We can't thank Gabrielle and Dale enough for the care we received during one of the most important moments of our lives. From the very first call, Gabrielle went above and beyond, she reached out to us personally and, even on short notice, made sure we were matched with a doula in time for our son's birth. That kind of responsiveness and care told us right away we were in good hands. We were paired with Dale, and we truly don't know what we would have done without her. Dale brings decades of experience, and it shows in every piece of advice she gives practical, brutally honest, and exactly what two nervous first-time parents needed to hear. She stayed with my wife through long overnight hours of labor, and when things shifted to a C-section, she was right there with us in the room, just as we'd hoped and planned. Having her steady presence in that moment meant more to us than words can capture. What really set Dale apart, though, was how she showed up for us even after our son was born. In the days that followed, she kept checking in on us and sending along newborn care videos from trusted specialists, little things that made a huge difference as we found our footing as new parents. She also took the time to capture photos of us during the whole process and those very first moments with our son, gifts we'll treasure forever. We will never forget the time we spent with Dale, and we're endlessly grateful to Gabrielle for connecting us with her. If you're looking for a doula practice that truly cares about your family, look no further.

Working with Adrienne was a really great experience for me during my pregnancy and birth of my first child. She provided support throughout the pregnancy with frequent checkins and meetings. I feel her approach to calm birth attributed to my birth experience and my son’s joyful demeanor now. He is a very calm baby and when we feel overwhelmed we remember our practice to breathe life and calm into our bodies. During the birth Adrienne helped me get comfortable in the hospital by creating a safe space with calming music and dimmed lights. She also helped advocate for me to switch positions so that I could avoid a c-section. Once I changed positions the baby was ready to come out naturally. She also provided cool towels on my head and neck support which made a lot of difference when it feels like you’re heating up everywhere from pushing. I especially appreciated her massage therapist expertise before and after the baby. I think the massage after the baby was more invigorating and life giving for my recovery than anything else I did postpartum. We are so thankful that we met Adrienne and that she supported us during this beautiful experience!

Hi! I’m Nicole and here’s a bit about my story. I became a Birth and Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist because I truly believe parents deserve to feel supported, not overwhelmed, during pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum stage. This season is tender, emotional, and life-changing and my role is to be by your side with compassion, knowledge, and reassurance. I meet families exactly where they are—honoring their choices, their culture, and their intuition. While providing evidence-based guidance and calm, grounded support, and respect for each family’s values, and understanding that there is no “right” way to give birth or parent a newborn. Whether you’re preparing for labor, navigating the early postpartum weeks, or adjusting to life with a new baby, my goal is to create a calm, non-judgmental space where YOU feel confident in your choices and supported every step of the way. My philosophy is centered on nurturing both baby and parent. Whether I’m offering hands-on newborn care, emotional support during birth, my goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and never alone. I focus on promoting rest, recovery, and bonding while helping families establish gentle routines that feel realistic and sustainable. I view my role as both a guide and a steady presence. I believe when parents feel supported, they thrive — and that belief guides every part of the care I provide.

My husband and I are incredibly grateful for Nicole’s support throughout my pregnancy and during our baby’s birth. Her calm presence and thoughtful guidance were invaluable, especially when we needed to make important decisions at the hospital for both me and our baby. She helped us feel informed, grounded, and confident every step of the way. My husband also felt truly supported and empowered in his role, which meant so much to us. We wholeheartedly recommend her for both prenatal and birth support.

I’m a birth and postpartum doula serving families throughout the Baltimore, DC, Southern Pennsylvania, and Southern Maryland areas. My work is rooted in one core belief: when a mother is deeply supported, nurtured, and cared for, she is better able to care for her baby and step into motherhood with confidence and grace. I specialize in supporting mothers through some of the most vulnerable and transformative seasons of life — including high-risk pregnancies, birth trauma, postpartum mood disorders, hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), chronic illness, pregnancy after loss, and complex postpartum recovery. My background in psychiatric rehabilitation counseling allows me to bring a unique understanding of emotional health, nervous system support, and compassionate care into the birth world. My approach is deeply intuitive, trauma-informed, and mother-centered. I believe birth is not just a medical event — it is a life-changing human experience that deserves respect, advocacy, emotional safety, and individualized support. Whether I’m supporting a laboring mother through transition, helping a postpartum mother heal after a cesarean, assisting with feeding challenges, or simply making sure a family feels seen and cared for, my goal is always the same: to “mother the mother.” I offer both birth and postpartum doula services, including overnight and daytime support, prenatal education, emotional support, recovery guidance, feeding support, and practical care for growing families. I am especially passionate about helping women trust themselves again after difficult experiences and creating spaces where mothers feel safe, empowered, and genuinely held. Beyond my work with clients, I’m passionate about maternal mental health advocacy, improving the birth experience for women, and creating honest conversations around motherhood, healing, and the realities of postpartum life. My work combines evidence-based education with warmth, intuition, humor, and deep compassion. At the heart of everything I do is the belief that mothers deserve quality care. As a certified birth and postpartum doula and co-founder of FaberFam LLC, Lacie provides steady, evidence-based support so families can approach both birth and early parenthood with clarity instead of fear. She is known for helping clients understand what’s normal, make informed decisions in the moment, and stay grounded—even when things feel intense, uncertain, or overwhelming. Lacie combines hands-on skill with a calm, attentive presence. During labor, she is continuously assessing progress, using positioning and comfort techniques to support the body’s natural process, while helping partners stay involved, confident, and connected. Families who work with Lacie often say they felt “anchored,” “prepared,” and “never alone.” Whether navigating the intensity of labor or the transition into early parenthood, her focus remains the same: helping you feel supported, informed, and at peace with your experience. As your doula, Lacie provides: • Continuous, in-person labor support so you’re never navigating alone • Skilled positioning and comfort techniques to support progress and coping • Clear, real-time guidance so you understand what’s happening and what your options are • Partner coaching so your support person feels confident and helpful • Calm, steady presence—especially during the most intense moments • Daytime postpartum support focused on recovery, confidence, and adjustment • Guidance on feeding, newborn behavior, and what’s developmentally normal • Hands-on support with baby care and light household reset • Gentle rhythm-building to create more predictable, manageable days • Support preparing for transitions, including returning to work If you’re looking for support that is both compassionate and highly skilled, Lacie’s approach is designed to help you feel prepared, supported, and confident—from birth through the early weeks of life with your baby.

