I am the founder and creator of Appointed Time Doula Services. I am a graduate of Dona International where I attained my Birth Doula Certification. It is paramount to me that my clients feel as welcome and as cared for as though they were members of my own family, in comparison to being a part of an uncaring system. The most rewarding aspect of my ministry is the opportunity to witness a new life come forth into this world. This priceless moment allows me to develop a unique relationship with each family.

Ms. Robin is an intelligent, inspiring, and God-fearing woman. These traits were important to my wife and I when we were looking for a doula. The greek meaning of doula is a "woman who serves". The orgin of this word exemplifies the heart posture a doula must have. And for me that would be a woman who is God-fearing. Ms. Robin's, spirtual assertiveness is unmatched, but I would be remissed if I did not mention the knowledge and widsom Ms. Robin shared professionally as a doula. During our pregenancy Ms. Robin provided in-person maternal and infant health demonstrations, (which included birthing tutorials, labor preparation, and mental health counseling sessions). Her teaching technique provides a platform to learn. Ms. Robin created a fun and comfortable atmosphere which allowed my wife and I the grace to apply the tools that were taught for our labor and delivery. In our search for a doula, my wife and I were looking for a well-rounded individual, and Ms. Robin provided expertise in serveral categories; health and wellness, financial literarcy, and psychological safety. I would offer my deepest approval and recommendation for Ms. Robin services. Her personality, professionalism, and presence overshadow any doubt, a person may have in the delivery room.

Hey, I’m Lauren Byler, a birth and postpartum doula serving within a hour radius of Warsaw, Indiana, who’s passionate about helping families feel calm, supported, and confident through one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives. I’ve always been drawn to the beauty and strength of birth, and I love being able to hold space for people as they find their own rhythm and trust in the process. My goal as a doula is to bring a steady, reassuring presence; to be someone families can lean on through the unknowns and the in-between moments. I believe every birth story is unique, and that support should feel personal and heartfelt. Being invited into this part of someone’s journey is such an honor, and it’s truly the kind of work that is so fulfilling.

Lauren was my doula for the birth of my daughter, and she was honestly incredible. From the moment I went into labor, she was calm and so reassuring. She helped me breathe through contractions, reminded me to relax my shoulders when I started tensing up, and kept telling me I was doing great when I started to doubt myself. That encouragement made such a difference. One thing that really stood out was how intuitive she was; she always seemed to know exactly what I needed without me having to say it. When things got intense, she applied counter pressure on my back and helped me change positions to get more comfortable. She also helped my husband feel involved, showing him how to support me and keeping both of us calm. She has such a comforting presence and a deep understanding of birth. I never felt judged or rushed, just completely supported. Would recommend her to anyone.

Jamara White

Hi, I’m Jamara — a proud mom of two and a passionate doula who believes every woman deserves to be supported, seen, and empowered during her journey into motherhood. Becoming a mother myself opened my eyes to the emotional, physical, and spiritual strength that birth requires — and the importance of having someone present solely for you. That experience grounded my purpose: to advocate, care, and stand beside women during one of the most sacred transitions of their lives. To me, this is more than a service — it’s heart-filled, purpose-driven work. I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where mothers feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way. Whether it’s offering comfort, guidance, or simply being a steady presence, I am here to advocate for your voice and your birth experience. Your birth. Your story. Your strength. I’m honored to walk this journey with you

Jamara was truly amazing! I mean she was patient, attentive, knowledgeable, kind, etc. I will say there was a never a time I didn’t feel heard as she made sure this was about me and my baby. The times in the hospital if she couldn’t get to me, she called or texted my Mom. You can tell she loves what she does and that is so important these days. I believe her passion will take her so far and I am grateful for her

For the past 10 years, I’ve had the honor of supporting growing families through Reverent Life Services. My experience spans home births, birth centers, and hospitals, giving me a broad understanding of the many ways birth can unfold. I believe birth deserves to be approached with reverence, preparation, compassion, and respect for each family’s individual values and choices. As a birthworker and bodyworker, I draw from multiple gentle modalities, including Zero Balancing and clinical acupressure, to help support comfort, relaxation, and connection throughout the childbearing experience. Reverent Life Services is rooted in the belief that birth is more than an event—it is a profound threshold in the life of a family. In addition to doula support, I offer intentional birth services and meaningful ways to honor and preserve the experience, including placenta encapsulation, bodywork, birth art, handcrafted jewelry, and breastmilk soap. Whether you are preparing for your first birth or welcoming another member into your family, my goal is to offer knowledgeable, compassionate support while creating space for you to feel informed, empowered, and deeply cared for throughout the journey.

