This mother of 3 has experienced a lot and I'm here to support you as a birth doula. DONA Certified for Birth and Postpartum support, Certified Lactation Consulting, Certified Childbirth Educator, Reiki certified, Body Ready Method and Spinning Babies Trained for labor prep and comfort measures. As long as I have walked the earth, I have been perceived as a creative to the core, a visual artist, and a classical musician. My BFA in Fashion and Textile Design from FIT helped commit that identity but I was always attracted to helping people and understanding how the body works. A few years later, that curiosity challenged me to enroll in a course that was the complete opposite of what I had always been. I survived, flourished, and was 1 of 7 people to graduate from an intense 40 week program when I became a Certified Surgical Technologist. My graduation coincided with becoming pregnant 3 months later, and 9 months after that I graciously took on my next job, being a mommy! Along the way, I worked on my art, let my CST lapse, picked up my bass to occasionally play in orchestras, and had 2 more babies. My family was my focus but as children got older, I found more flexibility to explore the other facets of myself. I have had the luxury to develop my own body of fine art, play in an international orchestra, and discover the incredible gift of being a doula! My background as an artist and musician has taught me how to improvise and individualize every situation based on essential evidence-based ideals. My focus is to give each family a positive, special birth experience. I utilize professional resources, analogies, images, stories, and humor into our time together. My first support opportunities were with three very gracious young ladies at the Malta House. It was through their need for education that I learned how to teach about childbirth, their right to a beautiful birth experience taught me commitment, and their desire for unwavering companionship taught me how to support. I have since earned additional certifications in lactation consulting, childbirth education, and body preparedness for labor in order to better support women in the perinatal space. I am proud to support women in a variety of environments to help advocate for their desired birth!

After dealing with the 4-month sleep regression for over a month and a half, my husband and I decided to reach out to Joy. At the time, our son was barely sleeping overnight. He was waking every 30 minutes to an hour and refused to sleep in his crib or bassinet. After speaking with Joy, she created a detailed, personalized sleep plan specifically for our son. To our amazement, after just one night, he was sleeping through the night with only one wake up to feed. I was so nervous about sleep training because I thought it would be stressful and heartbreaking, but it was the complete opposite. The process was much easier than we expected, and the results were truly life-changing for our whole family. Joy was incredibly supportive every step of the way, always available to answer our questions and provide reassurance. I can’t recommend her highly enough. If you’re struggling with your little one’s sleep, she is absolutely worth it!

We called Erica when we were extremely desperate with our colicky newborn. We needed help not only medically but also mentally and emotionally. Erica came to our house and explained to us everything pertaining breastfeeding, checked our baby and took her time to explain to us a lot of things we needed to know. As first time parents, the birth of a child is a difficult journey, but Erica was patient, caring, and answered every one of our questions with easy to understand language and walked us through how to navigate our new life. When Erica left our house, we had peace of mind, we felt understood, cared for, and our burden stopped being so heavy. She was the first person (even before her pediatrician) to suggest that our forever crying baby had reflux, and from that day on we were able to treat her accordingly. I cannot recommend Erica enough, the only thing I regret, is not having called her sooner.

