Hi, I’m Tanya — a home birth midwife based in Winchester, California, serving families throughout Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties. I’m a mother of two and have been married for 25 years, and I bring that same steady, grounded care into the way I support growing families. Together we’ll create a plan that honors your values, your culture, and what feels right in your home. My care is evidence-based and community-rooted. I keep a close eye on your health and your baby’s wellbeing, and I make sure you understand your options every step of the way. 2 days before I met Tayna I felt so hopeless in my breastfeeding journey. Thankfully I found her and that she took insurance. So, I set up an appointment, I can’t express just how much help and support she provided. After the first day with her I was back to breastfeeding and by my next appointment with her I gained my confidence back. Thank you so much Tayna, you have no idea the impact you made for me and my family❤️ also to mention she makes house calls which are so helpful those first few days postpartum.

Hi, I’m Yoli! 🤍👶 I’m a certified doula, an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, and the proud **founder and owner of Vida Birth Support . Vida is a Latina-owned business based in Riverside County, California, proudly serving families throughout the Inland Empire and surrounding communities. As a bilingual provider, I am passionate about offering compassionate, culturally sensitive care in both English and Spanish, ensuring that every woman feels understood, respected, and genuinely supported—without language barriers. With years of hands-on experience in Labor & Delivery and Emergency Care, I have witnessed both the incredible beauty of childbirth and the challenges women face when navigating the healthcare system. Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for women during some of their most vulnerable and empowering moments. I have also witnessed too many mothers enter the delivery room feeling overwhelmed, unprepared, unheard, or uncertain about their choices. I knew I wanted to be part of changing that experience. That passion is what inspired me to create Vida Birth Support.💗 My vision was to build something that goes beyond traditional birth support—a place where education, advocacy, compassion, and empowerment come together to help women take an active role in their birth experience. At Vida, our mission is simple yet powerful: **To empower women through education, advocacy, and personalized support so they can approach childbirth feeling confident, informed, respected, and supported.** ✨ **Education Is Empowerment** We offer comprehensive childbirth education classes designed to help expectant mothers and their families understand the incredible changes happening throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Our classes focus on understanding the stages of labor, pain management options, medical interventions, recognizing potential complications, understanding patient rights, and learning how to communicate effectively with the healthcare team. I believe that when a woman understands her body, her options, and her rights, she becomes better equipped to make informed decisions for herself and her baby. ✨ **Compassionate Doula Support** In addition to education, Vida provides personalized birth and postpartum doula services centered on emotional reassurance, physical comfort, encouragement, and continuous support. Our goal is to create an environment where mothers feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout their journey. Whether you're preparing for your first birth or welcoming another little blessing, our team is here to walk beside you, provide guidance, and help ensure your voice is heard. ✨ **A Mission Close to My Heart** As a Latina woman, a mother, and a nurse, this work is deeply personal to me. I understand the importance of having someone by your side who not only understands the medical aspects of childbirth but also recognizes the emotional, cultural, and personal significance of bringing a new life into the world. I am especially passionate about helping bridge the gaps in maternal healthcare and advocating for women who may feel overlooked, intimidated, or unheard. My goal is to build a community where every mother, regardless of her background, language, or circumstances, has access to education, compassionate support, and the confidence to advocate for herself. At Vida, I believe: 🤍 Every mama deserves to feel heard. 🤍 Every woman deserves to understand her choices. 🤍 Every birth deserves dignity and respect. 🤍 Every family deserves compassionate, culturally sensitive care. 🤍 And every mother deserves to enter her birth experience feeling prepared, powerful, and supported. Vida Birth Support is more than a business to me. It is my passion, my purpose, and my commitment to making a meaningful difference in maternal healthcare. I created Vida because I believe we can do better for our mothers, our babies, and our communities. And I am proud to be building something that reflects those values every single day. ✨ Vida Birth Support — Empowering Mothers. Honoring Birth. Supporting Life. 🤍 Con amor, Yoli 💗 Founder & Owner | Vida Birth Support LLC Registered Nurse | Labor & Delivery Certified Doula | Maternal Health Advocate

Lindsay Karevoll

Hello! I’m Lindsay, a birth and postpartum doula and mom of 2. I became passionate about maternal wellness when I was expecting my first child in Norway. I received such quality care — midwives, visiting baby nurses, cushy parental leave! — but I was still missing the emotional support and expertise I needed to help me navigate a foreign medical system and the many anxieties I held as a first time parent. Since then, I’ve learned from hundreds of parents that they, too, needed more support than was available to them. Often times, they felt others were pushing an agenda that was not in their best interest. I became a doula to help change that, one family at a time. I’m here to hold space for you, learn with you, ease your fears, and empower you to feel confident through this important time in your life. If you are looking for a doula to help you birth and nurture your child on your own terms, please consider booking a free consultation with me. I’d love to learn more about you and see if we are a good fit.

