I cannot recommend her enough. Candace helped me through all three of my pregnancies! She provided unwavering emotional support throughout my pregnancy and postpartum, helping me feel seen, heard, and confident during such a vulnerable season. She gave me invaluable breastfeeding guidance and was an incredible resource when I developed mastitis and preeclampsia. Her compassion, knowledge, and calming presence made such a difference in my experience. Every family deserves someone like her in their corner.

Hi, I’m Faith! I provide compassionate postpartum and overnight newborn support to families throughout the Dayton area. With a healthcare background, NICU volunteer experience, and extensive hands-on experience caring for newborns and twins, I’m comfortable independently managing overnight care while helping parents get the rest they need during the postpartum period. My overnight support can include bottle preparation and feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing and settling, safe sleep routines, washing and sanitizing bottles and pump parts, tracking feeds/diapers/sleep, and light newborn-related tidying. I have particular experience with twins and multiples and am comfortable tandem feeding and caring for two infants throughout the night. As I expand my services into postpartum doula care, my goal is to support not only baby, but the entire family during the transition home. I provide nonjudgmental, parent-directed support and am happy to work alongside each family’s preferred feeding, sleep, and newborn-care routines. I primarily offer overnight support and recurring postpartum arrangements, with limited daytime availability. I would love to connect with families looking for reliable, experienced support during those first weeks and months at home. Inclusive & culturally sensitive care: I warmly welcome families of all backgrounds, cultures, faiths, ethnicities, and family structures. I respect each family’s individual values, postpartum traditions, and newborn-care preferences and tailor my support accordingly. Healthcare background • NICU volunteer experience • Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid Certified • Safe Sleep Trained • Postpartum Doula Training in Progress • Experienced Overnight Newborn & Twin Care Provider

I hired Faith to be a night nanny for my newborn twins. Immediately I was very impressed by Faith's responsiveness and previous experience with overnight care for twins, as synchronized feeding and sleeping is essential. She arrived right on time and was so personable and easy to get to know, which made me feel more comfortable with having her take care of everything while I got some rest. She knew how to feed the twins using our Twin Z pillow and the importance of burping them and getting them back in their cribs to continue sleeping. She took great notes that were well organized and ready to share with me at the end of her shift. She also cleaned the used bottles and made sure everything was tidied in the nursery. I highly recommend her to anyone needing night nanny services, especially those with newborn twins/multiples.

When we found out we were expecting triplets we knew we would need a lot of support and advice to navigate that journey— we were so lucky to find Chella and have her by our side for the end of my pregnancy and bringing our triplets home. She’s a fierce advocate, a wonderful, funny presence, and a top-notch organizer! She would be an asset to any family but especially families facing an uphill climb during their immediate postpartum— those with medically complex babies or multiples. Her ability to be calm and methodical when facing a challenge is priceless.

Hello! I’m Katie! I am certified birth and postpartum doula(DONA).I am located in South Park, Pa. I have been working with little ones for about 15 years and I have been in the birth field for about 3 of those years. I absolutely love supporting families! I have all clearances, CPR certification, and am extremely reliable. On top of being a private doula I also work at Magee Women’s hospital as a prenatal and birth doula for the last three years supporting over a hundred births at this point! Being part of someone’s birth journey is always such an honor. I try to bring a calm and confident presence in the room to help you with all of your birth goals; and help you to have the birth you imagined. If I’m not at a birth or helping a family overnight with their new bundle of joy; you would find me with my little family. My husband and I have been married since 2017 and we have a little boy who is almost 6 years old! Some of our favorite things are camping, going to the movies and vacations to Disney world !

Working with Katie as a night time postpartum doula was truly invaluable during our newborn stage. Those first few weeks can be exhausting, and having professional overnight support made all the difference in our family’s well-being. I was able to rest knowing my baby was in experienced, attentive, and caring hands. She handled feedings, diaper changes, and soothing with such calm confidence, and always kept me informed while still allowing me the uninterrupted sleep I desperately needed. She also helped in my breastfeeding journey as she would bring the baby to me and put the baby back in the bassinet for me so I never had to leave the bed. I highly recommend Katie to anyone looking for compassionate, professional, and dependable night time postpartum support. It was one of the best investments we made for our family.

