She not only cared for our baby with tenderness and warmth but also cared for me as I recovered from birth and managed the roller coaster of postpartum emotions. Edoukou was a fantastic prenatal doula. She was backup for my birth doula, who had a planned vacation right before my due date. While she didn't end up needing to be there at the birth (baby came on the due date!), Edoukou attended two prenatal meetings. She was particularly helpful with my birth preferences document--she helped me edit it down and gave me (hugely helpful) tips about how to talk with my providers in advance of the birth. She also helped me plan out my post-partum month, which is a specialty of hers. Definitely recommend!
