The cost of a night nanny in Wheat Ridge, CO can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Wheat Ridge, CO, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. Hi! Im Chrystal. Thank you for being here! I’m a DONA-certified Birth and Postpartum doula dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to families throughout their birthing journey. Based in Littleton, I share my home with my husband and our beloved Springer Spaniel, Fisher. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Regis University and previously worked as a nurse aide and a midwife’s assistant, experiences that shaped my deep respect for both clinical care and the natural wisdom of birth. I began working as a doula in 2022, earned my certification in 2023, and have since had the honor of supporting more than 100 families. I have attended births of all varieties including home births, VBACs, cesarean, unmedicated, assisted, and more. Outside of birth work, I love spending time outdoors; identifying plants, hiking, camping, or simply walking with Fisher. I love the warmth from the sun and the sound of birds, they give me life! You’ll often find me enjoying a cup of tea with a good book, exploring creative outlets, or spending an afternoon wandering through Barnes&Noble or World Market. My guilty pleasure is rewatching media I’ve already seen and love, or rereading old books that I can’t forget. I like to think of my role as a consultant, advocate, and fairy godmother all in one. I support you in achieving your dream birth by offering continuous physical and emotional care, helping you maintain informed consent, and empowering your instincts while holding space for this incredible experience. I also work closely with your partner, giving them the confidence and tools to provide meaningful emotional and physical comfort. I value organization, timely communication, and nonjudgmental care. My goal for my clients is a labor that feels peaceful, informed, and joyful. In the labor room, my focus is always on my client’s comfort and their overall goals for birth. I prioritize finding the balance between letting labor unfold naturally and offering suggestions when they can truly make a positive difference. I often joke that just because I know Spinning Babies doesn’t mean I’m going to “flip you like a pancake”—those tools are there when they’re needed, not as a default. To me, your intuition is VIP, and medicine is a powerful tool we can use when it supports your safety and your vision. Past clients have mentioned my calm, reassuring presence and my soothing voice helping to ground them in intense moments. When helping families get acclimated at home in the first few weeks, my focus is on ensuring that my clients get off on the right foot. I prioritize guiding both parents and baby through the new life they are adjusting to, helping build structure and workflows that work for each individual family. My top two favorite parts of attending births are feeling like I have helped, and the look on your face when you realize; “I DID IT!” Thanks again for being here and congratulations!

Upon our first meeting with Chrystal she instantly entered our hearts. You can truly feel her care and compassion for this field. Chrystal was with us before the baby, during the delivery, and has continued to stay in contact. She stayed flexible and attentive during the birthing process. We felt very supported the whole way. We would could not recommend anyone more than Chrystal, and would love for her to be a part of our next birth story!

Working with Wendy was such a gift, especially in the early post partum days. She was 100% reliable, easy to communicate with, and so warm and nurturing to our baby (and to us!). She has a wealth of knowledge about babies, sleep, and feeding. And she will happily share that with you and troubleshoot. But she isn’t overbearing with opinions or recommendations if that’s not what you’re looking for. She made us feel so comfortable leaving our baby in her care so that we could sleep soundly and gave us detailed updates about the night the next morning. And when our baby went through some health issues she was extra attuned to those details and the plan. We would work with her again and again!

Congratulations! My name is Alyssa. I've been a doula since 2013. I became a doula shortly after the birth of my first born when I experienced a tremendous lack of support. I felt alone and isolated and overwhelmed with the contradicting information online. After connecting with other moms within the community, I learned that I wasn't an outlier and this experience was far too common. I studied with Penny Lyon and Ann Pollack in 2013 and became certified with DONA shortly after. Later in 2013, I began working at a local birth center as a midwife assistant to further my medical training. It reaffirmed that I was meant to be a doula serving families within my community. As a certified yoga instructor since 2006, I started integrating Prenatal yoga and doula work. It truly felt like the most comprehensive way to support families by bringing them affective and age old tools to cope with labor pains. Since 2013, I've proudly served over 1000 families. I'm the co-founder of In Joy Birth, a doula training company/agency located in Orlando, Florida. In 2023, I moved my family to the greater Denver area to be close to the mountains where I am currently serving families. I'm passionate about continuing education and am currently working on finishing my Pediatric Sleep Consulting certification. I'm also BLS/CPR certified, and Carrot approved. I work with only one family at a time so that I can provide individualized care to each one of my families.

Alyssa is not only an incredible doula, but also one of the most genuine people I have had the pleasure of knowing. With her vast knowledge of pregnancy and childbirth, she helped me to truly figure out what I wanted and needed. Without her I can't imagine having the incredible birth experience I had! Alyssa's postpartum care is what really sets her apart. She guided me through breastfeeding challenges, fed me nutritious food, and helped around the house to make sure I could rest and focus on my transition to motherhood. It was such an incredible gift to be able to soak in those first days with such peace and support. I am forever grateful for her, and can't recommend her enough!

Most doulas provide support. I provide something more. I offer a specialist-level guide for the most significant transition of your life. I bring together birth expertise, nervous system-informed coaching, and deep newborn and postpartum knowledge to support women who want to feel genuinely prepared, not just accompanied. My clients don't want a hand to hold... they want someone who can think ahead of their care team, help them navigate decisions with confidence, and be a steady, knowledgeable presence from pregnancy through the fourth trimester. Based in Littleton, I serve the greater Denver metro area with comprehensive birth and postpartum support — and a philosophy rooted in the whole you: your body, your mind, and your specific vision for this season of life. If you're the kind of person who invests in your health and does the work, we're probably a great fit.