We had Heather as our birth doula for the home birth of our second kiddo, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Heather has a unique way of holding space for the people around her. From the very beginning, she brought a calm, reassuring presence that made us feel supported and cared for throughout the entire experience. She was incredibly supportive of my partner, always attentive to what she needed, while also helping make sure everything around us was the way it needed to be. What stood out most was how naturally Heather seemed to know when to step in and when to simply be present. She was there to support us, encourage us, and help us have the birth experience we wanted. Her compassion, attentiveness, and ability to create a sense of calm made such a difference for our family. We are incredibly grateful that Heather was there to welcome our little one into the world with us. Hello! I’m Eva, a Full-Spectrum Doula proudly serving the Michiana area (Northern Indiana/Southern Michigan). My passion for birth work began when I was a teenager and has only grown stronger over the years. Before becoming a doula, I spent many years supporting families as a full-time nanny, building deep connections with parents and children in my community. I later took my passion for birth work to Hannah’s House of Michiana, where I gained invaluable experience working closely with women in various stages of their reproductive journey. In the Fall of 2022, I experienced one of the most transformative moments of my life when I welcomed my son into the world. His birth ignited a powerful, unshakable calling to support other families through their own birth and postpartum journeys. Since then, I’ve had the honor of stepping into my role as a doula in my local community. I believe every person deserves to be supported through their unique birth experience with respect and compassion. Whether you’re preparing for labor, navigating your postpartum transition, or anything in between, I’m here to offer you non-judgmental, evidence-based support that centers you and your family. You are the expert of your body, your birth, and your choices, and my role is to help protect, advocate for, and support your vision for your journey.

I highly recommend her to anyone who wants solid support, an advocate in their corner and a jovial mood at their birth.

I cannot recommend Karly Simpson enough! From the beginning of my pregnancy, she was a steady source of knowledge, comfort, and encouragement. She took the time to really understand my needs, my fears, and my hopes for birth. During pregnancy, her physical support was invaluable whether it was showing me positions to ease discomfort, helping me prepare my body for labor, or simply being there to check in and make sure I was taking care of myself. She offered practical tools that made such a difference, and I always felt more confident after talking with her. When labor began, she was my rock. She guided me through each contraction, suggesting positions, breathing techniques, and hands on support that made the process more manageable. She anticipated my needs before I could even ask and worked with my partner by giving him the confidence to support me. I don’t think my partner and I could have had a more magical experience together. Her calm, grounding presence helped me stay focused and empowered. She reminded me of my strength when I started to doubt myself, and she celebrated each step of progress with me. I truly felt seen, heard, and cared for every moment. Having Karly by my side made my birth experience not only more comfortable but also more meaningful. She gave me the confidence and reassurance I needed, and I am forever grateful. If you are considering a doula, look no further Karly is incredible!

I can’t say enough about Nora’s competence, generosity, warmth, and kindness. I reached out to Nora when I was 20 weeks pregnant looking to relocate to the area. I was hoping, as a Doula, she could help me understand prenatal care and birth options available. She exceeded all expectations. Her guidance had both breadth and depth. She respected all of my personal preferences. She helped me find my full stack of care providers. Every midwife, nurse, chiropractor, physical therapist, massage therapist, etc that I met had a strong relationship with her and a deep and profound respect for her and her work. I was afraid to give birth in a hospital but that’s where I had to be because of transferring care so late in pregnancy. Nora surrounded me by a moat of providers that respected my wishes and I had a beautiful home birth in a hospital.

July 2026

Nora was an invaluable member of our birth team. From our first meeting, we trusted and adored Nora. Nora is not only topically well-trained, but she is also thoughtful, compassionate, and curious. To assist in birth preparation, Nora made several home visits to share information, talk through our worries and questions, and help us build confidence. I also attended one of her labor workshops and pre-natal yoga. When the day finally came, I felt empowered with practiced tools I could use for mental and physical comfort. When I began to hit a wall of exhaustion during labor, Nora prepared a fresh bath for me, offered mental cues that gave me something to center on, and made a smoothie run to help provide the extra push to the end. Nora provided support to both my husband and I that helped us get to the finish line with our goals and values in tact. She kept the atmosphere calm and focused at a time where it could have quickly shifted. I also truly believe Nora’s presence helped to set the tone and atmosphere for our midwife and nurses at the hospital. With the twinkling lights, lavender bath, and relaxing music, we maintained a centered experience the entire time for me and the rest of the birth team. After Nora left, our nurses and midwife raved about how much they loved working with her. Nora also brought peace of mind to my husband during the experience, his first and only time supporting his wife through labor. She provided him with insight, options, and steadiness that allowed him to confidently and fully support me. If you’re reading this and made it this far, I just want to give you the gentle nudge to invite Nora into your birth team. You, your birthing partner, and the rest of your birthing team deserve a team member as wonderful as Nora!
