each family where they are, honoring your values, your needs, and your voice. Whether you’re navigating birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or preparing your older child for a sibling, I’m here to support the whole experience with presence and compassion. This work is sacred to me. Every story matters. Every birth matters. And you deserve someone in your corner who sees you fully. If any of this resonates, I’d love to connect and see how I can support you.

From the very first interaction, it was clear that Kat is not only passionate about her work but deeply committed to providing remarkable support to expecting and new parents. Kat's expertise as a doula is matched only by her compassion and genuine care for her clients. Throughout my pregnancy journey, she offered personalized guidance, ensuring every step was designed to meet my needs. Her calm demeanor and reassuring presence during labor were invaluable – she made a significant difference, providing solid support that allowed me to feel empowered and secure during such a significant moment. What sets Kat apart is her holistic approach. It's not just about the birth; it's about the entire experience, encompassing prenatal care, postpartum support, and everything in between. Her attention to detail, continuous availability, and wealth of resources made the entire process feel seamless. Additionally, Kat's postpartum care was a game-changer. Her dedication went beyond expectation, offering invaluable guidance, practical assistance, and emotional support during those early weeks. Her commitment to nurturing the well-being of both the parent and the newborn is truly remarkable. Kat's warmth, expertise, and genuine passion for her work shine through in every interaction. She is a true advocate for families, ensuring that the journey into parenthood is not just manageable but a beautiful, empowering experience. If you're looking for a doula who goes above and beyond, I wholeheartedly recommend Kat at Meadow's Blossoming Bellies. Her dedication and personalized care make her an absolute gem in the world of birthing support.

I purchased a birth doula package from Kristin. We had the free consultation (video call) and two prenatal visits and one post partum visit in my home. My husband (which was also my support person) attended the visits, too. It was important to her to include my husband in the conversations because she wanted the three of us to be a team, which I think is great! Kristin provided us detailed information about the labor process, gave us handouts to refer to and she also showed me stretches/workouts that I can do to prepare for labor. She answered all of our questions and provided resources. She went through a detailed questionnaire with me which helps to create a birth plan and also prepares you to think about the ‚what if situations‘. My water broke at home and my labor progressed very quickly. Kristin arrived very fast at my home. She helped my husband pack up the car (incl. our toddler) and she was with me in the car and helped me stay calm and focused on laboring during the 20-30min drive. I was so thankful to have her with me. I would have panicked but she convinced me that we are making it to the hospital - and we did. While I was birthing, there were lots of questions and voices from different nurses and doctors. But Kristin was next to me and she would repeat what they said and I only focused on her voice. Kristin took photos once the baby was born and I am so thankful for them. She stayed with us for a bit and then checked with us when it was ok for her to leave. Throughout the pregnancy and post partum Kristin checked in with me or I could ask her a question and she would give me resources. My husband and I are thankful that we found Kristin and we would totally work with her again! I highly recommend her!

Packages from $275 · $55/hr

Hi! My name is Linnell and I am so excited to work with you! I am a Certified Professional Doula which means I am trained in birth and postpartum support. I am a birth, postpartum, and breast cancer doula, childbirth educator, nanny, photographer, and breast cancer model and advocate. My passion is supporting families from conception through age 5. I am currently pursuing a graduate certificate to become a lactation certificate to get my IBCLC and I am also working on my Perinatal Mental Health Certificate through Postpartum Support International. Working with me as your postpartum doula is like having a big sister who is there by your side to help guide and teach you. I can’t wait to hear from you!

Recent review

Linnell was great! Helped us so much in the transition to become new parents, from advice, to tips on calming the baby, and helping us sleep between feeding stretches. She helped us triple feed and follow exactly the peds orders; she was also awesome about remembering any adjustments or requests we had! Checked in on both my mental health but also my partner’s, which was very nice, especially in the immediate postpartum period. She kept a running list of my baby’s activities during the night—from wake periods, poops/pees, feeds and how much he would take from the bottle. Great about offering advice and letting us make the decisions. Overall, a very sweet, calming, and accommodating doula. She really tries to go above and beyond to make sure the whole family feels taken care of (including my pup)!

Hi, I’m Katie—an IBCLC dedicated to supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based care. I received my lactation training through Metropolitan State University of Denver and have spent the past eight years working as both a birth and postpartum doula, supporting more than 100 families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of their lives. I come to lactation work with a foundation in Nutrition, holding a bachelor’s degree from UNC.  I have three kiddos of my own—each with their own unique breastfeeding journey. These experiences deepen my understanding that every family’s path is different, and every goal is valid. I truly love being welcomed into people’s homes and consider the postpartum period a sacred space. My approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and meeting families exactly where they are—whether they’re navigating challenges, exploring their feeding options, or simply seeking reassurance. When I’m not working with families, you can find me snowboarding, traveling, reading, cooking, and hanging out with my little crew, hopefully outside, having an adventure!

I used Katie for the birth of my first son and my second son. If I were to have a third child, I would use her again. She is knowledgeable, a calming presence and was supportive in the exact ways I needed her to be for both births. I am so happy with how my labor and delivery went each time and I feel like Katie played a huge role in me being able to feel that way. I would recommend katie highly to anyone looking for a doula.
