Mesa, Arizona
Hello, I'm Janelle, labor and postpartum doula serving family's East and West Valley. I love a good road trip, and will occasionally travel too! An Arizonan since early childhood, I am in love with our Superstition mountains and the desert beauty around. Nature has my heart and you will often find me in it hiking, reading or worshiping with my guitar. I knew from very young that it's my call in life to serve others, and this has been a journey that has taken me around the world and back working through the years with children and adults in varying capacities. Each leg of that journey's been a blessed adventure that I wouldn't take back for a moment! I fell into birth work early 2023 while supporting a loved one in their delivery. Walking one crazy season in life, this loved one of mine found a strength deep within. She'd done her research, she'd faced her fears, she stood strong, but no matter how strong you are it is my firm belief that every woman and every couple deserve a pillar to lean on, and I was asked to be there for that. I found myself honored to support my niece's parents in their journey that day, and as I spoke with nurses in the room I found a fire lit inside to grow and deepen the passion discovered then that's blossomed into birth work now. While tailoring doula care to the individual needs of each family, it is my heart and joy to meet each family where they are at, offering support emotionally and physically. As a birth doula I emphasize preparing mom and dad as a team, birthplan support, evidence based education, advocacy, and empowerment. I hold space for you. For your heart, for your vision, for your needs in each moment. My heart in every pregnancy journey that I support and in every birth room that I enter is to set and hold an atmosphere of dignity, strength and peace. An atmosphere where mom and dad are honored, supported, encouraged and educated in every way as they welcome their littlest into the world. I join couples in their journey to welcoming little one at any point that they'd like to bring me in. Whether you just learned last week that little one is on the way, or are expecting two weeks from now and realize you'd like that extra support, I am here to walk alongside where you are at. I partner with couples in pregnancy through prenatal appointments focused on preparation, education and emotional support, as well as texting and phone support along the way. I provide constant support as much as you may need through labor to birth and remain 1-2 hrs postpartum, or until you feel settled. We'll meet for one or more postpartum visits along the way as I continue to be available throughout the first month with resources, education and emotional support. As a postpartum doula, again, care is always tailored to each family's needs bringing support both emotionally and physically. This sometimes is a listening ear, breakfast in bed and gentle foot rub for mom, while other times it is caring for baby overnight as mom and dad sleep a little deeper knowing that their little one is watched and safe while they rest. Whether providing care day or night, I am always glad and available to assist in every way that I can with light housekeeping, dishes, laundry, extra love and time for older siblings, or even prepping a meal into the crock pot for later. Always, I believe that life is precious, a gift to be cherished, and that God's plans and purpose for each person are good. In this it is an honor to me to step alongside every mother and couple each in their journey, and I look forward to an opportunity to chat with you in yours.

Welcome to Grow in Grace Doula Care! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a wife, new boy mom, and pediatric registered nurse based in Queen Creek, Arizona. With three years of pediatric nursing experience, I have always had a special love for taking care of little ones. My true passion lies in supporting new moms and babies, which is why I fell in love with postpartum doula care after the birth of my son. Having been supported by both labor and postpartum doulas during my birth and recovery, I can honestly say my experience would have been vastly different without their care. I believe birth and postpartum are natural and beautiful events in which every woman should feel empowered and protected. That's why my goal is to provide loving, non-judgmental care to all expecting parents, helping them experience the grace and joy that comes with their new baby! At home, I enjoy a full and joyful life with my husband, son, two dogs, and our rabbit. Outside of my doula work, my perfect day includes reading my Bible while sipping on an iced coffee or matcha, spending time outside in the sun and grass, hanging out with my family, and podcasting!

I’m a 35-year-old single mother navigating the rewarding and challenging journey of raising an adventurous 11-year-old boy. My life is a blend of nurturing a curious and growing child while indulging in my passions and interests. For many years, I’ve been deeply immersed in the food industry, managing a beloved family-owned Mexican restaurant that was started by my grandparents in 1964. This restaurant has been a cornerstone of our family and community, and my work there has not only shaped my professional life but also my personal identity. Running the restaurant has been a labor of love, connecting me to my heritage and allowing me to share our family’s culinary traditions with others. Cooking remains a significant part of my life, whether it's preparing meals at home or experimenting with new recipes. I find joy in exploring new culinary experiences and discovering new flavors, both in my own kitchen and through dining out at different restaurants. Traveling to foreign countries is another passion of mine, as it offers a chance to immerse myself in different cultures, gain fresh perspectives, and experience the world from new angles. Nature is my sanctuary, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether I’m hiking through scenic trails or simply enjoying the outdoors, I cherish the connection with nature and the tranquility it brings. My Philosophy Central to my philosophy is the belief that no woman is ever truly alone in her journey. As a mother and a professional, I embrace the idea that support, solidarity, and shared experiences among women are powerful forces that uplift and strengthen us. Whether through the bonds we forge in our personal lives or the communities we build in our professional endeavors, the connections we make are vital. I am committed to fostering these connections and drawing strength from the collective wisdom and support of the women around me. In addition to my work in the food industry, I am a certified prenatal doula. These roles allow me to provide comprehensive support to families during one of the most transformative times in their lives. My certifications reflect my dedication to helping others navigate their birthing and breastfeeding journeys with confidence and care. Balancing motherhood with my professional and personal interests, I strive to create a fulfilling and vibrant life for both myself and my son. My experiences in the food industry, coupled with my passion for travel, nature, and my work as a doula and lactation support specialist, shape a life filled with creativity, exploration, and deep familial bonds.
