One thing that makes me different as a doula is that I am a Christian and I believe that God wants to be fully present in every part of our life, including birth! Beth is a Dona International certified Birth Doula who was born and raised in the Buffalo/Niagara community. After having her own family and realizing the importance of healing women at their most vulnerable and important time, she decided to dedicate herself to empowering the women in her own community. With a passion for supporting without bias and letting people make their own choices, she is able to help others feel confident enough to finally advocate for themselves and feel comfortable. Beth is a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, as well as a safe sleep ambassador who can help her clients through any and all aspects of pregnancy and birth. I'm a mother of four amazing daughters, and have been working as a full time birth and postpartum doula since 2016. Hello new parents! I am close to finishing up my training for becoming a postpartum doula. It has always been my dream to provide families with help in whatever way possible to make things so much easier for mom and baby as well as the rest of the family. Having so much hands on time with newborns and little ones, I am looking to provide in all postpartum aspects.

I started in this field as an infant nanny to my niece back in 2017. Since then I have worked in a variety of childcare settings. My time working at a daycare was spent in the infant room, caring for newborns and up. Most recently, I’ve been a nanny to two wonderful families who I’ve had the privilege of watching their babies grow from newborns to energetic toddlers. I’m extremely passionate about helping families care for their infants and young children.

I am a DONA-trained Postpartum Doula and owner of Sage Support. No experience of my life has been as foundation-rattling as having my first child. My husband and I lived far from family and friends, and - like most - our family had other day-to-day responsibilities that kept them busy. Add in a (short) NICU stay, early feeding challenges, and insufficient paternity leave, and I was a mess. In those early days, in between visits from our mothers and sisters, I constructed a tiny village of “nice ladies” - lactation consultants, speech language pathologists, a weekly breastfeeding group, and a psychologist - to put myself back together and stabilize my daughter’s eating. I believe that our country needs significant policy changes that better support families, birthing people, and infants. In the meantime, postpartum doulas can help fill that gap. I went through DONA postpartum doula and breastfeeding training in January 2021, and I’m working on the final requirements to be fully certified. I will work hard to support your family and refer you to other evidence-based professionals.