The Best Support We Could Have Asked For! We had the immense blessing of working with Priya for both labor/delivery and postpartum care, and I can confidently say she was one of the greatest gifts of our entire journey into parenthood. As first-time parents, the transition can feel overwhelming, but her presence brought comfort, confidence, and so much peace into our home. From the very first moment, she was gentle, knowledgeable, and incredibly nurturing. Her care is rooted in deep Ayurvedic wisdom, and she combines it beautifully with modern newborn support. She went above and beyond in every way. ✨ Labor & Delivery Support Having her with me during labor and delivery made all the difference. She was calm, encouraging, and present through every contraction and every moment of uncertainty. Her guidance helped me stay mentally strong and physically supported. I truly don’t know how I would have done it without her. ✨ Newborn Care She cared for our baby with so much love — from Ayurvedic oil massages, creating gentle daily routines, helping with gas/colic relief, and supporting healthy sleep patterns. Every single thing was done so thoughtfully and respectfully. ✨ Postpartum Recovery For Me She didn’t just help with the baby — she took care of me as a mother: - Ayurvedic belly binding for core support - Warm oil massages - Herbal teas and foods that supported healing and milk production - Emotional and mental support on days I needed it most She made sure I rested, nourished my body, and felt seen and cared for — something every new mother deserves. ✨ Food & Meals Her freshly prepared Ayurvedic meals were amazing. Everything was warm, nourishing, and made to help my body recover and build strength. You can tell she puts her heart into every part of her work. ✨ Family Support She guided my husband, helped us understand newborn cues, and even shared tips that made our whole home more peaceful and soothing for the baby. Her knowledge is priceless. If you are considering Ayurvedic newborn care or postpartum support, don’t think twice. She is truly gifted at what she does. She combines expertise, intuition, and compassion in a way that is rare to find. We felt protected, encouraged, and cared for every single day. We absolutely love her and are so grateful for everything she brought into our lives. She will always be a special part of our birth and postpartum story. ❤️

Lornnie Louie

I am a certified postpartum doula, lactation counselor, mother, and designer. I was born in NYC and grew up between Brooklyn and Honolulu, where my parents met. Surrounded by natural beauty in Hawaii, I became really interested in plants and studied the ways they're used as natural medicine in indigenous cultures. I dove further into holistic wellness and lived in an ashram in India, where I obtained my yoga teaching certification. It became clear to me that one can be healed by connecting the mind and body with nature. I love to create nourishing meals that incorporate healing herbs to nurture the body into a balanced state of well-being. After I birthed my son, I really understood the challenges in postpartum and importance of supporting and honoring new parents in their special journey. I feel empowered to help postpartum families through one of the biggest transitions of their lives, to make them feel supported and provide resources in areas where they may feel uninformed. I currently reside in Ridgewood, NY and enjoy yoga, cooking, dancing, and tending my medicinal herb garden.

Lornnie was such a pleasure to spend time with and was so supportive. She cooked delicious and nutritious post-partum meals, cleaned the kitchen and boxed up leftovers for us for the rest of the week. Lornnie also helped us with some tips for newborn care. She is connected with the community and helped connect me to a group of new moms in the neighborhood.

Antasia Mccray

I am a mother to a 5 year old and have loved children since I was a child myself. I have always been someone who enjoys helping people. I started on the path towards nursing, earning my Associate’s degree in Fall of 2022. After mostly completing my degree in summer of 2022, I realized my personality wouldn't shine in nursing. I am more empathetic and personable, which lead me to becoming a doula. I started with birth doula in August and it opened my eyes to my passion for birthwork. Shortly after, I took the postpartum doula workshop. That led me to also taking infant CPR, and earning a certified lactation support counselor as well. I am looking forward to sitting for the Lamaze CBE exam Fall of 2023. I have worked with families both prior to these certifications and currently and I can’t wait to explore and learn more

Antasia was an incredible support for my husband and I when we needed overnight care for our newborn. After interviewing many people, we had been turned off by those who were strict about their approach and seemed to want to impose their practices on our family. As new parents, we needed tenderness and flexibility—someone who would care for our son at night and allow us to sleep peacefully knowing our son was safe and being tended to the way we choose to raise him. Antasia was a calm and responsive presence, working with us to adapt to changes as our newborn developed and we grew as parents. She was always on time and communicated proactively in the rare instance there was a scheduling issue. At the start of every visit she asked us what changed and what was new, which was helpful as newborns change on a weekly basis and so did our approach. We were always at peace knowing Antasia was coming. I also was able to recover from insomnia due to Antasia’s presence and my confidence in her to look after our child while we slept. Our only regret was not meeting her sooner so we could have had her with our family on day 1 coming home from the hospital.

Geeta supported our family as an overnight doula during the first few weeks of our daughter’s life, and having her in our home was such a relief and a pleasure. She not only made us feel more confident as parents, but took time to check in on my own recovery in addition to caring for our daughter. She was an absolute pleasure to work with!