Lacie was a great help during my first couple months postpartum. She has a calming and nurturing presence. She gave great tips for sleep and soothing techniques. Our daughter has reflux, and Lacie was always attentive to her needs, keeping her upright after feedings and contact napping with her when needed to help ease her symptoms. She took wonderful care of our daughter and made sure my husband and I were able to get the rest and support we needed. Thank you Lacie!

I’m Chaya, a DMV native, proud mama of three, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), student midwife, and birth worker with a deep passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My journey into birth work began in 2019 when I earned my CNA license, NRP/CPR certification, and full-spectrum doula certification. I originally entered nursing with the goal of becoming a labor and delivery nurse, but in 2020, I began apprenticing as a student and birth assistant alongside a local home birth midwife. That experience completely shifted the way I viewed birth and helped me develop a deeper appreciation for physiologic, intrinsic birth and the importance of protecting a birthing person’s autonomy. Since then, I’ve continued growing both in nursing and midwifery. I became a Licensed Practical Nurse while continuing my education toward my ultimate goal of becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). I’ve also spent several years working in a local hospital’s Labor & Delivery unit while running Nova Birth & Wellness, which has allowed me to experience birth from both the clinical and community-based sides of maternity care. As a doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, birth photographer, student midwife, nurse, and perinatal advocate, my heart has always been centered around supporting mothers during one of the most sacred and vulnerable seasons of their lives. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of attending more than 200 births in different roles, and every experience has continued to strengthen my passion for this work. While I have a special love for natural, physiologic birth, I believe there is no single “right” way to give birth. Every person deserves to feel informed, respected, supported, and in control of the decisions surrounding their body and their baby. Whether someone chooses a home birth, hospital birth, epidural, induction, cesarean, or an unmedicated birth, my role is to help them understand their options and feel confident in the path that feels right for them. Advocacy is at the core of everything I do. My goal is to create a relationship built on trust, safety, and genuine connection so my clients know they can confide in me, depend on me, and feel completely supported during such an intimate time in their lives. Many of the relationships I’ve formed with families have grown into lasting friendships, which is one of the things I value most about this work. My dream is to become a CNM and eventually open my own practice where I can provide families with compassionate, evidence-based, autonomous maternity care and offer the option of home birth—the same kind of empowering experience I was blessed to have with my own children.

Chaya was amazing for us in the delivery room. My doctors were pushing for a c-section and she stayed respectful of what I wanted while still informing me of my options (Dr's really make it sound like you have no options but what they are suggesting). She advocated for me and made me feel like I had control of my labor. My labor was stalled and I had been at 6cm for a long time and my baby wasn't in the best position. My Dr. wanted a c-section and I asked for just one more hour to see if I progressed any further. All of the Dr's and nurses left the room and Chaya took action. She went and got a nurse to come back and help her put me in different positions to see if we could get me ready. For the entire hour she directed the nurse on which positions they would do and when my Dr came back, I was 10cm with the baby in the correct position. My doctor was actually shocked and so was I! Without Chaya I definitely would have had a c-section (something I was trying to avoid). I am very grateful for her and how she encouraged and informed me throughout my entire pregnancy and labor.

I had the privilege of witnessing Tania from Birthing Boutique in action during the birth of my friend's baby at INOVA hospital, and the experience was nothing short of amazing! Throughout the labor, Tania demonstrated an impressive blend of expertise and empathy. She was an invaluable resource, not only for my friend but for the entire birthing team, seamlessly collaborating with the medical staff to ensure a safe and empowering experience. Her ability to create a serene atmosphere amidst the intensity of labor was truly remarkable. What stood out most about Tania was her unwavering support of my friend's choices. She actively listened and ensured that the birthing experience aligned with my friend's preferences, even in the face of unforeseen challenges. In addition, she anticipated needs before they arose and was a pillar of strength during tough moments. Her holistic approach, which included massages, words of affirmation, and breathing techniques, were next level! I would highly reccomend her services!
