I believe every couple has their own history and approach. When I meet a new coupe I like to understand where they are coming from and meet them where they are. I like to educate people about birth, and help them get new perspectives about it, that they might hadn't thought about before. I think birth is such a spiritual process, many times we feel that we need to know all the facts and then everything will go as planned. But birth is so unpredictable, and the baby is part of it too, so I like to help people understand and connect to that, and give them tools to cope with whatever happens.
