Peace starts at birth — and every parent deserves to feel supported, informed, and deeply cared for throughout their journey into parenthood. Hi, I’m Trinity, a birth and postpartum doula passionate about supporting growing families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and the emotional transitions that come with becoming a parent. Whether you’re preparing for your first baby, navigating postpartum emotions, struggling with breastfeeding or pumping, adjusting to sleepless nights, or learning how to care for yourself while caring for a newborn, you do not have to go through it alone. I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for parents — especially mothers who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or unsure in their new role. My goal is to help you feel grounded, empowered, and supported every step of the way. I have experience supporting both medicated and unmedicated births and offer personalized support tailored to your unique goals and needs. For families interested in a natural, low-intervention birth experience, I also offer hypnobirthing guidance, breathing techniques, visualization exercises, and guided meditations to help prepare your mind and body for birth in a peaceful and intentional way. Some of the ways I can support you include: • Birth planning and emotional preparation • Postpartum emotional support and adjustment • Breastfeeding and pumping support • Sleep and newborn routine guidance • Introducing older siblings to a new baby • Couples transitioning into parenthood together • Guided meditation and breathing sessions • Postpartum recovery and gentle core-strengthening support • Healthy meal prep and nurturing household support • Creating calming environments for birth and postpartum recovery • Ongoing encouragement, education, and compassionate care I believe every birth journey deserves gentleness, respect, and support — no matter what path your birth takes. I currently offer a free 15-minute consultation call so we can connect, discuss your needs, and see if we’re a good fit. After that, support sessions are available for $30 per 45-minute session. If you’re looking for someone to walk beside you during this transformative chapter with warmth, patience, and genuine care, I would be honoured to support you. In 2016, when I gave birth to my first child, I want to share with you all how much help my dear friend Aeran was to me. At the time, I was living in the Surrey area and going through my pregnancy and birth journey with a midwife. Through my midwife, I learned about doula services and had already signed up for one. On the day I went into labor, mild contractions turned into active labor, and I immediately informed both my doula and my closest friend, Aeran—who had already experienced childbirth herself several times. (At that time, she was not a doula yet, but a very experienced birth “senior.”) When my contractions became less than 10 minutes apart, we headed to the hospital, and that was when the indescribable pain truly began. Even after arriving at the hospital, after a total of 17 hours of labor, I was finally able to hold my baby through a natural birth. (Halfway through, the pain became unbearable, and I did receive an epidural.) To be honest, the pain was so intense that my memories from that time are not very clear. Yet, the moments that remain vividly with me are almost all memories of Aeran caring for me so attentively. My husband and the doula were also by my side and did their best to support me, but throughout those long hours, Aeran stayed awake the entire night without sleeping even once (while my husband and the doula did manage to rest briefly). She constantly reassured me emotionally, telling me I was doing well, helped calm me down, massaged me wherever I needed, and took care of everything I required. And when my baby was finally born after that long and exhausting labor, the person who cried with joy—almost more than I did—was Aeran. (Sorry to my husband and the doula at the time, but I honestly don’t remember much about them;;;) As an immigrant, I gave birth without my own mother being able to come to Canada yet to help me. In that moment, Aeran played a role far greater than that of a mother. In fact, I don’t believe anyone else could have cared for me so devotedly throughout the entire night without any rest. So when I later heard that Aeran had decided to formally study and pursue the path of becoming a doula, I was truly overjoyed and cheered for her, knowing it was such a wonderful decision. I am deeply confident that her natural character, the way she treats people, and her strong sense of calling and passion for her work will shine beautifully in her role as a doula. Anyone who has experienced her doula services—whether as a mother or as a family member—will know that there is not a single exaggeration in what I have written here. I sincerely hope that this story helps someone who is reading this as they make their own choice.

