My experience spans home births, birth centers, and hospitals, giving me a broad understanding of the many ways birth can unfold. I believe birth deserves to be approached with reverence, preparation, compassion, and respect for each family’s individual values and choices. As a birthworker and bodyworker, I draw from multiple gentle modalities, including Zero Balancing and clinical acupressure, to help support comfort, relaxation, and connection throughout the childbearing experience. Reverent Life Services is rooted in the belief that birth is more than an event—it is a profound threshold in the life of a family. My name is Jasmine Davis, but you can call me Jazzie! I am a Doula, Holistic Health Practitioner, and Massage Therapist. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology and a concentration in Addiction Studies. I have a passion for birth work, helping others, working with underserved populations, and making sure people feel seen, heard, and supported. I have been a doula for three years and have supported many birthing parents with different experiences, values, and goals. I specialize in high-risk pregnancies, substance use support, trauma-informed care, natural birth, and holistic approaches to wellness. I take pride in supporting families through their journeys with intentional, compassionate care. With experience as a Lactation Peer Counselor and a mother of four, Mary brings a unique combination of professional knowledge, hands-on experience, and genuine compassion to every family she serves. Her passion for postpartum care was shaped by her own motherhood journey, including the experience of welcoming a premature baby and navigating time in the NICU. These experiences gave Mary a deep appreciation for the emotional and physical challenges that can accompany the postpartum season and strengthened her desire to provide families with the reassurance and individualized care they deserve. Mary believes postpartum support should extend beyond caring for the baby. Her approach centers on nurturing the entire family by helping parents rest, recover, build confidence, and feel more comfortable in their new roles. From newborn care and feeding guidance to overnight support, she strives to create a peaceful, supportive environment where parents can focus on healing, bonding, and enjoying those precious early moments with their baby. With her background in lactation support, Mary is especially passionate about helping families navigate feeding with confidence and without judgment. She understands that every family and feeding journey is different and takes the time to offer encouragement, education, and support tailored to each family’s needs. Outside of her work as a doula, Mary enjoys life with her husband and four children in Allendale, Michigan. She loves spending summer days by the family pool, making memories at Disney, coaching soccer, and cheering her children on in their activities. Family time is at the heart of who she is, and she brings that same genuine care and dedication to the families she supports. Mary feels honored to walk alongside new parents during such a transformative season of life. Hello! I'm Logan! My journey to becoming a doula was deeply influenced by my own personal experiences with childbirth. I've experienced a range of birth scenarios, including two cesarean sections, and three VBAC births. After my initial two C-sections, I felt a strong desire for a better birth experience. This led me to immerse myself in research about birth and VBAC options. With the knowledge I gained, I felt empowered to pursue a VBAC and was successful in achieving three vaginal births. I am passionate about educating and empowering other women to understand their options and feel supported in making the best choices for their own birth journey. I'm here to support you, as together we research, learn, and prepare for the birth you envision.
