The cost of a night nanny in Sacramento, CA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Sacramento, CA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

My goal is to be a calm and steady presence for mothers to feel nurtured, supported, and cared for while they are getting to know their new baby and settling into a new way of life. With a master's degree in clinical nutrition, I focus on creating warm, nourishing meals, snacks, and teas that support healing and recovery during the fourth trimester. I offer in-home meal preparation tailored to postpartum healing, newborn guidance, breastfeeding support, emotional and informational support, and any household support needed to ensure you are able to rest and enjoy your new baby. As a mother of two little boys, I understand how vulnerable and transformative the postpartum season can be— because I've lived it. Even when surrounded by a loving partner, family, and friends, this time can still feel overwhelming and lonely. Through my own journey into motherhood, I feel deeply called to support women as they navigate this new season of life.

Bridget has been such a blessing to our family postpartum and I can’t recommend her enough! She makes the most amazing meals and freezer meals, making sure we’re all well fed and taken care of. While here she gets snacks for myself and the kids as well as lunch and will help watch the baby so I can actually eat. Not having to worry about meals and dinners has been such a huge help during this season. She also helps with things like laundry and watching the kids so I can get a few things done that I’ve been needing to or even feed the baby knowing my toddlers are being taken care of. My kids don’t connect with just anyone so it has been neat to see how easily they’ve taken to Bridget. They even ask to help her cook and bake when she’s here! I’m so grateful for all the ways shes helped take some of the stress off our plate and makes this season a little easier. Having her support this time around has been amazing for our family and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for extra support during postpartum!