Faith had truly become an extension of our family for the first 3 months of our daughter's life! We started working with Faith when our daughter was less than a week old, and from the beginning she brought such a calm, confident, and warm presence into our home during the chaotic time of early parenthood with a newborn. She is very trustworthy, prompt, and reliable. For my husband, she represented safety and stability as he knew our daughter was safe and we could have a good night's sleep. For me, she was also a trusted mentor into motherhood - both from her professional training and her experience of being a mother to 3 children. She helped me navigate breastfeeding/pumping and how much my baby was eating, she taught us how to calm an overtired crying newborn, hunger vs overtiredness cues, transitioning from a swaddle to a sleep sack, fussiness from vaccines, and more. After 3 months of working with Faith 5 nights per week, we felt like we were finally ready to 'graduate' from Faith and tackle parenthood ourselves as our daughter was easily sleeping 9+ hour stretches at night in her bassinet! I cannot overstate how grateful we are to Faith for her help and guidance with our daughter during those first 3 months - we would have been lost (and extremely sleep deprived) without her. I know she enabled me to be a better mother to my daughter during the days and to have time heal from birth. Faith will be one of our first calls if we have more children! We would love the opportunity to work with her again.

It is in this role where I feel my intuition, guidance, and personal experiences to be incredibly supportive and valuable. The maternal period can be challenging, but with the right support, I know it can also be an incredibly joyous and transformative time. I am a diaper-free, breastfeeding, and HypnoBirthing advocate. Hi! I’m Sydney, the founder of The Village Doula Collective, LLC. My journey into birth work began nearly a decade ago while working as a nanny. What started as childcare evolved into something deeper—I found myself supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and I realized how much I loved being part of that transformative time. That experience led me to become a doula, and since then, I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate, informed, and inclusive care. I am a certified full-spectrum doula, trained through the Somatic Arts & Sciences Institute, with additional education from organizations such as Cornerstone Doula Trainings, and Birth Advocacy Doula Training. I also received my Lactation Education Specialist training from Santiago Canyon College. I’ve had the honor of attending births and supporting families through postpartum recovery, and my passion for this work continues to grow. With a bachelor’s degree in sociology, I understand that birth support is not just about physical care—it’s about addressing the systemic disparities that impact birthing people, particularly in BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. My mission is to make doula care accessible and equitable, ensuring that every family—regardless of income, background, or identity—has the support they need. At The Village Doula Collective, we believe in the power of community. Whether through direct support, education, or advocacy, we’re here to uplift birthing people and the doulas who serve them.

Sydney has been the support I needed to feel prepared, safe, and confident to go through birth and postpartum. I started with basically no knowledge about the physical process of birth or what my options would be in the hospital. Sydney walked me through every variable and option so I knew my choices but she never pushed me into decisions she just gave me information to make my own. Postpartum Sydney was EVERYTHING. She helped me prepare with my husband and was so reassuring as we started breastfeeding and caring for our baby as first time parents. It was so much better to be able to text Sydney my questions instead of google spiraling on normal newborn behaviors. I could go in and in but basically, Sydney will make your experience 100x better and you’ll want her to be a part of your family forever!

Hello! I’m Nora, an experienced Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula with over 35 years of professional childcare experience, including 26 years specializing in newborn care. My journey began in 1991 as a professional nanny caring for children of different ages. In 2000, a dear friend introduced me to the wonderful world of overnight newborn care, and I quickly discovered my true passion. I completed my Postpartum Doula training in 2005 and continued my professional education in newborn care in 2007. Throughout the years, I’ve expanded my knowledge through additional training in lactation education, infant sleep shaping, and age-appropriate sleep training. One of the most meaningful experiences of my career began in 2006, when I was hired to care for newborn twins. What started as an overnight position developed into a wonderful nine-year relationship with their family. During those years, two more babies joined the family, and I had the privilege of helping establish healthy sleep routines for each of them. Years later, another family welcomed me into their home to care for their twins. Once again, what began as newborn care turned into a five-year commitment. Throughout these long-term positions, I continued supporting other families with overnight newborn care, allowing me to stay actively involved in the work I love most. My areas of experience and specialty include: * Overnight newborn care and postpartum support * Twins, triplets, and multiples care * Premature infants and NICU-to-home transitions * Breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and lactation education support * Reflux, gas, and feeding challenges * Gentle newborn sleep shaping and healthy sleep foundations * Age-appropriate infant sleep training and independent sleep guidance * Parent education and individualized newborn routines My approach to sleep begins with gentle, responsive routines during the early newborn weeks. As babies grow and become developmentally ready, I help families gradually establish healthy sleep habits and work toward more independent sleep. I believe every baby is unique, and every family deserves care that respects their parenting preferences, values, and individual needs. I am CPR/First Aid certified, professionally insured, bilingual in English and Spanish, and a registered Carrot provider. For me, newborn care is much more than a profession. It’s a passion that has allowed me to build meaningful relationships with families and support them through some of the most beautiful and challenging moments of parenthood. My greatest reward is knowing that parents can rest peacefully while their little ones are receiving attentive, nurturing, and experienced care. I would be honored to be part of your family’s journey! ❤️