Asking Lindsay to be our Doula and specifically assist with postpartum care is the best decision we could have made as parents. Our second born was much more challenging than our first and loved to scream all hours of the day. Not only is Lindsay educated, great at explaining things, and creative, she also has a very patient and calming presence that we desperately needed. SOme of the other Doulas I met were too "out there" and I appreciated Lindsay's "down to earth" responses that were kind and intelligent. She helped us feel confident and stay focused and calm when we thought we couldn't handle the screaming anymore. She gave us reassurance even as second time parents, we couldn't have done it without her!

Hi sweet mama, welcome — and congratulations on your beautiful bundle of joy! My name is Selina, and I am a spirit-filled Christian doula and postpartum doula with over 2 years experience certified through DONA who is deeply passionate about serving and supporting mothers during one of the most important moments of their lives. Pregnancy and birth can bring so many emotions, questions, and unknowns, but you do not have to walk this journey alone. My heart is to help you feel calm, confident, empowered, and fully supported every step of the way—whether you gives birth at home or in the hospital, medicated or unmedicated. I provide emotional, physical, and faith-based support with absolutely no judgment — just compassion, encouragement, and genuine care. I offer comfort measures, breathing techniques, visualization, labor support, spinning babies movements and continuous encouragement to help create a more peaceful and positive birth experience. My goal is for every mama I serve to feel heard, safe, educated, and cared for throughout her journey. During prenatal visits, I focus on education and preparation — I help you understand what to expect, clarify your preferences, and slow things down so you feel empowered and ready. When labor begins, I provide continuous emotional and physical support to help you feel grounded through each stage of the process. In the postpartum period, I meet you wherever you are — Sometimes that means feeding the baby while you pump, teaching you to pump, other times it’s just listening, making a snack, or simply admiring your baby with you. Birth is just the beginning. I’m here to support your whole transition into parenthood — with warmth, wisdom, and deep respect for your journey. Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, you deserve to feel supported, empowered, and loved during your birth experience. I would be honored to walk alongside you during this special season.

As a first-time mom, I had the joyful birth I had prayed for, and I’m so grateful to have had Selina by my side! She made me feel cared for and understood throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. She prepared both my husband and me for birth through prenatal sessions covering birth and postpartum, as well as by teaching us comfort measures. Throughout labor, she offered advice, support, and encouragement that I appreciated so much. She also showed up for me in meaningful ways during vulnerable parts of postpartum. Selina truly values her clients, and I couldn’t recommend her enough! I’m so thankful for her!

My work blends embodied childbirth education and hands-on support across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a Birthing From Within–trained mentor, I offer education that goes far beyond information—our work honors the inner journey, emotional landscape, and transformation that birth invites. Alongside this, I provide holistic, nurturing care including herbal remedies, gentle bodywork, mindful movement, breathwork, and food as medicine—supporting the body’s natural physiology while tending to the nervous system and spirit. My Philosophy: Honoring the MotherBaby Dyad I intimately understand and uphold the crucial MotherBaby bond and believe in family-oriented care that follows natural instincts. This belief shapes every facet of my postpartum support and education: Attachment Parenting: I educate and support families in honoring bonding practices such as exclusive breastfeeding, safe bed-sharing/co-sleeping, elimination communication, and babywearing. Holistic Recovery: I offer nourishing, restorative care in the first 40 days, drawing from my training as a Postpartum Practitioner mentored by Pilar Chandler, Doctor of Ayurveda for Women’s Health. Lactation Philosophy: The Power of Human Milk I am deeply committed to the evidence supporting human milk as the optimal standard for infant nutrition. While I support all feeding choices with heart, my philosophy is rooted in the conviction that exclusive breastfeeding provides unparalleled protection and nourishment. This is not just "good"; scientific consensus confirms that breast is best for both maternal and infant health outcomes.
