As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also focus on providing inclusive care for people of all sexes, gender identities, relationship models, races, and beliefs.   I have always had an interest in the birth world, but for the first 20 years of my life, I was dedicated to pursuing my love for dance. I moved to Salt Lake City from Akron, Ohio in 2018 to get my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet from the University of Utah. While I was studying for my degree, I started reading everything I could find about becoming a birthworker. My interest turned into an obsession and after dancing professionally for a year post-grad, I felt ready to take a break from dance and pursue birth work full time!    As your birth support, I lean on my intuition and learned skills to guide me. I have been teaching somatics for over 12 years throughout my local Salt Lake City community. I acquired my BFA in Modern Dance and Education from the University of Utah in 2009 and shortly after gained my yoga teacher training in Hatha and Prenatal Yoga. I am a certified DONA Birth and Postpartum Doula, an ICEA accredited childbirth educator, parenting group coordinator, mental health advocate and community organizer.