I’m Emilee, affectionately known as Nanny Emmy. I’m a career nanny with over thirty years of experience caring for children of all ages. For nearly the past decade, I’ve focused exclusively on newborn and postpartum care, supporting more than fifty families through one of the most important transitions of their lives. Working with families is not about showing up with a checklist. It is about walking into a home and immediately understanding what is needed. From the baby who is struggling to settle, to the parent running on empty, to the small details no one else has time to think about, I bring experience, confidence, and a listening ear. I provide a combination of newborn care and postpartum support, whether during the day, overnight, or both. My care is practical, intuitive, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Whether I'm caring for your baby through the night, helping establish healthy sleep habits, or managing a few household tasks while you rest, my presence is intentional and my care is always tailored to your family’s needs. What sets me apart is not just experience. It is the ability to assess a situation, respond with purpose, and care for the family as a whole. I understand what recovery actually looks like. I understand what newborns need. And I know how to bring relief and routine into a home that feels stretched thin. My goal is to leave families feeling confident and capable without the guesswork. You already know you need the help. The next step is saying yes. Getting started is simple, and the support that follows brings real peace of mind.

I believe everyone is deserving of support, and I'd love to be part of your journey! In my free time, I love partaking in comforting hobbies such as pottery, cooking, reading, and gardening. I also like to balance those hobbies with traveling the globe, rollerblading everywhere I can, and scuba diving in the beautiful, cold depths.

Joy was one of two night doulas that we used for the first six weeks of our twins life. Having her in our lives was invaluable, so much so that we extended her contract 2 weeks further than originally planned. She is knowledgeable, skilled and easy to talk to. She provided us with basic tips about baby caring and twin caring when asked, and showed immense skill and love when handling our newborns. We had her for 9 hours every night, which meant that I got lots of sleep but also someone to debrief the day on, and look for tips and improvement. She seemed genuinely happy to arrive every evening, and she cared for our babies as if they were her own. Her calming presence set us at ease, and the babies seemed to always be calmer with her as well. We have told many other pregnant friends about her skill, but recommend her to anyone looking for a night nurse you can trust.

I believe that birth is meant to work, and that all women deserve support, encouragement and respect while they are birthing their beautiful baby! Let me walk with you on this journey towards motherhood however that looks for you. I am happy to support you with in-person or virtual doula services. Catherine was our support system for the birth of our first daughter. She taught us so much as we prepared to welcome our daughter, and she was the cheerleader I needed by my side during delivery. She was always available for random questions/concerns and she helped us get the information we needed to feel confident in the decisions we made at the hospital and beyond. As a Catholic family, it was also really nice to have another strong Catholic woman praying for us and with us throughout the whole process. I have recommended Catherine to friends considering hiring a doula, and I will continue to do so.

Hello families! Congratulations on your new addition(s)! My name is Kaila Stephens and I am a Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Lactation Counselor located in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have provided care for infants and their families for over a decade. I have a background in Early Childhood Care & Education, advanced newborn care training, and expertise in feeding, sleep shaping, parent education, nursery and baby registry set-up. Bringing new life into the world is an incredibly special and exciting time for families, but it is also a vulnerable time. My practice is judgement-free. My primary goal is to provide your family with the most support and knowledge possible to set you up for parenting success. When I am not caring for babies or running my business, I enjoy going to the park with my son, walking my dog Nemo, tending to my garden or reading a good book.

Recent review

Kaila is simply amazing. She was with our family for the first ~15 weeks after our daughter was born (initially for 10 weeks but we loved her so much we extended). As first time parents we were nervous and a little crazed when our little one was born early at 38 weeks - from the moment she entered our home Kaila brought a calming warm energy. Not only was she incredibly sweet with our daughter, she was kind and supportive of us. We had great peace of mind knowing our little one was well cared for at night (and we got much needed rest!). Additionally in her capacity as a certified lactation consultant she gave advice and support, helping us monitor baby’s weight and advising on pumping / increasing supply when we struggled with breastfeeding. Kaila was sweet with our pups as well - she truly became a part of our family. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us through our first few months adapting as new parents. We’re more than happy to recommend her to any family looking for a reliable, kind and knowledgeable caretaker!