I found Beth in the last few weeks of the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy with my 3rd daughter, and she changed everything for me! She made me feel safe and supported from the moment we spoke over the phone! She was knowledgeable and professional, but she also made me feel like we were lifelong friends! When it came time for my delivery, Beth was incredible! She helped keep me focused and as calm as possible during contractions and she held the hospital staff accountable to my birth plan wishes. She also created us a beautiful gift after the birth of our little girl, she made us a digital birth story, it was such a touching recount of the entire evening! I would recommend her to anyone having a baby! She is the most amazing doula!

Greetings! I'm Karisa Totah, a certified birth doula and postpartum doula (through DONA International). I'm also Spinning Babies trained and a Body Ready Method certified Pro. I live in Littleton, CO with my husband, near my best friend and her babies. I serve the Denver Metro area, usually within 25 miles of my home. Birth, babies, and parenting have been a life-long fascination of mine, even since I was little. I nerd-out over the smallest baby and birth details and absolutely adore helping and learning from each new family I meet. I firmly believe that both the research and my experience support the idea that doulas reduce anxiety. The birthing year can be such a stressful one if you don't know what to expect, don't have the support you need, and don't have people watching out for you. I love filling in the gap to educate and empower, support and love, encourage and help you find joy in this journey. My motto is: "Replacing anxiety with courage, fear with knowledge, discouragement with hope, and overwhelm with joy."

I want to take a moment to share just how grateful we are for our doula, Karisa someone who has become one of the most important people in our entire journey to becoming parents. From the very beginning, she showed a level of patience, compassion, and understanding that is rare to find in this world. During my wife’s pregnancy, my father was dying, and I spent a lot of time out of state. By the time he passed, I had only two months to prepare myself to become a dad emotionally, mentally, and practically. It was one of the hardest periods of my life, and Karisa stepped in with the kind of guidance and support I didn’t even know I needed. She taught me everything I needed to know with kindness and positivity. She motivated me, encouraged me, and made me feel capable at a time when I was overwhelmed. She didn’t just show up as a doula she showed up as a leader, a teacher, and someone who genuinely cared about our family. When the day finally came for our son to be born, Karisa was absolutely incredible. She was on point from the first moment, bringing calm, clarity, reassurance, and real hands-on expertise. She made every part of the birth easier, more comforting, and more understandable. I truly cannot imagine going through that experience without her. She played such a big part in making the birth of our son a beautiful, positive, and empowering moment. And her support didn’t end there. After our son arrived, she stayed with us for many hours, helping, teaching, explaining, and making sure mama was taken care of. Her presence brought so much peace and confidence during a time where everything was brand new and overwhelming. Karisa didn’t just help with a pregnancy and a birth — she helped shape one of the most important chapters of our lives. She kept everything on track from the very beginning, helped us grow into our roles, and gave us the tools and support we needed when we needed them most. We are forever grateful for her. She truly is the best. 💙

When not with her own kids or working with clients, Kristen loves being in nature, traveling to new places, frolicking with her dog, swimming, hiking, biking, snowboarding, and surfing.

Recent review

Hiring Kristen as our doula was the best thing I did for my pregnancy and birth. She made herself available throughout the final few months of my pregnancy via countless texts and phone calls prepared to answer all the wild questions I had about any symptoms or feelings. When I finally went into labor, none of us knew I’d be in it for a whopping 60 hours before my son was in my arms. I could go on and on about all the things she did to help get my son in an optimal position (there were many) but at the end of the day, she was just there for me. There for me when I thought I’d be having an unmedicated birth center birth. There for me when we had to have a c-section instead. And there for me after while I processed it all. She is amazing and I’d hire her again and again and again.

I am a DONA certified postpartum doula and lactation counselor. Specializing in postpartum recovery, lactation, feeding and newborn care. I am also a FSI certified pediatric sleep consultant. I serve families newborn through 6 years of age, and help them navigate a variety of sleep concerns. I work in person and virtually. My services are approved and paid for through Carrot and Progyny.

My husband and I worked with Jamie in the fall of 2021, when our first son was born. We chose a 'virtual' package, with options for video calls, phone calls, and texting. This service was exactly what we needed, and I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Jamie in this review. Her constant advocacy for the health and happiness of our son (and therefore his parents!) was incredible, including acknowledgment, understanding, listening, asking questions, and providing thoughtful recommendations (solutions to try) or references (for example to other local providers) for us to use. She even connected us to other parents selling used baby gear to purchase products to try. Knowing she had my back was such a crucial part of our first few months, and now I tell everyone if there's one thing you do for yourself and your baby in the birthing process- it's to hire a postpartum doula. Everyone should be so lucky to have Jamie have their back, available for that phone call or text when you're having your toughest moments. The reassurance is invaluable. For us, we didn't feel we needed someone in our home in person, but we needed that number to call when we had questions, and that's exactly what the virtual package provided. We give Jamie ten stars, not five, and we highly recommend working with her!
