Meet Kamilla Kamilla is a Full Spectrum Doula through Cornerstone Birthwork Training, as well as a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) trained through Newborn Care Solutions. With over 5 years of international experience, she is passionate about providing compassionate, knowledgeable, and individualized support to families during the postpartum and newborn period. Born and raised in Brazil in a large, loving family, Kamilla grew up surrounded by caregiving. Inspired by her grandmother, a traditional midwife, she developed a deep connection to newborn care, maternal support, and nurturing practices from an early age. Her passion for postpartum care became even more personal after supporting her own mother through postpartum depression. This experience gave her a deeper understanding of how vulnerable, emotional, and overwhelming the postpartum transition can be. Through her professional experience, she has also supported families navigating baby blues and postpartum depression, always providing compassionate, nonjudgmental support while recognizing when additional professional care may be needed. Kamilla has additional training in Montessori Education, Sleep Training through Summer Secret, and Early Childhood Development. She is currently continuing her education in Breastfeeding Education through CAPPA and pursuing her nursing education to further expand her knowledge of maternal and newborn care. With a background in law and extensive hands-on experience caring for newborns and supporting families, Kamilla brings together professional education, practical experience, and genuine compassion. She understands that postpartum is not always the beautiful, effortless experience portrayed online. It can be exhausting, emotional, unpredictable, and overwhelming. Her goal is to create a calm and supportive environment where parents can rest, recover, bond with their baby, and feel confident in their new role. Kamilla provides individualized support based on each family’s unique needs, with a focus on newborn care, postpartum recovery, sleep support, feeding support, and the emotional well-being of the family. Her philosophy is simple: When we care for the mother, we care for the entire family.

Kamilla was an incredible postpartum doula for our family. Her calm, compassionate support gave us the confidence to navigate those first few weeks with our newborn while also allowing us to get much-needed rest. Working with Ivy Haven Birthwork was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. From the very beginning, I felt so seen, heard, and genuinely supported. This wasn’t just about information or checklists — it was about having someone walk beside me with calm, grounded presence every step of the way. Throughout my pregnancy, I always felt like I had a safe space to ask questions, process emotions, and explore my birth preferences without any judgment. Every visit left me feeling more prepared, more empowered, and more connected to my body and my baby. During labor and birth, Ivy Haven showed up with such quiet strength and intuition — anticipating what I needed before I even had to ask. Whether it was hands-on comfort, encouraging words, or just holding space, the support was everything I hoped for and more. I truly don’t know how I would have navigated it all without that presence. And postpartum… wow. Having someone check in on me — not just the baby — made all the difference. Ivy held space for my recovery, my questions, my tears, and my joy. From helping with practical tips to simply sitting and listening, I felt truly cared for in those tender first weeks. Now, with my baby girl nearly four months old, I still carry the strength and grounding I gained from my experience with Ivy. I’m endlessly grateful.

Hi! I'm Lorraine. I'm a doula and lactation counselor. I'm also the founder of Repose Postpartum, a postpartum care company that focuses exclusively on recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding. I've worked with about 300 families throughout NJ and NYC over the past 8 years. I encourage you to think of yourself as the CEO of your home, and to bring in a doula as a postpartum consultant who will help you navigate their new normal and help you start their parenthood journey on the right foundation. That looks like: • Ensuring that your physical and mental health is prioritized, as it's the foundation for your family's unit • Translating newborn care into systems that actually support rest and recovery • Guiding you on how to better understand and respond to your baby's cues and behavior • Providing breastfeeding counseling so that you can feel more informed and supported on how they feed their baby • Educating you on the intricacies of newborn sleep, and helping to implement gentle and realistic sleep routines. I accept most benefit programs offered by employers. I'd love to learn more about how my team and I can support you during the early postpartum period.

After dealing with the 4-month sleep regression for over a month and a half, my husband and I decided to reach out to Joy. At the time, our son was barely sleeping overnight. He was waking every 30 minutes to an hour and refused to sleep in his crib or bassinet. After speaking with Joy, she created a detailed, personalized sleep plan specifically for our son. To our amazement, after just one night, he was sleeping through the night with only one wake up to feed. I was so nervous about sleep training because I thought it would be stressful and heartbreaking, but it was the complete opposite. The process was much easier than we expected, and the results were truly life-changing for our whole family. Joy was incredibly supportive every step of the way, always available to answer our questions and provide reassurance. I can’t recommend her highly enough. If you’re struggling with your little one’s sleep, she is absolutely worth it!

Before I went to Jade's childbirth class at Montclair BABY, I had never heard of a doula. Her class was holistic of all the options during labor and delivery, and my husband and I felt like Jade could be the perfect support person to ease my anxiety during pregnancy and labor. We were absolutely right. Jade offered continuous comfort and information for me throughout my pregnancy. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and gave advice for things I hadn't even considered. Being someone who has always been terrified of childbirth, Jade eased my anxiety leaps and bounds. We prepared for it beforehand, but once I went into labor, Jade supported us over the phone and at my home before we went to the hospital. My birth went from something that I used to fear, to something I now look back on with fond memories (I think that's a wild transformation) and I truly credit a lot of that to Jade. She was an advocate for me at the hospital, she rarely left my side except when I needed alone time with my husband, and she encouraged me. She worked cooperatively with the rest of the birth team. Dare I say birth was actually a little fun? I whole heartedly recommend Jade as a doula and would love to have her at my future births. There really aren't enough words to describe how grateful I am for her.