Working with Mak has honestly been one of the best decisions we’ve made during this pregnancy. From the very first consultation, she was so kind, genuine, and informative. She came to my home, sat down with me, walked me through what her role as a doula would look like, answered all my questions, and instantly made me feel comfortable. I never felt pressured or “sold to” at all. If anything, she gave me the information and confidence I needed to make the best decision for myself. What stood out to me most was how empowering she was. She reminded me that I was fully capable of having a beautiful birth experience with or without a doula, which I really respected. In the end, I chose to move forward with her because I could tell her focus was truly on supporting both me and my partner throughout the experience. She also checks in often just to see how I’m doing and how pregnancy is going, and she always congratulates me with each passing week. It may seem small, but it’s been so encouraging and reassuring during this season, especially after 4 previous miscarriages. Our first official appointment together was amazing too. My partner was there and had such a great experience with her as well. She’s very hands-on in such a comforting and supportive way. She guided us through different exercises and learning activities without it ever feeling overwhelming. She brought dolls to teach diaper changing, diapers, a medicine ball, handouts for birth prep, interactive card games around birth preferences and important conversations, and so many other thoughtful tools. You can tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely cares about the families she works with. The heart she brings into her work is really special and has made this experience even more magical than it already always was!

Jill was a truly remarkable birth and postpartum doula, and the best support we could have asked for through pregnancy, labour, and the early postpartum period. From the start, Jill helped us feel genuinely prepared and confident. Her prenatal support was thoughtful and tailored to our specific plans and preferences, covering everything from labour expectations to newborn care and infant CPR. It felt like a private, customized baby prep course, and because of her guidance, we didn’t feel the need to take any additional classes. During labour, Jill’s presence was exactly right. She gave us space when appropriate but was immediately there when needed. When our labour didn’t unfold as anticipated, she was a calm, steady presence who helped us think through options clearly and confidently during a stressful and unpredictable experience. Postpartum, Jill has continued to be an invaluable resource. She's supported us through the emotional and physical ups and downs of early parenthood with practical advice, reassurance, and effective techniques for settling our little guy. Jill is more expensive than some other doulas—and rightly so. Her experience, time commitment, and depth of care are exceptional. We felt we received incredible value, and it was without question the best investment we made to support ourselves through this major life transition. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.

I’m a caring, calm, and practical family support provider with a diverse professional background in healthcare, childcare, aquatics, first aid, and community work. I spent 12 years working in healthcare with at-risk youth and older adults, and I’m currently completing my Full Spectrum Doula training through Doula School Canada, including postpartum care. I bring that combination of healthcare experience, safety knowledge, and hands-on family support into the way I care for both parents and children. My approach is very individual. I don’t believe there is one “right” way to parent, recover, feed a baby, build a routine, or support a child. I believe in meeting families where they are, listening before assuming, and helping people feel more confident in their own abilities rather than stepping in and trying to take over or “fix” things. Sometimes support means practical help, sometimes it means information or reassurance, and sometimes it means recognizing that someone is exhausted and needs a meal, a shower, a few uninterrupted hours of sleep, or simply another capable adult in the room. With children, I’m calm, creative, and very hands-on. I encourage age-appropriate independence, I’m patient about mistakes, happy to answer approximately nine million questions, and generally not bothered by a little mud, paint, flour, or chaos along the way. I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and youth and take an individualized, trauma-informed approach to communication, routines, sensory needs, and emotional regulation. Ultimately, I want the families I support to feel safe, respected, listened to, and more confident — not judged or managed. I bring a lot of professional knowledge into a home, but I never forget that it is your family, your values, and your life. My role is to support you in it.

Joann was such an incredible support to us throughout pregnancy, labour, and postpartum. Our baby is 6 months old now and when I think of his birth, I remember how amazing it was to have Joann there. I had a planned c-section after a very traumatic delivery with my first, so I knew I wanted a doula by my side, but also to support hubby in case he needed it. Throughout pregnancy, Joann was a cheerleader, always there to talk. When our little guy decided he couldn’t wait until his planned c-section date, Joann pivoted and met us as at the hospital as soon as we needed her. She came with her bag of tricks (lol) to help me through labour (a labour I wasn’t anticipating because of the scheduled c-section), which progressed so quickly, and she was so great at ensuring both myself and hubby were supported where and when we needed. She took beautiful pics too and stayed with us until we were settled in our room. The overnight visits were a game changer, too! We love and appreciate Joann, and couldn’t imagine what the experience would have been like without her! I’ve given birth without a doula, and with a doula - having Joann there was the experience any mama deserves when having a baby <3
